It took 3 two-truk operators and dozens of calls to Volvo On Call, and all 3 tow-truck operators thought they could get the XC60 into neutral, and even the trick that Volvo operators stated to the 3rd driver, did not allow the Volvo to stay in neutral, it kept defaulting back to lock, thus making this car extremely vulnerable in a situation that warrants pushing the vehicle to a safer spot (it will not move if the battery is dead, or the car won't start). The Dealership had to reboot the computer on the new XC60 with less than 80 miles in order to get the XC60 to start and for the keyless keys to work, and they had no logical explanation on why the Volvo would not start, other than it needed a software update....(my phone needs that about every two months). Volvo of Nashville owner/slash general manager refused to talk to me, thus we lost confidence and trust in the car and the dealership for this $67K vehicle. Volvo of Nashville now has possession of the 3 ton paper-weight and time ticking bomb of not starting, and we are in the process of trying to get our monies back. Be ware of this experience and we are still driving our 2011 Mercedes GLK w/ 127K miles which has never had a single car issue, other than having to reupholster the driver seat, and routine maintenance.

Volvo has a compelling lineup. Looks, power, cabin are top notch. Lack of CarPlay is a real issue for some buyers. I much prefer Carplay for media, phone, and map duties. Volvo (and Polestar) have been saying CarPlay is coming, but I would not feel comfortable leasing or purchasing on a promise. This is the same reason why I avoid Lexus.

In my humble opinion the Audi Q5 is built for those who want luxury, power, speed, accuracy and status. The Volvo XC60 is built for those who seeks comfort, fuel efficiency, safety and looks.
You are absolutely right, the Q5 model especially with 3 liters and 286 ps. they can't possibly compare! The Q5 is significantly better and of better quality, I've had it for a long time and never changed it for any model! On all terrains It is indisputable, whether the big climbs are slippery and muddy terrains, it is simply invincible! It does not lack comfort and is perfect for longer distances! Wondering it as well. I was thinking about buying it but something that is important to me is rescale value and maintenance cost. Around where I live, I see mostly BMW X3/X5 and Audi Q5, although there are some Volvos XC60.
On the Volvo forums, owners of 2022 Volvos are talking about how the GPS gives out frequently, and they're screaming that the Google OS in the infotainment screen is not ready for prime time...

I've had the 2022 T8 version for 5 months now and there have been zero errors with the screen and GPS.
Yesterday I did a test drive for a Lexus nx 450h in hybrid mode, and I was surprised that for the duration of the test the sound of the electric motors was annoying... Is this normal for the hybrid mode? Another thing I felt was that the suspension system is not quite as good as described in the videos because I I felt it concretely in the street potholes and light bumps. Besides in the volvo xc60 b5 mild hybrid test nothing of this felt no annoying sounds and good behaviour suspensions.
We have a 2012 XC60 and are thinking about getting a newer XC90. Do you have any thoughts on the fact that the newer models only come in a 4 cylinder? My hubs thinks it’s a dealbreaker-that a 4 cylinder even with turbo would be too sluggish on a heavy vehicle the size of the XC90- but I’d rather have another Volvo than anything else so I’m hoping the performance difference isn’t noticeable. Any thoughts?
I drive a XC90 D5 235 bhp and it's powerful enough for most situations, but keep in mind that XC90 is heavier and you can feel that if driving on uphill autobahn at 140 kmh and need to overtake it is struggling. Otherwise it's almost fast as a 320d bmw or a c220 Mercedes. Before buying the XC90 I was very interested in accelerating times, after a few 0-100 I just didn't care anymore, it is such a wonderful car , I like it more and feels better than a Mercedes S class( except for the acceleration) If your budget is unlimited you can chose the XC90 recharge and in that case you have a luxurious, comfy rocket .
My wife had an XC60 diesel 5 cylinder. Was good around capital city. But no service out of that. Unfortunately the electric fuel system let it down. I would get another if I didn't travel a 1000 k's away from capital city. Diesel would do the hole trip on one tank or close enough.
I was dead set on the 2023 GV70 3.5T Prestige, but my wife vetoed that idea. She views the GV70 as a wannabe pretender. (I don't agree, but I am not prepared to die on that hill.) I'm getting a 2023 XC60 B6 Ultimate instead. The one I picked out is optioned with the air suspension and the Bowers & Wilkens audio. So it's very comparable to the GV70 3.5T Prestige in terms of having all the bells and whistles, and with essentially the same MSRP. I think that both the GV70 3.5T Prestige and the B6 strike a nice balance between the German (precise) and Japanese (comfortable) offerings. Keeping my fingers crossed that Volvo has worked out some of the kinks (infotainment system, brake noise, etc.) that have soured some people to the XC60.
@@MsUpptaget, until this month, there was no app for Apple CarPlay. Thus, the iPhone could only use Bluetooth to make calls or play music. The numerous other apps, along with Siri, were not available.

About Orrefors history Glass jars for preservation were first manufactured in 19th-century Orrefors. When the social movements and the idea of "more beautiful everyday goods" took hold at the turn of the century, the artists Edward Hald and Simon Gate were invited to the mill. Immediately they create completely new objects with color and engraving. The results are spread around the world via exhibitions, in interiors and as objects of use. The glass from the forest in Småland will soon be unrivaled: This beats everything! Il n´y as que ca! it was proclaimed at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1925. More artists come to Orrefors, forms are refined and reconsidered. In the hot mass of glass there are endless possibilities - for those who master the skills. The glass that is created today is based on the knowledge generated over more than a hundred years. The very best designers now continue to enchant the world with the brilliance and beauty of glass. The story of the glass from Orrefors is still being written.

