@@maybesomeday1781 it’s definitely repairable. Worst case I’ll sand, bondo and spray paint over that section. Our touch up guy might be able to fix it better too. Definitely not paying another $700 for the splitter and paint. I have an unpainted plastic spare so I may take this one of in the meantime and throw that one on.

@@LivinwithPat nope. All modifications can and will void warranty if it is the cause of your failure. If not, a good writer will still perform warranty work but some aren’t good.

@@troyarsenault3981 this was a custom Ecutek tune done my SonicTuned. I sent logs back and forth over the course of about 3 weeks to get tuned. At this time I believe I just had the ams ldp and MBRP exhaust

@@xVR30TTx When it came and you flashed with stage 1 was there any default map that had some burbles or anything or do you have to send logs to get pretty much anything done? I appreciate your help cant really find anything online

The transmission is dog shit none the less so unfortunately the paddles aren't going to matter to much on response since the transmission itself is slow to respond. Although, I have not driven many "fast" German cars so I can't compare.

@@carolinea30 I would choose the red sport, but obviously there’s reasons why I would. I have friends that have had S5s and most of them come with a boatload of issues Used. Transmission is definitely slow, but the paddles do their job. I wouldn’t call them fast, but I wouldn’t call them slow.

@@demianv751 I had it painted and mounted by a body shop so unfortunately I don’t really know lol sorry! I did remount the side skirts will washers and nuts instead of self tappers. So far the lip hasn’t had an issue and protects my bumper well.

For sure! Nothing against AMS they are just over priced imo. If you don’t plan to upgrade turbos/fdps later then ldp is a good option but if you do plan to upgrade it’s pointless. At least in my opinion.

@@isaiahcarter7342 most recommend 19+ but honestly there’s no difference. I’d pay $30k stock for my car again but not much more. Redsport or not they are the same car, I got mine with 12k miles 2 years ago for $37k. Redsports if you could even find one we’re in the $50k range with the same mileage. Now days if you can get your hands on a sport or rs for the same or similar price as a luxe, take it! All in all, it’s the same car. They are more similar than twins.

It’s been a little over 2 months but my wife’s drives for Uber so it’s been close to 15k miles since and it still performs great. It’s restarted its self twice according to my wife but it just booted back up and was just fine. Hope that helps!

Hey! Figured I’d reply awhile later. It’s still performing great for nearly 25k miles. Very small amount of bugs/glitches. I’d say it bugs out as often as a phone/switch/tablet. Nothing that causes any discomfort, overall even being a partner with Merge screens I’m shocked at how well it’s performing. I kept my old screen to be safe but I don’t think I’ll need it! It’s running great. Ps; my wife drives for HOURS at a time EVERY day since install so if that screen was going to overheat trust me it would have by now lol. It’s a solid peace of machine.

@@mannygomez1670 any aftermarket components can and will void your warranty by the manufacturer and even more so on extended warranty’s. I am a service manager so some perks apply for myself. My suggestion on any car would be to find yourself a service advisor that likes you, bring him a bottle of jack every other visit and approve his recommendations and he’ll be your best friend.

@@javaughnmcintosh684 you can do it on either but not much benefit for a Redsport. Unfortunately there’s still no good AWD oil coolers yet. Doesn’t matter if you’re a Redsport or Luxe. We got a stage 3 engine before we got a solid oil cooler 😂

@@chickenwrap5616 great question. I hated it it stock form, the tires and wheels are way to heavy and thin so it feels like your driving a corn dog lol imo. As soon as you put 285s with a light wheel, shave down some rotational weight and give it a little aero by lowing it, I can’t tell the difference between this and my Lexus that’s hydronic.
