      @@D0nt_trip3you still have factory warranty you know. I bout my car used from a Hyundai dealer that someone traded their q in for. Replaced both turbos with warranty, got an amazing deal for pointing out that the turbos were bad.

    Turbo issues are very common with the vr30. I have a 2016 and had both turbos replaced under warranty at 40k miles.

    • @2seep
      @2seep 10 месяцев назад +2

      It’s mostly due to people not waiting for oil temps to rise, and not idle the car after pushing it hard. The oil sits in a hot turbo when the car is shit off it it’s not idled. It needs to idle to cycle and cool the oil and the turbo, leaving the oil there will cause the oil to thin and lose its wear protection properties. Also doing a pull before the oil is up to temp is bag because everything expands when it’s heated up, and if you do a pull when the tolerances aren’t ready you causing extra unnecessary wear. The main problem is the 10k suggest oil interval and the 0w20 recommendation. You should only use 0w20 when you live in freezing temperature.

      @@2seep yea. All that sounds good. But the 2016-2017 turbos are known to go quick. The later years they made revisions to help eliminate that. That’s why they warranted them without question. Even up to the 70k mile mark they would swap them out

      @@2seep that 10k recommendation doesn’t help either like you said. Full synthetic at every 5k for me. Once they did the replacements I haven’t had turbo issues since

    Black paint is hard to keep swirl free I'd just polish it and wrap w ppf

    • @xVR30TTx
      @xVR30TTx  11 месяцев назад

      Yeah it definitely is. I had it paint corrected and coated and it’s still not at the point I want so a wrap may be in its near future but I love black so much ngl. When it looks good, it looks really good.
