I wish I had the mental calmness of a man like this. I’ve never been cheated on, but I would be so furious, and explain it with emotion. Good for him for being stable
I can relate to a lot of his life. I was also an adjuster that became a public adjuster. Similar experiences with first two wives. Met the love of my life, a filipina and we celebrate our 13 year anniversary today. My motto is Carpe deim. Life is short so go for it and experience things.
Nice of this person he can remembered his younger days ,have a nice day sir , I'm watching your vlogs everyone has honest and sincere if they gave their answers of all you questions to them .
I will be patiently waiting for part 2.🤔🤗😎👍👍 you do the best interviews on RUclips..👍👍👍👍 that guy covered a lot of territory in a short time and it was all interesting and entertaining👍 👌 thanks..👍👍👍🤗😎👌👌👍👍
This brings back memories. I grew up in California and in college (1977-1982) we use to take Napa trips, sometimes with our bicycles. Back then the "tasting" at the end was free. Now, they charge. My kids tell me "thanks for ruining it for us" lol.
Try to visit our island here.Romblon Romblon Philippines.. From Manila Philippines to Batangas then batangas to Romblon Romblon its peaceful place. We celebrate our Festival evrry second sarurday of january.. Injoy!! Hav a good day
Im glad he quit smoking… i just read an article, about a 90 y/o woman ,who still works at Costco full time. She stated “ if you are happy and enjoying what you are doing, why would stop doing it?”
Hi Mark I have been watching your channel for a long time. This time I totally relate to your guest. He is like the brother I never had. We are same age...😮 I'm coming over in May/ June. I need to meet you and maybe an interview and also need to meet your guest and hopefully become friends.😮 I would telephone him if I had his details. I totally relate to him.. like looking in a mirror. I hope we meet this time. I need to work out how to get to Dumegete from Bangkok. Catch you later Cheers Allan Sydney Oz🎉
Love it! An ole hippie but not a hippie! I'm sure he must have stayed at a few of my father's campgrounds...United Campgrounds in the 70's. Might have even known Dad, for that matter! Great interview, Mark, as always!
Interesting that he mentioned 3 wives. They did wrong. That tells a lot about him. He's made some poor choices. And I'm wondering if half of what he's saying is tue. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.
Look up Scottys new video. Mark wouldn't meet him after he made a special trip to Dumaguete for the interview. Scotty has left so, no interview. Maybe Sunshine Shoulders will interview him.
I think that is the magic about your show....just average everyday people....well sometimes a bit special and unique/unaverage...thanks again for bringing every mans story
A really great interview! Him and I have alot in comen ..... Married and divorced 3 times...... Two daughters..... About the same age... Hope you can get him back for another interview! I'm landing in Davao on May 5th..... Never coming back! I've been to the Philippines 4 times.... And been married to 2 Filipinas..... Think I've finally found the right one! I have a New Family waiting for me there in Davao! Like to meet you someday? You might even want to interview Me? Take Care!
Welcome, stay safe and be smart though we're not perfect but we always welcome visitors with a smile n precautions to take care as always. Again welcome. Nice video 👍
Mark......What are you going to do here in the Philippines ?.... Bob..... I am going to meet a woman, buy a house and give it to her when we separate.......Great interview Mark, your most interesting yet. Unllike some of your guests I believe all this guys stories.
Spot on with the language barrier. It is a real barrier! I lived in Vietnam for 7 years and was just able to order in cafes. After being in Vietnam again, this time for almost 1 year I'd done with not being able to undersand what's going on around me or needing a translator just to function. It's too much work. I'm flying to Cebu in three days and am so looking forward to the Philippines this tour.
Another great interview. I like to hear more why they left the US, pros / cons there and the Philippines and is it a struggle leaving family / friends behind? Thanks
It's amazing the people you get to know over there, Mark. But I guess it's to be expected that most guys doing the leap of faith of going to another country to live, won't be your mainstream neighbor anyways.
Wow! Scotty (Regular Guy) traveled to Dumaguete soley for an interview with you, and you stood him up (more than once). You say you have a hard time finding people to interview, I think I see why.
I heard you say, in another interview, that you've had heart bypass surgery. I take medication for that. Is the continuing medication available and affordable in Philippines?
Do you know all this skipping around to all these countries and everything is done with the exception of when he was an insurance adjuster in America he never really explained how he made his income throughout his whole entire life even up to the point to where he lives now in the Philippines he never explained where he got his income from throughout his whole entire life up to this point I mean does he collect Social Security? Did he put a lump sum in the investments he’s living off of dividends it seems like he’s had an exciting life but I’d like to know how the hell he paid for it
I totally agree with the statement regarding Thailand. If you recommend against it for men in their 60’s and 70’s SAY WHY!! Many of us are here desperately in search of hard information. Not a candy ass rated G interview. Mark needs to rein in guys like this who go way off task repeatedly. We got a lot more detail about a very boring motorhome trip throughout the U.S. and Canada with his then wife and kid than the 15 years he spent in a Thailand hotspot. No wonder we will need a Part 2 with all of this disjointed rambling. Part 3, 4, 5.......
He was basically a really nice sweet guy maybe a little bit lonely and had absolutely no problem taking liberty with the embellishments and and my BS detector is broken now and needs recalibrated Best of luck to him
If you are a Brit and you retire to Thailand you will not receive your annual state pension increase, in the Philippines you will....that's why I chose the Philippines..
Awesome
"🎉We had a nice Christmas then kicked her out the next day"!!!!!classic!!!!

