@@peachout6227 sure you can, anything is possible. The aspects cyberpunk gets right are probably top in the gaming now. Incredible story, animations, soundtrack, design, art, etc. They have issues with ai, rpg mechanics etc. Are things that can totally be remade and improved upon.

The developers jumped over mountains after they lost their honor. To deliver a great game for their "consumer" They should receive a 10/10 imho. Other developers need to take notes honestly.

The only truly big thing missing is planetary rotation in which they explained why they removed it. They'll find some way to dissect it into something else like fallout 76 and somehow try to make it work their way. Rather than create a high quality original title like Skyrim or fallout new vegas. They have become cliche in what they make.

if you want great single player experiences that blow your mind: subnautica, outer wilds and hollow knight are my personal favourites. In any case, you wont regret playing them
at this rate star citizen need's a lot of catching up to do. They have been moving at a snail pace for production since the start and they have made enough money to fund the ambition 100x over.

I’ve been wanting there to be cities in this game for a long time. Hello Games went beyond what I was wanting and basically is allowing us to build the cities ourselves. These guys/gals are the greatest comeback in gaming I’ve ever heard.

It was never lies. It was apparently due to Sony not allowing it to be delayed after they had to rebuild the game half way through cause something went wrong. It’s more like from a curse to something better. I don’t know

The fun part is that the Internet Historian can easily extend the video with another 4-5 minutes of footage of the new updates that released after the video was recorded.
If they advertised No Man's Sky like how Genshin Impact or Minecraft advertises itself, by not promising everything in the first release and hyping people through giant updates, it probably would've been a very successful game from the get-go
I commented this else where but their servers and progress in production was destory because of a flood destroying their work on the game had to remake a lot of stuff with a deadline that sony pressured to keep. I blame Sony for its poor launch rather than hello games who was just doing their best to meet the deadline.
Don't know if you're still acrive on your account but that's partly it. The other part is that Hello Games delayed the game so much to work on fixing stuff that Sony wouldn't let them delay the game again, which led to HG cutting content and releasing what they had.
The audio from the sound effects in this trailer sounds amazing! I was hyped for it, avoided the cluster truck that was their launch, and watched curiously at all of the updates since. Now I might be sold.
Honestly massive respect to the devs for what they done for this game. Could of easily took their money and ran away, but instead have turned this into an masterpiece and free of charge

Honestly the game released on my birthday 4 years ago and I was dissapointed to the point I didn't even want to buy it anymore. To the entire development team I have this to say today. Great job at sticking to your word in the end. Because PC has been "feeling it" for several years now. Console is finally catching up to what a high end 2017 gaming PC could do. This is just an update to take advantage of the extra power in the PS5/XBSX.
Bought this game day one just because of the hypothetical size of the environment youre in. When i heard that if you spent a second on every planet, it would take millions of years to just visit every single one. I knew it would be great one day. Havent played in about a year or so but i just remember the experience of seeing other players for the first time in the anomaly. A crowd of players surrounded my ship (probably from seeing S class ship here for the first time bc there werent any others there.) Loved the game then and still love what theyre doing. Keep it up 👍
I seem to have more respect for Star citizen than most do, and I'm not even a backer lol. The ambition of star citizen is not something easily understood. No offense to no man's sky but the two cannot be compared. It's like comparing a hot wheels toy car to a real Ferrari.

Such thing as forgiveness. What they promised and first released was not ok. That said, the fact they fixed their wrongs and didn't give up and actually IMPROVED the game is amazing. One of the biggest comeback games of the decade.

Anything where you can walk around and inhabit a world while looking and seeing other real people doing similar things, that is essentially an MMO. Where do we even draw the line? if you can play with 35+ people at a time, it's the same experience as an MMO, outside of the most extreme raids and guild vs. guild/faction vs. faction content. stop acting like a bunch of pedantic wet blankets.

