This came out the Summer of 98..i still remember that Summer like it was yesterday. She benefited from being in The Fugees...she was the dopest MC out of the group..you could definitely see her potential for going solo and when she did she created one of most monumental albums of my generation that is STILL respected and adored to this day.

This came out 1998. Her solo career is way better than her career with the Fugees which is also amazing. Her splitting with the group was caused by her relationship with Wyclef Jean which ended badly due the fact that he also had a wife.
