  • Just a small video based on my journey dealing with Akathisia. I explain to the best of my knowledge the causes, and how I’ve managed to work my way through while dealing with the powerfully uncomfortable sensations. Akathisia is generally misdiagnosed as anxiety, and patients are forced to endure this neurological condition alone, without support or guidance. To anyone out there watching, please don’t give up, healing is progressive and you’ll reach your final destination of true healing ❤️‍🩹 in time.

I overcame akathesia once before. It took a while but it eventually faded to a point where i could accept it and would forget about it occasionally if i was busy, then after that it faded until it was gone. This process did take a few years and there were some rebounds along the way. I would not wish this condition on my worst enemy.

Thank you for this video. I can empathize with you. I developed akathisia 8 years ago from Xanax withdrawal. I’ve been dealing with it since then. I have not been able to work, and am really struggling at uni. I have found it next to impossible to get help for it. Psychiatrists just don’t believe us, they say it cannot last more than a few weeks. I’m slowly on the mend. Akathisia is a special kind of hell.

Thanks for posting this. I am in the same boat. It started after coming off Escitalopram (SSRI) five years ago. I feel like crawling out of my skin. I have: brain zaps, inner restlessness, zapping/crawling sensation under my skin, severe fatigue, sense of impending doom, difficulty concentrating, difficulty doing normal activities, eg, driving, some anxiety, zero motivation. It is truly hideous, and made worse by the fact that doctors and others don't understand or appreciate it. I find low grade exercise like walking can help a tiny bit, as can propranolol, but not a whole lot. It has really wrecked my life. I hope you are doing well and seeing some improvement in your condition.

Hey Matthew I’m very sorry about this. I really hope in time you can see some improvements 🙏. Yeah you’re right, the worst thing about this is that no one who hasn’t experienced this will believe you or really want to understand what’s happening to you. It’s criminal how these doctors dispense these drugs with no informed consent, and get away with it. Thanks very much 😊. The reason I post these videos is to raise awareness, and represent those who are in the same boat. All the best man 💪

I got my Akathisia from a Paliperidone injection, a jump from 75 dose to 150 which apparently is normal? I developed symptoms within a week. Worst feeling I have ever endured.. I honestly didn't think I would get better. It took me a full year for the inner restlessness to go away which is the true hell we face. I lost my job back in 2019, and have been a mess ever since.
I'm lucky in some way that the main symptoms have gone, but you still don't feel 100%.. moving forward but there is hope depending your health & age! It really can change you as a person if you survive, I can tell people would get suicidal with this because it's a very hard fight, I had to be hospitalised quite a few times since and I have developed a burning throbbing ache in my calves as a result.. doctors don't know what it is..
Honestly drinking alcohol and listening to music all throughout 2020 is what helped me get through it, especially smoking weed to a degree.
How frustrating is it? The longer your in the system for, the better doctor you become. I theorise psychiatrist know about these side-effects, but don't mention it because they will be without a job!
Your not alone man, I will be uploading a podcast soon of my experience and creating more of a voice here in Australia to change our view on mental health treatment!

I developed akathisia and body tremors after I got off Xanax and it was literally hell ,to make matters worse I was also floxed by ciprofloxacin which I took when I was on Xanax .Imagine the moment you woke up and couldn't control yourself and feeling the need to start walking involuntarily from morning till sunset for 8 hours every single day ,and the feeling derealization and depersonalisation that makes you feel the world isn't real at all. The only thing I could do after sunset was lying on my bed staring at my room ceiling and cry. I almost tried to end my life because I was feeling so suicidal,am back on valium and zoloft ,Lyrica and I feel a lot better least I could stop the akathisia but this time I'm going to take it slowly to taper it off. Akathisia from what I found out is the loss of dopamine neurons that regulates movement and motivation, and guys stay away from fluoroquinolone antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin , levaquin and avelox, they will make you feel like life is in hell X 10 times worse off than any drugs you have ever take with the possibility of permanent disability or even death.

    • @livingunderachemicalinflue5849
      @livingunderachemicalinflue5849  2 года назад +2

Thanks for your message. Yep, Akathisia is hell on earth, if you haven’t experienced it you wouldn’t believe it existed. Absolutely, definitely a correlation of down regulation of dopamine neurons, chemical imbalances within the brain caused by synthetic neurotoxins we’ve consumed. Slow tapering is the way to go, allowing the CNS system to stabilise, regulate at its own pace. I wish you the best in your healing journey.

You have to believe the healing is happening and will happen and eventually over time it fades away. The body is designed to heal itself it just takes putting your focus off the symptoms and rebuking them. I know the fear is the big problem it causes doubt and hesitation but you have to put away the fear and replace it by focusing on the light. If I can be honest mate everyday is a war, the affects are insane, head pain, dizziness, tinnitus, internal tremors, extreme fatigue, it’s like the drug has this psychological grip on your brain and doesn’t want to let it slip. I get these little glimpses of clarity, and confidence so I just hold on to these positive feelings and keep fighting. It might take me another 5 years to feel great again, and for that I won’t give up 💪💪I hope you see some improvement Anton, always here for a chinwag whenever you want to reach out mate 😊👍
Take care and keep fighting 👌

@@grv91vr23 hey man, unfortunately unable to work at this moment due to drug damage. I do have a lot of anger towards the medical establishment and pharmaceutical companies which know the dangers of the drugs they prescribe, but only care about profit margins. It’s quite sickening.
At the end of the day the best thing I can do is raise awareness around the topic, and help others in similar situations. This is the best way I cope and free myself from this very difficult and long road to healing, recovery.
      All the best mate 😎👌

Revelation9:21. Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
KJV Bible . Sorceries was translated from the Greek word , Pharma. Where pharmasutical comes from.

I believe this. The Bible says in the last days that "Pharmakeia" is what will be used to deceive the masses. I was certainly deceived by them and now I am in a situation identical to Coles. To see who is behind this all we only need to look a little harder at these institutions. Take the medical field for example. Why is the symbol for medicine the "staff of Hermes" with the two serpents intertwining. The staff of Hermes was the rod of the Greek god used as protection over "thieves" and "businessmen" or "commerce". It was also a symbol of alchemy. But to see who is really behind it just search a picture of the baphomet and look at the symbol that is depicted in his belly. It's the rod of Hermes. Pretty ironic. I always found it so eery that people while on these substances that experience hallucinations because of a psych drug often testify that they are demonic in nature. One testimony I remember hearing about was Jordan Petersons daughter who came off of an ssri and I remember she said she saw a demon on her brother. These things are most certainly a tool of the devil. But we know how it ends for him and the devil answers to God. One truth I remind myself of is "no weapon formed against me shall prosper". And I know this is true:
"Neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus" Romans 8:38-39
