This guy nailed it. Motivation videos are selling you a product, a good feeling. They want and need you to keep coming back. The irony is that, unlike other free advice, motivational videos generally have very very good, tried and true advice, for free! They don't work for 98% of people though, because again they are just good feelings and motivation, they don't actually get your work done for you. What do you typically do after watching a motivational video? You watch another motivational video! Sometimes you binge watch motivational videos? Why? If the first one had good advice then wouldn't that be all you need to turn off RUclips and go and crush your tasks? The truth is, all those videos are is emotion, and once you've watched 3 or 4 motivational videos you've seen them all. You already know the information. IF you already know the info and you are STILL on RUclips everyday searching for motivational videos, then it's not motivation or technique that you're searching for. What you are searching for is a way to MAKE you do the work, and I'll save you the time and effort right now. Only your internal drive will make that happen, not an external video. The question is how much more suffering and lost opportunities will it take? Do you think people who are successful watch motivational videos? No, they don't. If they ever have done then it was probably for a very short time and then they stopped because they were too busy crushing it. If you have time to watch motivational videos, and you have already watched motivational videos, then motivational videos are NOT working for you! Do you want to know what will work for you? Three simple words. You already know them. Everyone knows them. They are the essence of all motivational video messages. The three words are "JUST DO IT". I wanna be great cause i know there is this greatness inside of me but i have two conflicting ideas. One tells me to be content and the other wants me to work hard and become a prodigy. I want to pick the second choice. I know if i let this greatness inside of me lay dormant it will one day turn into a ragging violent loathing for myself and everything in life and i dont want that.
