I don’t have a job outside of the home, so I hardly see the point of makeup. But if I do have to be out, I simply put on my Anastasia brow wiz, Vaseline on my lips, and since black mascara looks too severe with nothing else, I’ve been kind of liking L’Oréal voluminous in the maroon! That it!!!
Hi Lissy great video. A few observations 1. You said “use cases” which made me laugh. I used to work in tech and haven’t heard that in a while... 2. You have a new Hermes necklace that you didn’t mention in this video, in fact you didn’t mention any accessories (bags aside) in your get ups 3. Wearing masks has caused my skin to revert back to my days of puberty and pimples and I hate it. Add in the heat and sweat, sunscreen etc I cannot wear makeup and a mask! 4. You look great, in fact I think you’re doing a Benjamin Button! 5. I live in Toronto, but visit NYC often. i've given up on make up with the mask, it's hot and sweaty so most of it ends up on the mask. By the end of the day i found that when i took off my face was itchy and red so now i just put a light moisturiser and soft tissues to mop up the moisture when the mask gets too hot.

I absolutely love your hair color. Makes your eyes pop and sparkle. As far as makeup, i just wear eye makeup and brows. The mask will wipe all the rest off. Bold eyes but after that just sun screen.
I realise I am quite late to this makeup party but ........ I recommend Hourglass Primer , then a tinted moisturiser of your choosing , Hourglass setting spray , very , I stress very light dusting of powder , I am using a Nars one that is almost a non powder . Eyes of course , lipstick it depends on the day and my mood really . Your skin looks great though , I live in the UK and never see the sun , so I might scare people without something on my face 😉
Lissy, I’m sorry you had to move your father. It’s sad but it can prolong their lives. My father was adamant that he wanted to remain at home but his health deteriorated
Highly recommend Goldfinch the book. Do not waste your time with the move. Producers tried to include the multitude of plot points in a 2 hr film. That recipe rarely works. Stay safe.

If I did, I would just wear mascara and eyeliner. It makes no point getting my mask full of face makeup. Also, I heard on the news, that wearing makup under a mask, causes severe skin irritation. No shame in touching your hair. I do the same as you. I hate when my hair gets in my face and am constantly pushing it back behind my ears. It seems people just have to have something to complain about sometimes. Also, I have basically been wearing a tinted moisturizer with SPF as it gives some coverage. I am an SPF girl so have to wear SPF to protect face not covered by mask. I use a hint of blush and highlighter. I am doing regular eye makeup and bronzing my forehead. I only put on lipstick if I go out and eat (and then don't apply it until mask is removed at restaurant). But there have definitely been some days that I don't bother with makeup. Heck, there were the occasional days I didn't bother with makeup before masks became a thing LOL
Lissy, you look so good! Play with your hair all you want, it looks great on you. Maybe your handbag closet could be straightened out just by putting the straps inside your bags, no judging here. Hi Lizzie, I have Invisalign to, I bought some wax at the drugstore for braces. It is a lifesaver for those points. I had sores in my mouth from them. Wax is a lifesaver.

I think the invisalign is way better probably than the whole braces ordeal.. i am showing my age.. but I remember I had to deal with teeth issues for a decade... like two or three retainers, sealents, braces for 3 years.. it was just a nightmare at times.. don't worry about the hair touching.. i think you're right, you aren't just touching it for fun.. it can be in the way at times.. some youtubers.. I just can't.. because its like every second..

There is no point in wearing face makeup with a mask on tbh. However, I still wear it when I’m out and about because I don’t want to scare anyone when I take it off 🤣. The makeup does get all over the mask though which is super annoying.

I DON’T wear makeup cause Most of it is made with CHEMICAL AND I DON’T care for how that stuff (negatively) impacts our environment ❗️(*Only exception to that are organic products. Regarding your hair it’d probably look better VERY SHORT! That’s how I wear mine. I think it looks great (mine)💯😻😁

I really love your hair dark like that. It looks great. On the one or two days a week I do go out I am wearing full makeup. Some does come off on the mask but I don’t care. I even found myself reapplying lipstick twice at the dinner table the other day. Something I would have never done before.
Try a disposable mask. Makeup gets on it toss mask. Safe a reusable when you don’t wear lipstick.... Makeup remover may clean them or put them in the machine garment bag.... We do have to keep things as normal as possible....