When talking about the rear seats, did you forget about the built in booster seat or have they removed those?
That’s a special seat order. Not in all volvos
love the backgroud. may i know whats the name of the white lights in ceiling?
Thanks for the video. Does it have a better resale value thatn Audi Q5 or BMW X3 ?
Wondering it as well. I was thinking about buying it but something that is important to me is rescale value and maintenance cost. Around where I live, I see mostly BMW X3/X5 and Audi Q5, although there are some Volvos XC60.
On the Volvo forums, owners of 2022 Volvos are talking about how the GPS gives out frequently, and they're screaming that the Google OS in the infotainment screen is not ready for prime time...
I've had the 2022 T8 version for 5 months now and there have been zero errors with the screen and GPS.
@ great to hear that!
How much power does the induction charger in this car have?
It's My type
Nice and suttle with a sweet sound system
In my country the crystal gear option was cut but the price are still x4 time
Can someone explain to me the difference between D, B and T in Volvo models?
Can we put 21” or 22” on 2022 Inscription expression on XC60 plug in hybrid T8 eawd ?
Yeah, Because it's a lot of safety stuff bro.
I need to see a video for XC90
Great cars ... until you want to trade in for next purchase ...
Is this VOLVO's new colour VAPOUR GREY?
Great review. This car really needs physical HVAC controls.
Complexity is not luxurious. And it's certainly less safe.
Keep your hands on the wheel and try using the very good voice command to control HVAC and many other functions. Problem solved.
Voice commands are lame: "Increase heat slightly, turn on defrost, and slightly decrease fan speed please."
Hi ACCELER8 Can You Make The 2022 Volkswagen Golf Gti Performance You Are My Nice RUclipsr
Before buying the XC90 I was very interested in accelerating times, after a few 0-100 I just didn't care anymore, it is such a wonderful car , I like it more and feels better than a Mercedes S class( except for the acceleration)
If your budget is unlimited you can chose the XC90 recharge and in that case you have a luxurious, comfy rocket .
Noisy air compressor means cheap. My LR is very quiet. If it is noisy, it needs to be replaced.
Hi Sir, can you please let me know where can I buy the lights that you have used in your ceiling. Thank you
when you said that it was turbo and supercharged, so it is twin charged?🤔
That’s an easier way of saying it yup
I thought that model has a bowers & Wilkinson audio option
My wife had an XC60 diesel 5 cylinder. Was good around capital city. But no service out of that. Unfortunately the electric fuel system let it down. I would get another if I didn't travel a 1000 k's away from capital city. Diesel would do the hole trip on one tank or close enough.
struggling between this and the gv70
Weakest point is by far, the new Android system… with the air suspension, it is really drives well and as sporty as a SUV may be ;)
Why is it a weak point?
@@SS-yw7vo, no Apple Car Play.
@@MsUpptaget, until this month, there was no app for Apple CarPlay. Thus, the iPhone could only use Bluetooth to make calls or play music. The numerous other apps, along with Siri, were not available.
Of course it's, No doubt 🧐🧐🧐
The way you touch things dude 😂
Let's jump into the screen look is priceless lol. Nice car, screen is way too dated for 2022. You didn't mention the price. Price is very important when doing a review.
Lmao are u joking? It’s one of the best screens in a car
Both screens are pretty much in line with any other manufacture.
You mean that tiny 6 inch screen? Lol That's old school. Not up to standard! Didn't you see him cringe when he mentioned the display? Lol
Hi, great vid, the only thing is the xc60 is made in China. So build quality is touch and go. Time will tell if it's been a good choice by Volvo.
Depends which market it’s being sold in, some XC60s are built in Sweden.
The screen isn't bad to use. It's like using a tablet and there are no buttons on a tablet. It's really no big deal.
I have this now, send help what’s the M+ button for lol, it’s a rental pleaseee lmk
About Orrefors history
Glass jars for preservation were first manufactured in 19th-century Orrefors.
Добрый день!

Вольво знают во всем мире -- они лучшие 👍👌
Both of you are 🔥. Always been a fan of Volvo ever since my first S90 back in 1995, and being Swedish American 🇸🇪. Feel VERY SAFE in a Volvo and the XC60 Inscription is my choice. That said, sadly, soon you’ll find an Audi Q4 EV in my garage because I’m done with internal combustion engine cars. Hopefully the XC60 will be fully EV by 2025 and then I’ll come back to you Volvo. 😊. P.S. I’m 5’11” so reaching the hood isn’t a prob for me. I’m also useful for decorating the top of the Xmas tree. Lmao 😂
Im working in Northvolt Labs in Sweden and we are producing batteries for cars and Volvo is our customer so in 2025 Volvo will have fully EV cars with the greenest batteries ;)
@@Antimatter.2123 how long do those xc60 batteries last? I live in finland and 2019-2018 cars are the most for my budget.
@@dreamtime6090 XC60 battery will often last between 3-5 years, but that depends on battery size, type of battery, weather conditions and driving habits. That model is not using our batteries now but it will in the near future and it will also last longer but im not allowed to give you more information about that yet.
Orrefors is a famous artistic glass manufacturer.
Don't like the car, but the video was very entertaining. looking forward to the next one.
Glad you enjoyed it thanks Paul!
