The fact they were initially compared to Pearl Jam, particularly, Scott to Eddie, was an absolute affront. Give me Core/Purple over anything PJ put out throughout their career. I'll never forget the feeling I got growing up when I first discovered STP and the fact that it still resonates within.
100% correct. PJ are ok and had their place in the 90s. But Eddie can’t hold a candle to Scott. AIC are right up there too tho. Layne in his prime was astounding.
@@tupu_683 I got tickets to see STP and Smashing Pumpkins in August. I was skeptical to see STP without Scott but I watched some live performances of recent with Jeff singing and I was sold.
I got to see him in 2010 when they had him back for a short stint... it was magical. Truly. They finished with an encore of Roadhouse Blues by The Doors. My 2 best friends and I went and got dragged to near the front row by a big drunk partying bearded guy who had taken a liking to us. nobody dared to challenge us passing them with basically Hodor leading us to the front. To top it off, the guy was also reaching out and grabbing people's beers and handing them to us, looking at us with a friendly, but also stern look that said "drink". We got to the spot he wanted us to be able to see the band at, and stayed around for a while, before saying he was going for more beer. We didn't end up seeing him again, but we stayed in our now amazing spots for the show and experienced STP with Scott Weiland at the helm. It was a night I'll never forget.
Saw them in 1996 on purple tour at Louisville Gardens with wife and some friends. General admission. Got up to front. Crowd went ballistic. Top of their game. Best concert ever. Cheap Trick opened. 11 out of 10.
"Unglued" is a 1994 promo single from Stone Temple Pilots' second album Purple. It was performed live on the Late Show with David Letterman in December 1994. This is the last song Scott Weiland performed before he died.
@@Granite_Offroad Ouch not the smartest guy in the room .....the 1st sentence is about the video......the last sentence states it was the last song he sang before he died LATER.....but ok..
Hey TheSteven111...Thanks for posting this song. It's such a cool song! I was trying to find it with the lyrics, but it seems impossible. Anyway, I appreciate all the videos you found for me. It's going on seven months and I still can't get enough.
These men are one of the MANY reasons I wish I was born in the 80's/90's. The music of my generation SUCKS with stupid rap music. Let me tell you, I'd choose this over any 2010's hip-hop crap. RIP Scott :(
This song is great! It looks like (but is not a copy of) something from Nirvana. Again I say that it is not a copy, but a reference. And great reference. Interestingly, while Scott and Dean are visually "rebellious", in the background we have Erick and Robert looking like well-behaved young men. For these and other reasons, STP made (and still makes) a difference. I'm from Brazil. I ❤STP.

Ya Pearl Jam blows
@@subhashxrecord3131 What? Can you explain what you’re trying to say with that weird comment?
@@subhashxrecord3131 Awwww word?!
I like you.👍😎
Absolutely pearl jam can’t touch STP none of those 90 bands could except Alice In Chains. And they were second
Good old days. When a badass song such as Unglued was a radio single.
Yeah, and the real Scott Weiland!!
This is why I love the 90s... Mixing up styles and causing confusion with high quality riffing and top performances
Hopefully the coming generations bring about something similar. Sick of this liberal, PC, indie bullshit.
Scott was liberal indie bullshit in his day.
@@autopsy3689when my thoughts become my biggest fear…
Yeah what a classic haha
And.... ACTUAL TALENT
Beautifully put ...so what happened?... Todaaze offerings are just......uhhh...😞
Damn, this is STP at the top of their game. They sound amazing
That intro was priceless 😂
yeah...
Lettermen always had the good ones on his show
Him and Conan actually.
Scotts live singing, dance moves and the intensity of the guitars and drums is everything ❤❤
love how scott is so feminine and masculine at the same time
what do you love about that?
Hes super gay and i love it
That’s called being androgynous hon 🫶
The best singers alalways are
Should see his cock.😮
Yes, Scott was a crooner too god damn it. 😂 love seeing his James Brown moves again, iconic frontman; miss him in music, so much.
One of my favorite live versions of this song. I wish I got to see STP with Scott 😢
Have you seen them live with Jeff? I'd say he does Scott justice. I honestly kept thinking it was Scotty up there.

Insane energy. What a great performance
Scott right up there with the greatest frontmen.
I miss Scott so much. He inspired me for decades.
I watched this with my family. I was confused by the beginning, my parents by the rest of the song.
Are they 100?
Me too I thought the video title was inaccurate lol
Love that old school guitar sound in the beginning
Me too! Wish they had played with that sound more
Dean always had the best guitar tones 🤘
Do you know what guitar he uses?
The DeLeo brothers....tone for DAYS
Facts
Man the DeLeos are awesome so incredible musicians
Gosh yes.the bands of that era and after.they are head and shoulders above.they can do it all.
This is badass.
That moves though, it's one of a kind!
James Brown.
That James Brown-type footwork. No band from this era comes close to STP
that time you slipped and almost busted your ass on live tv….but played it off and ended up face to face with your brother like you’re 15 again 1:18
I was hoping someone else appreciated that 😂
Played that shit off like a pro though, and never dropped the beat. 😂
Scott’s moves 🕺
Awesome
Damnit I miss you Weiland you crazy rock n roll bastard
They are fucking awesome... studio or live...RIP Scott...damn I wish you were still here rockin brother!
one of the best scott performances of all time
One of the best voice as live performances in my opinion, rip scotty
2024?
That shimmy dance my God 😮 Scott was a front man through and through. RIP brother you are missed every day.

The 90s' was the decade that brought in attitude and edge into music, along with some shock factor. I miss that decade.
Sic tune..this 1 & Trippen are 2 of my favs...man Weiland could sing
That drumbeat is like a full force kick in the face, incredible
Scott had almost James Brown moves
Very unique and with tuns of music stylès my fave for now
One of my favorite tunes! Gets you pumped up!
0:58 that little move scott did was amazing
So good. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
that drummer😍

This is the healthiest Scott ever looked and he sounded just like the studio, no autotune
Gorgeous man SW❤😊
Just such a great rock band

Who's listening to this song in Christmas?
Merry Christmas 🧨 🤯
What a talent
Dean with the All time Save from hell. That could have been bad.
Dang, how can a 4 piece band sound so FULL
Suprised this hasn’t been taken down yet. YT is doing a big copyright sting for STP performances.
Yeah what’s up with that? I noticed these were gone from my likes and thought they were gone forever
Rest in peace Scott Weiland😢
This song basically sums up the ‘90s.

The Scott shuffle is fucking sweet
You can definitely hear how Chester was influenced by Scott in this performance
Check out Robert Wright STP covers
You want to learn some fun guitar riffs … well take your pick they have a huge selection