I still need to finish Schitt’s Creek but I’m holding off because I love it so much and don’t want it to end. I’m only wearing concealer, mascara and lip balm now, like you say with the mask situation what’s the point. I’ve gotten more and more into perfume. Hope the workmen are finished soon, I know how stressful it’s can be when you’re trying to get things done
In terms of makeup, all I’ve been bothered to do is a face blur with SPF by Etude House and Dior lip glow. Love the getups and the frittata looks delicious!
Nice surprise to see your video today. I always enjoy your new clothes and accessories. I have decided minimal makeup and am choosing to just wear moisturizers or serums and oils under my masks during the day so my skin is getting more of a treat. I had invisalign about 2 years ago and only needed to wear the original trays for about 3-4 months. I have the permanent retainers now and I think they are very helpful in terms of dental health. They lessen the impact of any grinding I might do at night. For movies, I'm all caught up on Hannah and Bosch, and will get back to Schitt's Creek. Thought about starting over from the beginning and really enjoying the ridiculousness of each episode. Can't decide which character I like the most. Last book I finished reading was Airframe, happened to be on my Kindle, written by Michael Crichton. His books are really good, he also wrote Andromeda Strain and the Great Train Robbery, Jurassic Park, Congo, etc and I think he was actually an MD by profession. So anyhow, my reading is not the latest and greatest but there are some good oldies out there. I've got a long list that I want to read from a knitting blog I was on today. Hi Lissy! So happy that Dad is settling in! For the mask; you can place a coffee filter inside your cloth mask, so it does not get make-up or lipstick on it. I have also seen some ladies double mask as well; with disposable mask underneath. However, the coffee filter is more cost effective! Hope this helps! So, lovely to see you! I just read Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy. Really interesting and a fast read. Read it for my book club. I’ve been wearing concealer under my eyes and setting it with powder. Eyebrows,mascara, and a lip stain works ok with a mask. The key I have found is a setting spray to keep the makeup in place.
I have also skipped the face makeup and just use eyeliner and mascara. I do add a tinted lip gloss in the house, but its gross to wear it in a mask! I kept finding a black smudge on top of my mask and it was because my mask moved up and covered my eyes, so it was mascara! my last vaca was in Feb before everything shut down. we visited my brother in law/SIL in SC and went to the Oridinary! I just saw your video on Kiawah when you went there too! loved it as much as you did! have a great week! :-)

I have been wearing very little makeup--just some Laura Mercier spf tinted moisturizer, mascara, and La Mer lip balm. I can't stand lipstick or a full face of makeup with the mask. I heard that using a finishing spray over your makeup helps, but I don't know. I haven't worn makeup since early March! I do miss it, but, with no where to really go, I don't bother. I usually wear sunglasses with my mask when I take my once weekly trip to the grocery store. No worries about the hair touching - I feel like we're here to just chat and catch up. Hi Lissy, love your outfit’s and can’t wait to see your new Chanel Jacket 😃👍🏻 I am retired, so, I only wear makeup when I have to go to stores,doctor visits, or see my daughter’s ,and visit my Dad. I only wear lipstick when going to stores,.....I just put it on then pat over it with a Kleenex or press my lips on the Kleenex and it stays pretty well and doesn’t get too much on my mask. I wash my 𝗠ask’s quite often in the sink and just lay it over my hanging towel to dry overnight. Looking forward to your next video. So glad your sweet Dad is adjusting to his new living place.🙏🏻 I dread the day I may have to move my Dad in a assisted living, he’s so set in his stubborn ways😂👍🏻 he is eighty four and has help with housekeeping and has food cooked for him, he’s really fortunate in that and we four kid’s check and visit him often. Loreal infalliable lipsticks are wonderful. They set and don't rub off on masks and really last past lunch or cocktails.

There is no point in wearing face makeup with a mask on tbh. However, I still wear it when I’m out and about because I don’t want to scare anyone when I take it off 🤣. The makeup does get all over the mask though which is super annoying.

I DON’T wear makeup cause Most of it is made with CHEMICAL AND I DON’T care for how that stuff (negatively) impacts our environment ❗️(*Only exception to that are organic products. Regarding your hair it’d probably look better VERY SHORT! That’s how I wear mine. I think it looks great (mine)💯😻😁

I really love your hair dark like that. It looks great.
On the one or two days a week I do go out I am wearing full makeup. Some does come off on the mask but I don’t care. I even found myself reapplying lipstick twice at the dinner table the other day. Something I would have never done before.
Try a disposable mask. Makeup gets on it toss mask. Safe a reusable when you don’t wear lipstick.... Makeup remover may clean them or put them in the machine garment bag.... We do have to keep things as normal as possible....

