You are 100% correct about the other vlogers, you all say more or less the same thing. There is a lot less crime in Canada than the UK. I was on V.I. BC for 10yrs before I came back to the UK to look after my Dad with his Dementia. The homeless in Victoria, V.I. and druggies is ridiculous for a capital city. Not sure what it was like in Nanaimo where you were.
I live in the same city as him, Nanaimo.... due to or woke criminal justice system, Nanaimo is just a smaller scale.. there are homeless and addict issues.. maybe not as bad as Vicotira and Vancouver... stores are regularly broken in...
One word Gweilo...Community! its all a Community based society, and they are lucky to have COMMUN (Ist) Government people caring for each other and not Big Business
I just came back to Nanaimo, your home too from Shenzhen, due to my Chinese NY vacation... right away it's different. I sure appreciate the quietness in Nanaimo... but if you have visited China, you know nothing is comparable.... public transit in North America is horrible. .Downtown Nanaimo, not unique here... we called SIckman of North America 北美病夫 are everywhere .. asking for change for drugs... almost like those old films about Late Qing dynasty, except these aint Sickman of East Asia 东亚病夫 addicted to opium. Friends were complaining about that traffic light in 5th st/Bruce, cost $1.3 million and 3 month to construct.. you heard it right, 1 god damn traffic light.. of course in Canada, you arent allowed to call it as "corruption".. then when you ask why stuff is expensive, cuz taxes are too high? why? no efficiency what so ever. government waste.

I will try and meet up when I am in Nanning in 3 weeks. Kirt, do you know a good steakhouse in Nanning? That is something I miss when in China
Try to speak more Chinese to make more attractions about your daily living as an foreigner among the Chinese society .
❤❤❤Kirk, looks like you’ve found your own piece of proletariat paradise.. Nanning sounds like my type of city.🌹🌹
@7:37, US law enforcement is part of the criminal justice industry. “Catch and release “ is a sport phrase that applies to fishing and policing. Both perpetuates the longevity and prosperity of the activity for the primary beneficiary - the sport fishing industry or police industry.
a cool and nice breakfast indeed, let the good time rolls have fun PEACE
Another great vlog as always
Sane here in ten mile silver beach
Unfortunately the back front restaurants hike up the prices and we never go the the beach on public holidays
But plenty more places to go otherwise
China is a place where one never runs out of food and the variety is immense and best part, affordable.
Moving to China end of next month from the UK..Peace and JaYoe
Wellcome.😄
China is good
Great to see musicians get together for a jam in the park...at 20:03 👍
A passionate individual, I admire
yea ,can't wait to go back next week !
wow, so affordable!
One word Gweilo...Community! its all a Community based society, and they are lucky to have COMMUN (Ist) Government people caring for each other and not Big Business
Interesting
I lasted like 4 minutes in this before I ordered a steam bun with pork and egg to my room her in Vietnam (Banh Bao).
Another lovely day, enjoy😊
Another video is out of the way and time for some tall boys.
Exactly
You should learn to speak Mandarin to communicate with others, make things easier for you , they want to communicate with you but don't know your language , since you want live in China
Canadians have to pay a lot more on everything to cover the war in Ukraine, especially the housing cost
Young Chinese are learning english some of them speak english well, the change comes gradually
Beihai is indeed the off beaten path but the sea food is great or used to be awesome!!! All those slow and lightly stir fried sand worms brings back so much memories.
I only remember the watching bikini girls on the beach part.😂
Taosha is good. Made of red beans. Dumplings made of pork. Soy milk is also nutritious.
Despair is the key word G60. It’s our souls that’s in pain.
note that the views you see in the video is right in an urban area of 6 million people ... ruclips.net/video/6v_qm9blQJc/видео.htmlsi=2zg6Y5HPoXvr9f05 ( most recent aerial views of urban Nanning )
It would be great if you could do a comparison between Nanning and Đà Nẵng in Vietnam. I’m not sure if you’ve been to Vietnam
haha, thank you for reminding me how to say soy milk (dou jiang) I just learnt it recently and thanks to you recalled it. similar to soy sauce (jiang you) ;) bon appetite!
