    Detangling under water pressure makes it much easier.
    Coconut oil or coconut aminos can be used as a protein treatment as well.
    Thanks for sharing 🙂.

      I hear you. it’s easier but not necessarily safer. wet hair is weaker and with the added water, I wouldn’t try to manipulate it under those circumstances 🌺

      @lnyawilliamsmoore 8 месяцев назад

      @@CoilyDiaries I guess it depends on each individual person head of hair. From my own experience the power of the water helps to separate my hair strands and it's much safer for me to do it that way than dry detangling especially at the roots.
      Thanks for your response 😀

      I have 4c fine strands and detangling under water has reduced my breakage so much compared to detangling outside of the shower. I'm almost hip length now and I use to find detangling a pain and had lots of breakage whether with comb or finger detangling but now, it's a breeze. Of course do what works for you but for my fine strands, I'd never detangle any other way.

    Hi! I may be going crazy, but I cant find a video where you show yourself installing your mini twists! The closest I could find is when you are doing a protectice style prep! Can you pls point me in the right direction of what video to watch 🙏🏾

    • @CoilyDiaries

      You are not going crazy at all. Most of my videos are me just re twisting. I didn’t start from scratch for most of last year so it’s re twisting for most videos but the products would be the same as if the hair was loose. At the beginning when you're removing your shee hairs, that's the shedding I basically experience everytime I touch my hair. My ends shed at the same rate it's growing, so my hair never reaches a longer length 😢

    • @CoilyDiaries
      @CoilyDiaries  7 месяцев назад +3

      mmmh unlikely that your shedding affects your length. for this to be true all your hair should be shedding around the same time. if this isint the case, you should still have some length just thinner ends. have you always shed at this rate or this is a new thing? check your health, diet, hormones, iron,stress or even a new product? good luck!

    • @stephanies3862
      @stephanies3862 7 месяцев назад

      @@CoilyDiaries Thanks. It's always been like this. It gets to about collar bone length and then starts sheding a lot, so it never gets much longer. This makes me think this is my hairs terminal length. 🤷🏾‍♀️