So far it's good. I'm halfway there. Yes supposed to wear it 20-22 hours a day.

In terms of makeup, all I’ve been bothered to do is a face blur with SPF by Etude House and Dior lip glow. Love the getups and the frittata looks delicious!
Nice surprise to see your video today. I always enjoy your new clothes and accessories. I have decided minimal makeup and am choosing to just wear moisturizers or serums and oils under my masks during the day so my skin is getting more of a treat. I had invisalign about 2 years ago and only needed to wear the original trays for about 3-4 months. I have the permanent retainers now and I think they are very helpful in terms of dental health. They lessen the impact of any grinding I might do at night. For movies, I'm all caught up on Hannah and Bosch, and will get back to Schitt's Creek. Thought about starting over from the beginning and really enjoying the ridiculousness of each episode. Can't decide which character I like the most.
Last book I finished reading was Airframe, happened to be on my Kindle, written by Michael Crichton. His books are really good, he also wrote Andromeda Strain and the Great Train Robbery, Jurassic Park, Congo, etc and I think he was actually an MD by profession. So anyhow, my reading is not the latest and greatest but there are some good oldies out there. I've got a long list that I want to read from a knitting blog I was on today. Hi Lissy! So happy that Dad is settling in! For the mask; you can place a coffee filter inside your cloth mask, so it does not get make-up or lipstick on it. I have also seen some ladies double mask as well; with disposable mask underneath. However, the coffee filter is more cost effective! Hope this helps! So, lovely to see you! I’ve been wearing concealer under my eyes and setting it with powder. Eyebrows,mascara, and a lip stain works ok with a mask. The key I have found is a setting spray to keep the makeup in place.

I have also skipped the face makeup and just use eyeliner and mascara. I do add a tinted lip gloss in the house, but its gross to wear it in a mask! I kept finding a black smudge on top of my mask and it was because my mask moved up and covered my eyes, so it was mascara! my last vaca was in Feb before everything shut down. we visited my brother in law/SIL in SC and went to the Oridinary! I have been wearing very little makeup--just some Laura Mercier spf tinted moisturizer, mascara, and La Mer lip balm. I can't stand lipstick or a full face of makeup with the mask. I heard that using a finishing spray over your makeup helps, but I don't know. I haven't worn makeup since early March! I do miss it, but, with no where to really go, I don't bother. I usually wear sunglasses with my mask when I take my once weekly trip to the grocery store. No worries about the hair touching - I feel like we're here to just chat and catch up. I wear a mask for 12 hrs at work. No foundation just eye makeup and lip balm to try and keep my lips from drying out too much.

Oh my goodness! Glad to see you, I am in Florida...I remember awhile ago how you said you loved Charleston...Totally off subject, right? It caught my attention as I noticed when you talked about traveling we have been to many of the same places. Good taste. I have a question for you. I believe you have a fashion back ground, you wear a lot of Channel, how did you grow to love that? I have never owned anything Channel. Ok, how do I deal with makeup? Mine is permanent. Eyebrows, eyeliner, lips. I was a 🎾 Tennis professional and am now a broker internationally . A female Jerry McGuire of sorts. My make up is very lovely, very simple, and I get tons of compliments. I have had it for 20 years, with only a few touch ups. Best ever...it does not look fake.

Hi Lissy, love your outfit’s and can’t wait to see your new Chanel Jacket 😃👍🏻 I am retired, so, I only wear makeup when I have to go to stores,doctor visits, or see my daughter’s ,and visit my Dad. I only wear lipstick when going to stores,.....I just put it on then pat over it with a Kleenex or press my lips on the Kleenex and it stays pretty well and doesn’t get too much on my mask. I wash my 𝗠ask’s quite often in the sink and just lay it over my hanging towel to dry overnight. Looking forward to your next video. So glad your sweet Dad is adjusting to his new living place.🙏🏻 I dread the day I may have to move my Dad in a assisted living, he’s so set in his stubborn ways😂👍🏻 he is eighty four and has help with housekeeping and has food cooked for him, he’s really fortunate in that and we four kid’s check and visit him often.
