This movie is an absolute masterpiece. In one watch became one of my favourite all time movies. I rank this with Ex Machina. Everybody should be yelling from the rooftops about this film but I never heard of it before 2 hours ago.
This is easily the best movie I've watched for many years.

This movie is criminally underrated. It was on the Netflix and I decided to watch it and I am glad that I did watch it. It was superb and the ending shook me up. It deserves much more attention and recognition than it is getting now.
Really surprising that a lot of people did not understand the ending.

The scene where No.3 wakes for the first time and screams...Jesus that was chilling. And No.2, I've never wanted to give hardware a hug until I saw this film. Stacey Martin really nailed this role in every way.
You know it’s a great AI movie , when you empathize for the AI Robots, as much as you do with the human main characters .
The is an absolutely amazing movie! 10 out of 10! So happy I decided to watch this, the acting and special effects were brilliant. The story line was perfect too.

I really loved it. Visual was phenomenal, and there were many moments that touched our basic humanity, IMO. Theo did a tremendous job of carrying it for human and AI.

Wow, just finished watching this movie and oh my God I didn’t expect that twist of an ending. It really made me cry and feel so sad since I lost someone special to me as well.

It was seriously obfuscated and affected by COVID-19. I am a scientist and usually hate SF and only watch horror, this is one of very rare exceptions of SF done right
Just watched this movie, I thought it was very well done. I think it was better than some of the reviews, the look of the film for the budget is insanely good, and the ending was superb.

Beautiful film.🌹 Stacy Martins killed it. An underrated film that won't be appreciated until much later like Blade Runner. Cinematography and score reminds me of Ex Machina and Blade Runner.
Dude when I watched recap of movies this came up I never heard of this amazing movie so had to watch it on Amazon prime

i am amazed this movie went over my head, i just saw it like 10 minutes ago.....it is brilliant , even a scene as homage to ghost in the shell, the robots carry more emotions than most actors and the cinematography and the music...........and that ending.......wow, this must be movie of the year material, why didn't they talk more about it ? why is there no reviews or discussions of this ? this is future cult classic material.

I thought the human female robot was stupid until I realized none of it was real. They were all just his imaginations.

This reminds me so much of another robot movie that I'm trying to remember. came out at a similar time as ex machina. Was about this lady who made an ai got a gov job. Got killed and the gov guy put the ai in a body and the robot lady was super innocent.
I think I watch that movie too because when i played the archive I thought I seen the move but it was a that was similar to this one
This is a good movie. SFX is excellent and was not expecting how it ended. Definitely a must see movie. 2 👍👍
Perfect movie, real research backs this up, consciousness lives after death, for how long that is not measured yet. But when someone is gone, no matter how hard you try you won’t get the real one back.
Today is the time to love and care for each other, so don’t delay just do it.

Oh - I found this very SAD - but also good and thought provoking.
If you're going to watch it new - pay attention to what the 'Archive' IS from the beginning - and what it does (essentially allows a deceased persons' memories, thoughts, dreams, existence to be 'captured' and extended for a short period of time - so that family may 'communicate' with them for just a bit longer) ...
What I didn't get is that is the dead person actually in the archive box? seems so since it said "ready to be buried" at the end. I'm guessing the person is actually in the big black box.

I'm with the bandwagon. This movie hit me out of left field, saw it on Tubi as a random suggestion, and it's definitely in my Top 10 of all time , now.
There's no way that I could spoil the movie.... but I can say, it's perfect if you want either sci-fi or paranormal IMHO.
It also deals with issues of the integrity of memories/ as well as struggles with personal identity, in a way that 2049 managed to do in a sincere way.
WATCH IT.

Just literally finished watching ARCHIEVE on netflix and I gotta say: man how about THAT ending. Wow! *WHAT. A. TWIST!!!* Probably one of the best AI themed movies I've seen.
This is a breathtakingly stunning movie with a story that echo's Alfred Hitchcock's 'Vertigo' theme of necrophilia. A must see for every scifi fan. Archive succesfully competes with Ex Machina on many levels, and Theo James can dance just as good as Oscar Isaac.
Watched this yesterday (reminded me a bit of "Upgrade"). Beautiful cinematography, great soundtrack along a mind twisting scenario with an ending very reminiscent of "The Usual Suspects" and "The Sixth Sense". My jaw dropped at the end..🤷♂️❔

Finally just watched it. I agree it's up there with Ex Machina as a cult sci-fi classic. I'm usually really good at picking plot twists but boy that ending totally took me by surprise!
That end part I don't understand does it mean it was the guy that died or what....I don't get it
@@micchy5995 Yes he died and his end of life simulation was coming to an end. It was his own after death simulation from his downloaded personality but he obviously didn't know he was dead.

The story reminded me of Sixth Senses (Bruce Willis) and The Others (Nicole Kidman).

Just watched it. 1080p Blu-Ray with 5.1 sound and 47" display.
There are so many things that are familiar here. Similar interiors with moon and I even got some Half-Life vibes. Ex Machina etc.
But is is more than sum of its parts in the end. Just avoid spoilers.

The wife and child were the survivors of the car crash and he was the one trapped in the box
