So happy to see an upload from you. Love the hair! Totally understand that feeling of parental aging and not even thinking about those things/health issues when we were younger. I’m 47 but lost my dad 2 years ago at age 95. It is hard watching them decline when they were always so strong and vital!

Lissy, I am sure every single one of those comments came from someone who is jealous. Period. You do not look old for your age. You have the most beautiful skin. Flawless. As for getting Invisalign at 50, I had full-blown braces at 50. I am now 60 and if I had never gotten them I would get them now. Again, that comment came from someone who for whatever reason is unhappy in her own circumstances, so wants to bring you down to her level of feeling miserable. It is the same people who left a thumbs down on this video. They are very unhappy people and are taking it out on you. I love how positive you are and how happy you remain. I’m very sorry to hear about your dad. I understand what it’s like to watch these changes in your parent. I just moved my mom from Alabama to a memory care center near me in California. She was hallucinating quite a bit and they just put her on an anti psychotic medicine that is helping quite a bit, thankfully! Hopefully the place that you dad is living in will work with you on his medications to help stabilize him. Like your dad, some of my mom’s hallucinations were scary and terrifyingly real to her. But some of them were actually very funny. One time she thought she was in Argentina and she invited me in for an Argentinian barbecue and sangria! Ha! So hopefully, you have some lighter moments with your dad soon. Take care Lissy, and tune out those who try to steal your joy.
