If you ever find yourself looking for new Crimpers, Crimping Pliers or a Swager, ask a couple of questions first. What is torque and compressive strength? Torque rotational force represents the capability of force to affect something in a rotational motion. Compressive strength is basically the amount of load a specific area of a material can bear. These 2 areas were the most essential problems to solve with the design strategy of our crimping pliers. The reduced surface area at the business end, in conjunction with the short distance to the pliers fulcrum (pivot point where pliers rotate), has allowed us to maximize torque and deform crimps. This easily allows us to crimp 400lb Multistrand Stainless Cable and 400lb Mono or Fluoro leader material using either aluminium, copper or brass crimps. And it fits in your pocket! Designed specifically for crimping, they're perfect for fishing trips abroad and boat trips saving on space and weight. Take a look at our "Toit" crimping technique used on all aluminium crimps.

    ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ABOUT TOIT FISHING ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Fishing has been an integral part of my life since the age of six. From the early days of riding my BMX bike with all my kit down to our local fishing spot, to nowadays where I find myself daydreaming far too much about the next fishing trip with friends. I want to pass on to any child, teenager, or adult something that I have designed, learned, improved on or seen someone else do. This is the side I love about fishing - the learning, questioning the boundaries, maybe improving then teaching or passing on. At my core I am a fisherman, love the bite especially when it’s on, but right next to that is this desire to meet, talk and see what other fisherman are doing that is different to what I know.

You are finally back! I am very grateful. Also hope you will continue to make more videos, especially testing the GT knots(the one with the Bimini twist).

Hey Wazza, Glad to see you back. I was surprised with all the crimp slipping…can you add to test burning the end of the mono/fluro too see if it stops the slipping of the crimp. I love the Flemish eye too, she’s a goer!
Id be curious to see your toit knot vs a crimp in the same size line and application. I sometimes wonder which is better with 120lb mono and 200lb fluro to crimp or toit knot.

I shared several of your videos on my Twitter page this evening! Super Tool. I'm assuming crafters maybe interested as well!

So...I watched this video. Somewhat cynically. But it got me...I ordered the tool from Fish Razr.
When it came in I was devastated...it's a tiny little toy tool. This tool is not a capable crimper. It's far too small. And then I used it...
HOLY COW! GAME CHANGER!!! Warren, you sir are a genius. Best tool I own. THANK YOU! Finally a travel/carry crimper that ROCKS!
I can't wait to see what problem you solve next!

Glad your back and hope you are well. I wanted to request a few knots for testing. I know it takes time so get to it when you chance. 1. Finish testing the FG knot. 2. Test the PR knot. 3. Test the snell knot. 4. Test the Fishing Fool knot. Stay safe

Mate just an FYI, a lot of your older videos are all distorted and show a green screen while the audio is playing fine.
Could just be me but it only happens on your older videos, and only on this channel. Might want to look into the video encoding?
Also, a request since I can't find one: dropper loop knots with both the "sinker side" and the "hook side" strengths tested.
    Love the channel!

Thanks for the heads up. Do you know which videos? Took a look, could not find any.
Dropper loops are on my to do list. Hopefully soon,

"Surgeon's Knot" and "Fishing Knot Lubrication" were doing it for me last week, yesterday, and today...but I just checked and the screen went green for about 2 seconds and then cleared up. Before the screen stayed green the entire time.
Like I said, could be just my device, but I've never seen anything like that on any other channel.
      Cheers!

It takes a bit of practice to find that sweet spot between crimps that are too loose and crimps that are too tight which cause deformation of the mono. On 49 strand wire I have always used double sleeves or even triple for heavier wires. I can't remember where I read the advice on that, maybe it came from one of the Jeff Wilson knot books. Since I usually use Malin wire for bite leaders I don't do much 49 strand unless I'm specifically targeting sharks which are getting scarcer here in Indonesia with shark fin attracting high prices.
I saw the crimper on your website and it looks like a great alternative to carrying my Jinkai crimper which I always worry about getting too much rust as it cost a lot plus it takes up a lot of space.
I'm sure there will be a learning curve to use it properly but having a video from you showing what does and doesn't work under proper test conditions will be a big help. Let's face it, as pretty as the crimps from the Jinkai tool look the only testing I can do is a good hard tug then the real test is under fishing conditions.
In any case, getting close to 100% isn't all that critical. If my leader connections on 100lb line can hold 80% that's still 60% stronger than my 50lb main line. If I'm using bigger main line then I will be using bigger leaders.
Nice to see you active again.

Awesome video. Do you have any plans to make a micro style crimping tool that can crimp single barrel crimps down to a size 1 AFW for single and multi strand 30-40-50lb titanium leader?

i have one of these crimpers and we need an updated expanded video. I understand how to crimp a large aluminum crimp, but it would be nice to see how you are crimping double barrel copper crimps. And there is no explanation on what the 3mm male recess crimp is used for
(AND by the way, why the hell is there is a "zero" or "theta" symbol in front of these measurements?? ie, "03mm female recess". -- why not just 3mm recess ??? )
