1.3moa 5 shot groups with factory ammo in my Siberian is what I’m getting. That’s with my 1-8x strike eagle. With I good trigger I think I could get 1moa or close to.
Greetings from Alabama, USA! Subbed to support Canadian compatriots. I'm glad to see you checking your brass as you increase the load. Have you found a brass catcher to be impractical?
I appreciate that, I really do. We gotta stick together after all that both our governments are doing to good law abiding folks. It’s a private range on my property and my brass eject out onto the lawn so it’s not terribly hard on them. A brass catcher is something to think about for sure!
That trigger... like dragging a 2x4 down a gravel road! LOL Today I shot just under 1.25" at 90m with bulk Hornady 55gr and 24.5gr H335, (off bags with a Nikon 1-4, I bet would do better with a real target scope. Aim small, shoot small!) I did also have some extra 69gr SMKs from my bolt gun (that I pressed the projectiles in to fit the AR mags) and they shot close, but I didn't ladder load those. I shoot ASIC mags in my bolt gun, they seat a LONG way out there past AR mags... but my bolt gun has an IBI barrel that can throat 90s,, same 1-7 twist.
Absolutely, i was only really expecting something around the 2700 mark. Especially with the 75 grain bullets. Few more powders to try yet, Thanks for watching.
I'm trying to source this same set up... found the mount on Ellewood epps but its for a 34mm tube diameter. the vortex strike eagle seems to only come in 30mm. Is your warne mount a 30mm or 34mm?
Hey man , very nice set up. Could you please let me know what optics you have on it? I'm going to buy that mount but wasn't sure of the details of your scope. Thanks!
Very nice trigger pull when unloaded! No flinch at all! Great way to see if your pull is ok when your surprised
Dry fire practice is an excellent way of fine tuning your trigger pull for sure!
Loving that mount and hand grip thanks for the info.
No problem 👍

Appreciate it! Hopefully I can find the time to make some winter range videos.

What ammo? I bet not Winchester LOL
@@sk8snwmx American eagle 62gr, and Winchester target 55gr both shot 1.3moa in my rifle
Is it a reliable rifle?
I haven't heard much about these. Hoping people are having more success with these, that what I've heard of the wk180s.

@@keystoneoutdoors_mb Good for you! Lots of open country up there. It can be really annoying how well shiny brass can hide, even in bright sunlight...

Absolutely could be better with a drop in trigger tech and my 16 power Nikon. A 223 bolt gun is on my list of things to build

@@GiarcraiGO it’s been great yup, eats everything I feed it.
Varget is a great powder for .223, you won't get higher velocities with it though

Great video. I just got the same rifle last week. Is your rifle suppressed? (Silencer) if so? How and where did your purchase it?
Thanks, appreciate it. It’s a mock suppressor barrel shroud with a built in linear compensator.

It is a 30mm tube

It’s a vortex strike eagle 1-6 lpvo
Could you please suggest from where to buy the Warne Mount in Canada ?
Got this one at Ellwood Epps
Are you allowed mags that hold 10 like that?
If it’s a pistol mag then yes, like an lar-15 magazine
Are you still enjoying this rifle?
Absolutely!
Which scope riser is that?
Edit: Nevermind, turned the resolution up :P
Warne x-skel 1.9 inch super high cantilever mount.
Your shooting 75gr with the factory barrel?
Yup
mine gets stuck all the time lol so annoying
Stuck how? Like the magazine or a failure to feed?
mag needs to be whacked in a few tiems randomly falls and it fails to feed a bit ive fired maybe 350 rounds in it@@keystoneoutdoors_mb
@@Joshua-lf2td interesting, they are by no means perfect but it’s not like we have many options left. Thanks for watching👍
What triggers does this take?
Most trigger packs fit from what I hear, I’m planning to put in a 3.5 pound single stage triggertech duty
