Liev Screiber played Sabertooth and in that one, they were brothers. Ryan was essentially playing an early version of Deadpool (without the ravaged face and the red/black suit - but with the two swords), and Hugh Jackman was Wolverine of course. Nothing like the Deadpool films. They'll do fine in this one. And imho, it'll be a hit.

THIS PLOT SEEMS TO ACTUALLY SHOW THE WHY THE GOT ATTACKED AND WHY THEY DIED. AND THEN THE STORY OF THE OLD MAN TEACHING HIM FROM THE AFTERLIFE TO GO BACK AND RIGHT THE WRONG IN LIFE IS DIFFERENT.
