That was the greatest RKO ever. Yes the Shooting Star into the RKO was first and awesome. But nothing beats the Curb Stomp into the RKO. It was also perfectly done I the daylight at Wrestlemania and Wrestlemania 31 was under the hot sun of California. Thankfully the match was done in the daytime so it was beautifully captured because while in night it would be fine it wouldn't have looked as great as it did in the day.
It is definitely in the top 2 or 3 of greatest R K O S . The height that seth got and the pin point accuracy with randy to hit the RKO in that heat props to both men ridiculously well executed
I will never ever forget that RKO! Wrestlemania 31 was the first WWE event I went to see in person and Levi stadium went crazy seeing Rollins cash in his Money in the Bank contract.
How great was that ending?! Stadium went wild. Even though Brock & Roman had a weak build, they really brought it in the match 👊🏻 And the first-time cash-in DURING a match by Seth (main event of Mania, no less), was wonderful 👌🏻
The reason Rollins doesn’t remember or recall his moments in the ring isn’t because of CTE or memory loss or anything of that sort. It’s because when hes giving us these legendary matches, he’s locked in. In the zone. On that mat. Like, I don’t mean to glaze too much, but it’s just so fascinating to hear about it- when someone is so good at what they do, a professional athlete reaching his flow state performing at his peak as he gives the crowd something to remember- yet he, himself, can’t think much back on it. It just goes to show what level these guys are on and the work they put in to get there. Mad respect.
Also fun fact did you know joey mercury has a pro wrestling school that seth Rollins trained at but that wrestling school is in Colorado pretty fun fact
Idk I think Seth and Randy has Sydal and Randy beat. Like don't get me wrong Sydal is a fantastic worker but the way they set this spot up was so much better.
@@SamuelDuplessis12Sydal is better because they did it on the fly no rehearsal at all while with Seth he tried to practiced it multiple times but he failed until the match in WM
Not surprising from what he would’ve seen it would’ve looked like either nothing or shit from his viewpoint so to him it wouldn’t of been that memorable
Incoming all the comments now about how Joey Mercury is "underrated" or that he deserves his "flowers." You guys need to stop romanticizing everything.

just broke my monitor
That Curb Stomp into the RKO will forever live rent free in my mind
The best thing Seth did was take a Diamond Cutter from that jobber.
in mine too
Charge rest of the thoughts..
#millionaire
That rko was legendary
And the story behind it is proof of Orton elitism and entitlement. Second generation trash to the end.
@@taipao6661cry me a river will you. What are you five years old?
The way Seth gives credit to Joey Mercury inside and outside the ring was absolutely gem ❤️
Joey mercury was also in the straight edge society man he is a legend fr
and part of the stable MNM teaming with John Morrison/Johnny Nitro and Melina
@@legionevo1137 Yup.
The best RKO ever. Thank you Joey Mercury!

props to mercury for pushing him to make it happen

1:23 Knowing Randy, I don't think Orton said,"screw it".
I think Orton said the F-word.
Their Wrestlemania match was an underrated classic

The greatest RKO of all time

I’d still put the Evan Borne RKO spot over this one, but this is definitely top 5!
Their feud was underrated
#1 RKO OF ALL TIME
That’s a damn anime move 😂
That was one of the most memorable WrestleMania moments of the past 10 years
That RKO counter was so good it became the standard reversal to Seth's stomp in WWE games ever since 🫠
That RKO was the modern day toss of the cage it was insane to see
Saw this live in Santa Clara.
What a moment!
& the cash-in at the end of the night was the cherry on top 🍒
The Hardy twist of fate RKO was clean
In my view the best best mania of the modern era. Stacked roaster , quality matches, and THAT finish
I remember that i want Seth to win so bad. But after that rko i was "ok, that was insane, give it to orton".
I mean it was over at that point lol
That and the Evan Bourne one will always be the greatest
I was there when it happened. It was an epic WrestleMania moment. Especially seeing it live.
This is my favorite channel
Love Seth Rollins been a fan since Tyler black roh
That was the first mania I watched and genuinely all I remember from it are this, the cash-in, and Rusev entered on a tank.
G-ds last gift still one of my fav finishers
He was WM 31’s MVP
Also fun fact did you know joey mercury has a pro wrestling school that seth Rollins trained at but that wrestling school is in Colorado pretty fun fact
I was there! My first and only WrestleMania so far!!
I’m glad I can say I was there :))))
2:12 anyone else notice when he sayd “grand finale” it sounds almost like becky’s accent. 😂
The story behind it is what makes it the best rko ever
Im so glad i got to see it in person
Watching is live i was just as hyped as Randy
I will always be a diamond cutter over rko guy but god damn was that the BEST RKO ever!
2:35 lol dude goes crosseyed trying to rethink what happened
Amazing RKO
Yes even before the match with the Undertaker Randy didn't show up 😂😂
Man this rko is great don’t get me wrong. But the one on Evan Bourne when he is doing the shooting star is by far the craziest
It is the undisputed best rko ever
Shout outs to Mercury!!!
The clip makes it sound like Orton was lazy to practice, but it could be that he was already trying to protect his back
I knew that they were gonna do that move but I had no idea how awesome it was gonna be. They nailed that thing. Best finish of a wrestling match ever.
I thought for sure they were going to go with the Phoenix Splash into RKO.
But Stomp into RKO was a much safer and smarter call
“I knew that they were gonna do that move” said everyone all the time. 😂😂😂
I want to know what that back-up plan was.
Curious as to what the backup plan was...
man.. i was there
But did Seth Rollins help Joey Mercury when his house was about to be foreclosed, or was it someone else... can't remember.?
He pulled a Bret-at-Mania-X: lost the opening match on the card, left as champion in the main event.
Yes. By far.
It’s up there but Evan’s Air Bourne into the RKO beats it.
Evan Bourne & Orton = best RKO ever
Idk I think Seth and Randy has Sydal and Randy beat. Like don't get me wrong Sydal is a fantastic worker but the way they set this spot up was so much better.

Agreed, there's so many things that can go wrong with that RKO, and Evan sold the move beautifully.
@@annie_Ieonhart *Sydal*
@@SamuelDuplessis12Evan better
He was in the air & don’t remember it through his own eyes.. damn
Not surprising from what he would’ve seen it would’ve looked like either nothing or shit from his viewpoint so to him it wouldn’t of been that memorable
@ he’s 8 foot up staring down at Randy waiting to grab his neck 🤣 that’s something to remember
'Seth Rollins' looks and sounds annoyed at being alive. Every conversation he has is a complete drag
Good RKO, but not the greatest. It was a bit hokey for my liking.
He got one Wrestlemania moment that night! Getting worldstared like that is not a Wrestlemania moment!
evan bourne rko was better
I'm on my way to the WWE 2030 yall will know my name
