tiny music is an album that has only gotten more brilliant with the passing of time, the pinnacle of scott weilands vocals and the deleo brothers brilliance! RIP scott!
@@zakrowe1301 yeah, from a creativity and songwriting aspect as well as very original sounding, id say that they peaked with tiny music for sure. i love all their albums, but tiny music will always be my favorite. even the slower, jazzier and weirder moments on the album are brilliant, it's just really cool....
a truly magic performance. old sad eyes weiland could turn it on when he wanted. dean's tone is nothing short of crushing. Robert = the cool. Eric is some sort of animal. tasty how he times those very sparse, very enormous crashes. these guys. catch the excellent moment at the end, right before outro? Scott was court ordered to go to therapy as part of a sentence. Unsubstantiated that in talking with the therapist about why he started using drugs a repressed traumatic memory resurfaced which escalated his drug use. Some say that some artists derive their creativity from their pain. Awesome talent.
Rob dragging his feet working his way forward at the end. Priceless! Also...what would the house band be thinking watching these crazy innovators bang bangin' and crash crashn' all over the stage? Probably...what galaxy where they deposited from?

One of the sickest riffs ever
Yeah. Sounds easu, but your fretting hand cramps up playing this. Constantly moving, fluid riff.
One of my favorite albums
I generally can’t stand STP. Not my shit, but this song does rip.
dean's a fucking legend
they all are for certain but you get it

Yes..💯..🔥🔥🔥🔥
I agree! I remember having this album in high school. Amazing band
They need to be inducted to the rock and roll hall of fame.
YES
Howard Stern matched your opinion 2 weeks ago.
yes absolutely 100%
Cannot understand why
The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is run by a bunch of egotistical people who think they know who deserves to get into the Hall of Fame.

it was brilliant then and now.
I got this album day 1 when it came out when I was on a High School art trip. My friends all said it wasnt good. I then knew they were all posers.
@@bigbromiki1
Same, people were saying this album was a big step down, and I was like damn, I can't stop listening to this.
I've always felt tiny music was their peak. They got progressively better with core and purple then progressively worse from 4 onwards

These boys and Sound Garden were my top bands of the 90's
I put Alice in chains first then Soundgarden and then STP
You’d think you’d know how to spell one of your top bands.
No disagreement there. Soundgarden was a formidable force. And Chris Cornell could peel the paint off walls.

Paul Shaeffer's band loved this riff and played it as bumper music during commercial breaks up until the end of The Late Show IIRC.
really?

On the contrary, this is the only way to describe such awesome powerful music.

That's how good bands "talk" on stage. A nod could mean a bunch of things. A smile is always good.
Frontman in the encyclopedia has Weiland's pic
At the time I didn’t realize just how great this band was. Man we’re starving for this kind of muscular rock music nowadays 🤙🏿
Holy crap,,soooo awesome,,Scott's vocals were on point! What a cool ass original 🎵
R.I.P. Scott Weiland... You magnificent bastard!
Scott looking just about not dead and not for sale. Still pissing over anything performing today.
Stp's drummer was and is a beast. Amazing, he is!
Yes he is great. I love his powerful fluid yet loose feel
Scott was just too cool for this world #rip
Drug addict😂😂😂😂😂😂
one of their best songs!!! most underrated song for sure
Real Rock Stars
Scott Weiland was a brilliant melody writer . Talented to be sure .
This is not an easy riff to sing over and make it so melodic and catchy!
Back in the day, I stayed up late just to see the alternative rock bands that performed on this show. It was worth it, too!
Me too.
My favorite album of theirs. Just a perfect one!
These late night performances we’re so epic for me growing up.
So so good. Scott looks buzzed AF, but he’s still gorgeous 😊
BIG BANG BABY!!! who makes music like this. STP that's who. Catchy, fun, rock!
They may have been the rock band with the most hits in the 90's?
My favorite bass sound ever this song has.
What bass
I had the privilege to see Scott perform in New Orleans 2004 with velvet revolver. Excellent show.
Same here . Montréal 2005 velvet revolver! What a frontman !!!!!
Velvet Revolver in Bologna, 2004. Stone Temple Pilots in Milano, 2010.
They were so f**kin cool. An amazing album too

Man, this track came out when I was a teenager. The lyrics are "prophetic"!
They sound amazing! 🔥
To this day this damn bass riff and song gets me moving whenever I hear it
Gorgeous talented man!
Legitim rock star. Period.
Love so too much STP

Awesome performance
This gives Bowie and Jagger. Damn his voice, and that riff is sick!!

their best song
I wouldn’t say their best song. It’s good but there are so many better ones

Exactly! Not much of an stp fan. But this song rocks! Came out when I was 12 and it rocked back then too!

His Bowie phase ❤️❤️❤️
Pretty much his entire career was his "Bowie phase", excluding the part where he managed to get clean.
Sounds more like Lennon.
Absolutely incredible.
what a great riff. so funky
He was so cool and talented. 😭
priceless video
He gives me Bowie...that's why I love him.
Masterpiece.
True showmen
Me doy cuenta que en plena cuarentena en 2020, después de mucho tiempo de no cortarme el pelo, tengo el mismo peinado de Scott Weiland.
Entonces tienes el peinado de una leyendaaa
can already see the effects of the heroin in 96
Scott rocking that 4 year old in a suit at a wedding look.
Thanks for the video!👍
one stylish dude
Quintessential front man
Slowed down a bit with a little more groove than the album version. His voice sounds fine. (Remember they said his voice was f'ed up from drugs?)
Makes me sad he couldn’t stay on this earth so his after years could be enjoyed
Love it 😀
They knocked it out the park here.

Fuck, the good old days were the best
From all bands Mr. Letterman had watched, STP migh be on top 3, or two.
Letterman also loved Pearl Jam!
The Riddlin' Kids were underrated.
My bad, the Kids were on Craig's show. Still awesome performance, though.

Scott still looks like himself here. From the end of 96-08 he looks like a totally different person, so frail and sickly looking.

Scott was High AF Here!
Those eyes are rolling hard!
I got a picture of a photograph
Of a wedding in a shell
It's just a burning ancient memory
I never kiss and tell
So turn it up and burn it
There's a hole in your head
There's a hole in your head
Where the birds can't sing along
Does anybody know how the story really goes?
How the story really goes?
Or do we all just hum along?
Sell your soul and sign an autograph
Big bang baby, it's a crash, crash, crash
I wanna cry but I gotta laugh
Orange crush mama is a laugh, laugh, laugh
Spin me up, spin me, spin me out
Station to station, send me up and out
Is this what life and love is all about?
I think, I think so
We used to see in color
Now it's only black and white
Yeah, it's only black and white
'Cause the world is color blind
Does anybody know how the story really goes?
How the story really goes?
Or do we all just hum along?
Sell your soul and sign an autograph
Big bang baby, it's a crash, crash, crash
I wanna cry but I gotta laugh
Orange crush mama is a laugh, laugh, laugh
Nothing's for free
Nothing's for free
Take it away boys
Nothing's for free
Nothing's for free
Take it away boys
So turn it up and burn it
