👍👍👍 On my 90 ls swap I hooked the tcc on a small module purple wire , close to the master cylinder, it works, has power, and it cuts when brake, Thanks for all the information!!!!
I know it may have nothing to do with the TCC, but i did an LS swap on my 96 c1500 with a 2001 5.3, and im getting code p1571, it says im not getting 5v from EBCM (ABS), the input is on pin 13 Blue connector, but i dont have that wire, i think the engine is also going into limp mode because of that.
Hello. I’m doing a gen 4 ls. On my tcc it requires 12v when brakes are applied. So I wired my tcc to the brake wire. Gen 3 requiere 0v when the brakes are applied.
One question sir. I’m working on my harnesses (obs and ls) I saw in other of your videos how to wire the tcc from the harness, but where do I connect the tcc wire from the pcm?
I am showing you on the OBS truck where the tcc wire from the LS pcm can go on the OBS truck. Please correct or reword if I have misunderstood your question.
So I have one tcc wire coming from the obs harness, but then I also have a tcc wire coming from the pcm connector. My question is where do I connect the tcc wire from the obs harness and where do I connect the tcc wire from the pcm connector?
@@josenarvaez5338 does the OBS still have a battery to power it now? If so check it with a test light. If not, you can wait until it does to be certain. Then you can splice them together if that wire works.
So I have a 1994 Chevy OBS I have no TCC wire anywhere in this truck. I have checked every purple white and white wire possible. I pulled down the same wires under the dash you did. Any other suggestions?
It's the electronic trans that has the wire. If you are working with an older vehicle that did not have an electronic trans (4l60e/4l80e, etc) then you take the wire coming off your modified LS pcm harness and tie it into a wire that has power, but when activated cuts the power. There is a wire on your brake switch (located at the top of the brake pedal) that has this ability. You just need to check out a wiring diagram for your vehicle to see which one. You can also use the method I did to probe the wires and find out which one has power and when the brake is applied cuts the power.
@laurencevillegarage so if I have a 1994 k1500 that had a 4l60e. And I swapped a 6.0 with a 4l80e into it, do I need to do what is shown in this video? Also would the old obs pcm have a wire controlling the tcc ? My new pcm is set up to go in the glove box with the old pcm

Thank you! Good to know.
How did you hook it? With t-taps?
@@JoseCruz-qf6ui just splice it, then loom it
@@JoseCruz-qf6ui No, I wouldn’t use those on a swap. I cut and solder all wires followed by marine heat shrink to make a moisture free connection.
Thanks for making all these videos. They really help.
1988-1992 should also be able to find the purple TCC wire behind the glove box in the clear c200 connector in spot L
Thank you, good to know!
