A good use for this type of films (extremely low ISO), is long exposures in places with a lot of people. Places that are near to impossible photography without people during the day. In the morning (or early evening), with side lighting, closed aperture, and several seconds of exposure. No people but the place empty. Like ND filter whitout filter 😅

That's a really good point! Hadn't even thought about that. And I feel like most low ISO film I've seen is almost always B&W, so could be a good alternative to capturing these places with color. Thanks for that nugget of insight.

@@BrocktonAndersonanother step in similar direction is to emulate Alexey Titarenko. Pictures of people as a crowd not identifiable as individuals.

I would be interested to see how this film would render colours if an 85b filter was used. One stop of light would be lost adding to the challenge to shoot it, but something tells me it might in theory get a more natural look.

I always wondered how the earliest photographers dealt with the very low film sensitivity available at the time. Now I know. The tripod - world’s greatest invention after the wheel and pillows. Great video as always. I think you’re a tad bit harsh about the film, because washed out colours have their charms. But then, have never been a fan of Polaroid. This for me is Polaroid without the pretension.
