A unique interview, nice to hear his perspective. Something you might want to explore as you appeal to retirees. I am 66, a lot of what I see in other men around me is their sense of entitlement, regardless of social economic status and they are spoiled. No ability to comprehend what is actually important in their lives. Stuck on possessions.

Sounds like he has a good career that can lead to him living there in the PI. Either working there or as a home base as a transient worker going where he is needed. Wish him luck.

I appreciate your love and deep understanding of the Philippines as a country and our culture. If you are looking into bringing your career to the Philippines, there are many international production companies on the country. Bigfoot Entertainment (Florida) also has production studios in Cebu. I believe it's also a school where you can possibly teach.

Opposite situation to Tim Tebow (former NFL quarterback) who are of missionary family as well....born in the Philippines but grew up in the states but he and family maintained their connections throughout the years, coming back from time to time checking out on the schools and orphanages they had established.

He has a Christian foundation there. My Pastor way back in New York he grew up as well in the Philippines and with missionaries parents. He said he didn’t want to leave the Philippines but he has too, to go to college here in the US. His parents never left the Philippines and died in the Philippines as missionaries.

Figure out whether you’re the urban or rural type, figure out your budget, do your research, then come out here and check it out. Hopefully, you’ll like it because IT’S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES. 😁😁😁🙏🙏 ☮️☮️ ❤️❤️