What a truly truly amazing man...
worth his weight in gold,
a blessing to listen to his story 🤞
man this guy does not stress at all. He just rolls with the punches and a new door opens up for him like he says. Interesting character
I remember when I was in 7th grade and Disney World opened in Florida. ( 1972 )
This dude is awesome! Lived a full life and experienced so much! Awesome!!!
This was a great interview Mark! Bob is a character and I enjoyed listening to him. Perhaps you'll do another interview in the future with Bob.
This guy lived the life and still is!! I'm jealous! I need to ketchup on living and I plan to retire early this year and do so!!
Great show Mark! I love listening to stories from guys like Bob. What an interesting guy! Love the show!
I put this on to hear a sweet docile story to go to sleep to, now that's it's over I am wide a awake going "What??!" And ready to live life!
Right dude has done it all
“Invest in memories”, great philosophy. I would love to chat with this man someday. Fan from NYC.

Good stories. 75 and still going nice. 😊
I would have to say this is one of the most diverse interviews ever, this dude has done it all
I’m playing in Mexico right now but planning to return to the states soon. Around end of September go to the Philippines.
Must have a part 2 so fascinating
He is straight up with his past,no sugar coating.
I liked his story.
Love it! An ole hippie but not a hippie!
I'm sure he must have stayed at a few of my father's campgrounds...United Campgrounds in the 70's. Might have even known Dad, for that matter!
Great interview, Mark, as always!
I enjoyed this interview. Looking forward to part 2.
Interesting interview . Loved it 👍🏾
Interesting and funny
Interesting that he mentioned 3 wives. They did wrong. That tells a lot about him. He's made some poor choices. And I'm wondering if half of what he's saying is tue. I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.
Where is Scotty boy interview? I was looking forward to it.
Look up Scottys new video. Mark wouldn't meet him after he made a special trip to Dumaguete for the interview. Scotty has left so, no interview. Maybe Sunshine Shoulders will interview him.
Great interview hearing about his interesting life. Hopefully will see an interview with Scotty Boy soon
He seems like a really interesting dude! would be great to sit down with him for a few beers and listen to the stories :)

I personally would preferred a Scottie boy interview but I must admit after watching this, this fella is a bit of a champ. 👍🏻
Another great interview. I like to hear more why they left the US, pros / cons there and the Philippines and is it a struggle leaving family / friends behind? Thanks
That dude has charisma 👍
I want to be like him when I grow up.
Mark , another good value blog
I did all those fun activities too....horse riding....all the good stuff.
It's amazing the people you get to know over there, Mark. But I guess it's to be expected that most guys doing the leap of faith of going to another country to live, won't be your mainstream neighbor anyways.
So true
Wow! Scotty (Regular Guy) traveled to Dumaguete soley for an interview with you, and you stood him up (more than once). You say you have a hard time finding people to interview, I think I see why.
😳
Disney world opened in 1971 I believe- I went there as a kid in 1972 with My family when I was 12
I was thinking of Disneyland in California 1955
@@everymanhasastory yes sir
Another great interview 👍
welcome to PI sir
Florida?:.... so you'll adapt with no problem in the philippines... same heat 🤪
Yes Napa Valley winery tours, a must.
Love the attitude, great video
Glad it is open today.
Without his tremendous good luck & happenstance, does anyone think this guy would already be dead or on skid row somewhere??
No such thing as retirement. Just a redirection of energies. Good health is important though.
Amazing
Another great video!
Do a follow up, one of the more interesting characters you have featured
God bless you
You should interview Scotty from the you tube channel “Regular Guy “ . He’s funny .
that’s my grandpa
YES 💪Onto his next Adventure in Life ❤ Can’t wait till we hear this journey next in person 🤙 YOLO
Party in Thailand, retire in Philippines...got it! I guess I am not ready to retire! LOL
You can do both in Angeles city or Makati Phils.
This Guy is Funny !
I am gonna time my move soo late in life I just want to be buried there... so I guess my question is can a dead body get a Visa?
😂
Funny 😁
Its better to cremate n easy to carry without visa..
Never to late it's better to hire a companion to take care of you rather than spend d rest of your like in a convalescent
Good story , but also a sad story,....! 😮
I heard you say, in another interview, that you've had heart bypass surgery. I take medication for that. Is the continuing medication available and affordable in Philippines?
I want to go with this guy to a casino......or better yet be partners in Lotto tickets

He will fit right in here in the Philippines 😊

It all started with the pound of weed! Lol😂😂
Sounds like too many personal problems, but overcame them, apparently.

It’s easy to criticize until you are the interviewer; where is your channel? Just as I thought!
@@edwardgriffin6042 having your own channel is not a prerequisite to common sense or the ability to offer constructive criticism.
why is Thailand not good for guys in their 60's?
If you are a Brit and you retire to Thailand you will not receive your annual state pension increase, in the Philippines you will....that's why I chose the Philippines..
For me Thailand is not really safe for an expat cause they have borderlines n can easily envade by other intruders
talker......looks like Phil Donahue...sort of
LoL.
He seems confused. He's stuck on 1967,1972,1973.....must be the pot.
Hmmmm 🤔 😅
