Stopping glasses getting smashed in an RV!

Here we have a very interesting concept from the German company Silwy which is designed to stop glasses rattling and ultimately smashed up. Few of us are happy to drink out of plastic but the risk of broken glass is usually enough to prevent us taking glass drinking vessels on a journey. This solution uses very strong magnets which prevents the glasses from touching each other. See more in the film!

Looks great in demo conditions - how does moisture on the glass ( condensation or spills ) affect the performance of the product ? Can' t see it being consistently sticky given the ravages of normal wear and tear; good demo though Alan.

Buy acrylic ones. Simples! I love the coasters though. Great idea.

I don’t think it would be wise to attach glasses outside of a cabinet, just what would happen in an impact or very hard stop
