- Sony has provided a commendable generational leap with the PS5, and the console has been selling like hot cakes since its launch 3 years ago. But during that relatively short span of time, the gaming giant has been consistently pumping out sequels to fan-beloved IPs like Horizon Forbidden West, some of which have gone on to become the best games of this generation.
But in addition to these first-party greats, the console is also home to a slew of multi-platform third-party releases that have remained under-appreciated for one reason or another.
With this video, we will be looking at 15 of the most underrated games on PS5 and discuss what makes them so special and deserving of a chance.

I'm glad I gave Bugsnax a try. Not really my type of game but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
That Terminator game totally flew under my radar. They did the Robocop game, right?

Shame Evil West and Guardians didn’t sell well, both amazing games
I hated evil west. Loved Guardians.
Evil West was a great game.

Evil West is like allot of the games we got in the 90s it was really fun plus I love werewolves and vampires. As well as mutant creatures that were in this game.

The Crew Motorfest is great. People are loving it from what I hear.

my one issue with dying light 2 is...the city just isn't as interesting as the shanty town in the firt game, it felt much more atmospheric.

Being the contrarian that I am, I will have to disagree. Villedor is such a beautiful and dense city. The sunsets and sunrises are made so much more beautiful in witnessing them through the ruins of a large DIY settlements. The sense of verticality and adrenaline is enhanced by the interspersed office interiors and height of the skyscrapers.
I absolutely adore everything about Dying Light 2 and really didn’t care for anything in Dying Light 1. My 14 year old says the opposite though.😂

i never bug Yakuza games on launch, i enjoy all the game stories. The world is very same but different. I enjoy the beat em up rpg, i’ll always get it the game on sale no matter what
Loved Evil West, and Weird West
Teyon's Terminator and Robocop games are pretty good games and they're full fan service.
How's terminator gameplay wise?
@@mikejames4910 Terminator was panned bei most outlets during it's 2019 release and it always baffled me. With the Enhanced Version and the DLC they clearly delivered a big package here. Teyon made this terrible Rambo Rail-Shooter but they got so much better with each game they made. Terminator is far from being the most polished shooter gameplay wise but it's a fun gameplay loop where you can decide to do things more strategically or finishing things with brute force. If you are a fan of Terminator you will most likely see the best iteration of the franchise here since the second movie. Really hope this studio brings back a few other Action-Franchises as a game like a new Die Hard game and/or a proper Predator game.

Chernobylite is underrated. It's a great fps. Some parts are just all out creepy, and somewhat unsettling. A few jump scares here and there.

@@MCFM88Get it, it might lack the polish of a triple A title but that game is a prime example of a game made with love & now is the best time to play it as improvements have been made.
The map is from the exclusion zone in real life, where they utilised 3d mapping.
You won't be disappointed, & where the stalker guy can just turn up seeking you out, it makes you have to act on each run with strategy in mind.
I played the PS4 version when it first came out and I absolutely enjoyed it but, at that time at least, it had a lot of bugs, one of which would corrupt your save file. I never finished it because I literally couldn’t unless I started the whole game over again. They may have fixed this in the PS5 version though.

Careful with aragami 2. The gameplay is fun but it was extremely buggy and had performance issues when I last played causing me to drop the game. Be mindful of that and make sure it’s been patched/fixed.
Even the clip they show is buggy!
Every now and then I really enjoy it on Deck. Haven't seen too many issues so far.
The first game I played on my PS5 was Marvel's Guardians of The Galaxy and I had tons of fun. But what's even better are the story and characters. Here's a tip. If you are a gamer and a fan of the movies just play the damn game. You're welcome.
170+ mph collision at the end both cars completely functional…but this does not make it a bad game.

I'm unfortunately not surprised that Sword and Fairy: Together Forever didn't make the list... not because it seems bad but because it seems no one has even heard of it. 😟
What is world tour?
I played Outriders before and I did enjoy it at first but the balancing issues I had at the time just made me quit the game. I've not played it in a while and IDK if the game still has a dedicated community. If it does I might give it another go

@@michaeldonovan231 the feel and setting of Weird West is the same but entirely different top down gun play. Multiple paths to choose, stealth, guns blazing, Magic, and traps choices of attack. Looting and crafting. Randomly generated levels. If you like that it was worth the price to me

I bought terminator resistance to play on christmas day. I tried Aragami 2 when it came out but the screen tearing was so bad for me, I deleted it. Sackboy is good and the music is really good with the gameplay.
Why wait until Christmas? Just play it now.

The 1st game's label says "World Tour" not Terminator
Without trying to be a dick to you. And I did find it hard to write this comment and being kind as so many aren't. In some countries game's have different titles name's and box art.

Any Japan and the UK have a lot of game's with different titles to American game's even know it's the same game. Its not always the case but this is one of them game's and I also think the Australians got a different titles name as we'll

I find it annoying that so many good games now have a RPG elements when it's not needed. Crafting item's just gets boring at this point.
All but 2 of these games are also cross buy (Chernobylite and The Crew Motorfest standard edition) so if you don't have a PS5 yet and you own these you will get the PS5 editions for free minus needing internet, hydro and your time to download said games. I found Evil West to be overrated because all the press the game received before launch about how it is similar to games from the PS3 era.
I actually have Dying Light 2. Haven't played it on my ps5 yet.

9 times out of 10 underrated = mid, unspectacular, passable, time killer. I don't have the time to play every game under the sun. There are already enough elite games to choose from. These underrated lists are overdone to death.

Ps5 games should be only on Ps5 not also on Ps4, native Ps5 only, if its also in ps4 its not a next gen game.
I loved chernobylite right until the last mission. Then it's fuck this game!.
Evil west... was hyped to play it but if you enjoyed playing games at high difficulty, this isn't it.
It's flaws become apparent when only a handful of hits can kill you. Random things off screen sniping, wonky controls, and the dev's idea of challenge is ganks on top of ganks on top of ganks. Everything is a literal bullet sponge and worse... the main character is early 90s B movie "cool".
Do not buy this game until it's $10
About two of theses game's are any good and one of them is sack boy.
You guys need to a better job of editing. Terminator title is wrong on video.
Guardians was the only good one on the list. Bugsnax was alright and weird was was ok at best.
Not crew motorfest! This is a game not properly optimised for performance mode. Looks borderline ugly.

Do not spend ur money on any of these.
Only problem I had with Evil West was the fact that you can not turn of motion blur on PS5. I could only play it for about an hour at most in a day until I literally got a headache and felt like throwing up.. Motion blur makes no sense in gaming, it always looks terrible!

Dying light 2 was rubbish compared to the first one. Underwhelmed not under rated
I want to say for everybody I played all of this games and he is a liar sack boy is not a relaxing game and evil West is terrible I want to like it but is it disgusting game have not to much enemy and the game when try to difficultes just drop the same enemy but more than before end all of this games terrible

Devil May Cry is Unmatched. I played them all 5 years ago. Great Games. Only Devil May Cry 2 was a bit weak but still good.
Some of these games are a piece of trash. Enough said.
