Thanks man I screw around with all sorts of stuff an I’ve been messing with ls’s for years I tried this once before but I didn’t do it right now I know how to
My LS1 had a custom tune years back and sadly the tuner is no longer in busineess. Long story short, the cats went bad and did a cat delete. I am getting some P1133/53 error codes thrown at me, and nothing seems to fix it. I read somewhere that it's possible to tune out these codes from coming up. Is that something I can do with this software? I do not want to lose the custom tune done though will I lose it if I start messing around or can it just go in and change what is needed to turn off the codes. Any help would be much appreciated.
Yeah, you should be able to read your custom tune and just make changes. If the operating system isn't supported by TunerPro you could also try "universal patcher"
I have no idea what you did, but guessing, you changed factory programing using selective factory options for other models basically. you eliminated auto trans sensor, enabling use of ol' school manual? and somewhere in those files alarm/immobilizer is deactivated? wud you be willing to program my pcm when time comes? or write a kindergarten brain mentality directional list of procedures. I'd be willing to pay , one more thing, how much more/less vehicle info does one need for getting most outta pcm to a non -pcm vehicle aka '81 p/u , and a/c as future option, everything else standard '81 no smog pump, can a performance chip be used or is that basically wat is being done? can cam timing be modified ? original 5.3 LS had automatic in 4wd crewcab '05 no idea if 4L60 or 4L80 i cud find out if thats necessary ....just curious, how did you learn bout all coding n is it something that experienced ppl shud do? i'm sure video is/was helpful to many, so thanx for making it, consider doing one using MSD LS box for naturally aspirated engine?
LS-Droid is still kinda under the radar probably because it's not super user-friendly...but it's a perfect match for what I'm doing since I'm cheap and I already know TunerPro really well. haha
I'm just wanting to turn on the fans on my 03 Escalade, would I need to do any extra changes I'm new and love the video looking to learn as much as possible
Is there a way to skip the "middle man" of the Android phone and BT dongle, and just read/write the file straight from the TunerPro software on the computer? Using a USB to OBD2 cable?
Nope. I don't think so. You need the Android OS to run LS Droid and Windows for TunerPro. I did set my laptop up to connect to the BT dongle and that let me datalog. (See my other video). But TunerPro will only write OBD1 chips, it can't do OBD2.
Originally I had that stuff in at regular speed, but the video seemed kinda boring, so I sped it up 3x or something. If there's something you missed you can always go back and rewatch that part. Or of you have specific questions I can answer them here.

So if I buy a ODB2 to USB cable, and connect to my laptop, I can then tune my truck through a tuning software? after I read and write the stock ECU files?
Not necessarily. The Windows version of LS Droid might be able to, but I've never used it. I modified the tune on PC, but read and wrote the tune via Bluetooth on my phone
Subscribed! this is an amazing video! One thing i eread somebody say they bricked their ecu doing this, is a easy to do that or maybe the person just did something wrong?
I've only heard of that if the battery dies while doing it. But, there's a ground pin inside the PCM case that you can ground while booting up the PCM and it will "unbrick" it. I've actually used that process once to save one that I screwed up.
