I was 15 in 1975. Rumors defined my dating life with 2 boys who never learned how to love me or anyone actually. When you're 17, you have hope and no way of knowing the pain that lies ahead. Stevie felt like a best friend, and Gypsy became my life's theme song. I'd give anything for her to help me recover from self-destruction the way she did. I need her now. Stevie, I love you. I have from day one. Taylor, I admire your talent and I love your humble confidence. You were blessed with good parents and that will be a solid foundation from which you can stay strong and steady. It's a cruel world. Most will be jealous of your many achievements. Don't waste time apologizing. You work hard and you deserve to be at the top. Stay kind and humble. Those are the two most beautiful traits anyone can have. You have outside beauty and a killer smile to boot. You deserve every good thing you have. Never, ever let a man or woman make you doubt that. I'm from Kansas City, I'm thrilled Travis seems to be able to handle your fame. It would drive a lesser man away, as you know. God has plans for you and him. I can't wait to see them unfold. Stay blessed, Stevie and Taylor. You are both phenomenal women. I pray I meet you both one day. XOXO
She wrote speak now all by herself 🙃 All in all 67 for herself, by herself (she wrote for others too, as we know). Don‘t spread false infos out there 😊
@@Julilovesapple that's simply not true. If other people are are given credit for songwriting... that means they helped right the song. For example Jack Antonoff co writes pretty much everything with her on the past few albums. You call yourself a fan and don't even know that? Lol
The point is that MOST artists don’t even have any writing credits on their songs because they’re pitched to them by actual songwriters. Taylor has written every single song she’s ever released and many that other artists released. Yes, a lot of the songs have cowriters but you can watch the process in many videos. She has the concept, lyrics and a melody, then she gets with her cowriters and they help to polish it up, edit it down and produce the final track. There is not a single step of process that she isn’t wholly involved with. A project being a collaborative effort doesn’t negate each person’s involvement. And I’d like to point out Taylor ALWAYS, ALWAYS gives so much credit and thanks her collaborators. She’s the architect and the project manager, but has support in building the song. Not sure what you don’t understand.
If Taylor approved what video they used of her she really is a 'mastermind' the SNTV plug was brilliant Also that duet was hot garbage. She couldnt keep up with Stevie at all. Shes worked on it now. But like have you heaes of harmonies dear?
Cope harder. At the end of that night she won her first Album of the Year Grammy for "Fearless" 🤣. She didn't mess up on her own song but on Stevie Nicks' song. She said she messed up badly and didn't make any excuses. I don't care because she won AOTY that night too!!!
She was a child FFS. This was a huge deal for her and a new experience at the time. Nobody, Taylor included, has claimed that it was a flawless performance.

Two…..make that 3 Queens
She doesn't write songs on her own. Of her 12 #1 hits there are 12 co-writers. Her last few albums have had a co-writer on pretty much every song.

For fuck's sake, the city is Atlanta: At-lan-ta. NOT: Uh--lanna.
