    I’m low porosity so grapeseed oil with tea tree oil with rosemary and mint is my go too. I’m on a 6 month mini braids plus twists challenge and I have gone from washing weekly to bi weekly working my way to monthly cause my scalp loves wash days but not my hair so yes I needed this video. I love all your hair videos. ❤❤❤❤❤😂

    Using the pads of your fingers while pressed to the scalp and just maneuvering the scalp not the hair helps prevent tangles. This can be done as you scalp massage and shampoo the scalp. Running the shampoo down the hair shaft while stretching the hair also helps.
    Enjoying your vlogs.

    I wash my hair once a month, but I made it to two months with herbal tea treatments in between the weeks , so that’s how I’m able to stretch my wash days, and I am on a 1 year mini braids journey ❤ my hair is growing and thickening real good 😊 as long as I keep my stress level down my hair will flourish 😂🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 great video ❤

      @@CoilyDiaries . I’ve used the olive, peppermint and tea tree oils for years. This “ dry clean” method is used between washes. Oils can be applied to gauze or a soft cloth. Part the hair with your fingers and gently rub the scalp . It is very effective as I never have itchy scalp or an6 odour or dandruff.

    Good day lovely. Do you have a video where you show these steps such as the spritzing, brushing and sebum spreading while your hair is in twists? I just wonder if this make the twist frizzy or are you undoing the twist and re-tightening them each week to look fresh. Thanks

    Thanks for this helpful info! Your hair is gorgeous❤. I sweat a LOT on my scalp when I exercise and will try this in between washes, especially the tea tree oil mix. I usually apply castor oil + peppermint oil to my scalp weekly but I'm not sure if that's helped or hurt me in the 4 years that I've been natural...🙄

    • @CoilyDiaries
      @CoilyDiaries  7 месяцев назад +1

      shouldn’t be too bad but castor on the scalp builds up easy so unless you are washing your hair more often it’s probably better to use a lighter oil🌺

      @@CoilyDiaries Thanks for the tip. I'll switch to jojoba as a carrier oil. I think castor oil makes my scalp a bit itchy. Always learning! For years I heard castor oil massage simulates growth but never experienced that benefit.

    also, would you recommend using that brush on the scalp even if the person has mini braids or mini twist installed?