I would be more interested in this game of they just added boots on the ground combat, not just aerial combat. We could fight space pirates, dangerous creatures, and other interlopers. This game is just dying to have gun-based combat to really tie it all together.
If you told me back at launch that I’d be watching a trailer for a no mans sky update with a huge smile on my face in 2020, I’d have called you a mad man. Yet here I am. I have massive respect for all the devs putting in all this hard work to make the game what they always wanted it to be and sticking with it, unlike so many other game companies
I pre-ordered this game knowing that stuff like this was possible eventually, as unlikely as it seemed on release. I couldn't think of any other major fps game that let me fly from planet to planet without mods.
@@ninjaunic0rn Star Citizen can't even fix the Hornet shields so don't bother making such a bold statement. Star Citizen is a long way from anything near NMS. You can't build bases or harvest materials to sell/reprocess for building materials. You can't fly to any different system as it only has 1 and a new one is still in development which would still total 2 systems and I'm kinda sure NMS has a lot more than that... There are no other lifeforms than you or the players. That means no aliens or animals. Has no real survival mechanic, lack of in depth gaming loops, overpriced ships to get people invest real money into the game and "pledge". Their game direction has changed so much in the past years that their true Identity as Star Citizen has become just a shadow of what was once dreamed off. Instead the focus lies on a Singleplayer Campaign game and feeding their hungry whales with lousy little tidbits of skins, tiny upgrades or even content no one litterally asked for. Prison system, loading/unloading of cargo, tedious mining mini game, ruined smuggling/drugtrafficking. I loved SC and the idea it originally had as one of the most promised Sci-Fi universe but instead of this wide open space with a plethora of ships it's just a small boxed in area with a number of ships you can afford as a regular player. No thanks. Time for CR show some color and give back to their pledgers instead of sucking everyone dry for a lot of theorycrafting and barely anything to show for
I had this game preordered for months before it was released. I played it for a while then got bored, noticing how lacking it was. But I've never deleted it from my HD, because I saw the potential. This is exciting, I've been looking forward to a full fledged No Man's Sky, and I'll be picking the controller back up for this.

if you want great single player experiences that blow your mind: subnautica, outer wilds and hollow knight are my personal favourites. In any case, you wont regret playing them

at this rate star citizen need's a lot of catching up to do. They have been moving at a snail pace for production since the start and they have made enough money to fund the ambition 100x over.

I am, too. They kept working and improving it until it's in a state where it's a fun game. It still has its issues, but it has come a long long way since launch.

It was never lies. It was apparently due to Sony not allowing it to be delayed after they had to rebuild the game half way through cause something went wrong.

Most of them turned out to be delayed truths rather than liess.
If they advertised No Man's Sky like how Genshin Impact or Minecraft advertises itself, by not promising everything in the first release and hyping people through giant updates, it probably would've been a very successful game from the get-go
I commented this else where but their servers and progress in production was destory because of a flood destroying their work on the game had to remake a lot of stuff with a deadline that sony pressured to keep. I blame Sony for its poor launch rather than hello games who was just doing their best to meet the deadline.

Don't know if you're still acrive on your account but that's partly it. The other part is that Hello Games delayed the game so much to work on fixing stuff that Sony wouldn't let them delay the game again, which led to HG cutting content and releasing what they had.
The audio from the sound effects in this trailer sounds amazing! I was hyped for it, avoided the cluster truck that was their launch, and watched curiously at all of the updates since. Now I might be sold.

Honestly the game released on my birthday 4 years ago and I was dissapointed to the point I didn't even want to buy it anymore. To the entire development team I have this to say today. Great job at sticking to your word in the end. I started a few hours ago based on the recent changes and you actually came through so I'm seeing this as a birthday present during covid while I'm trying to keep my sanity. This is pretty refreshing.

Bought this game day one just because of the hypothetical size of the environment youre in. When i heard that if you spent a second on every planet, it would take millions of years to just visit every single one. I knew it would be great one day. Havent played in about a year or so but i just remember the experience of seeing other players for the first time in the anomaly. A crowd of players surrounded my ship (probably from seeing S class ship here for the first time bc there werent any others there.) Loved the game then and still love what theyre doing. Keep it up 👍

I seem to have more respect for Star citizen than most do, and I'm not even a backer lol. The ambition of star citizen is not something easily understood. No offense to no man's sky but the two cannot be compared. It's like comparing a hot wheels toy car to a real Ferrari.

There has always been one feature that I really wish would be added. And that is to be able to get a life size hologram of some sort of creatures you find so you can show them off to people

Anything where you can walk around and inhabit a world while looking and seeing other real people doing similar things, that is essentially an MMO. Where do we even draw the line? if you can play with 35+ people at a time, it's the same experience as an MMO, outside of the most extreme raids and guild vs. guild/faction vs. faction content. stop acting like a bunch of pedantic wet blankets.

I’m so glad I got into this game when I did. This looks amazing! No Man’s Sky really is going to beat Star Citizen to its own vision.
I would be more interested in this game of they just added boots on the ground combat, not just aerial combat. We could fight space pirates, dangerous creatures, and other interlopers. This game is just dying to have gun-based combat to really tie it all together.
The way things are going, it might as well be the next big update

I still remember my excitement when seeing this game will be launched on PS4 back in 2013...
If you told me back at launch that I’d be watching a trailer for a no mans sky update with a huge smile on my face in 2020, I’d have called you a mad man. Yet here I am. I have massive respect for all the devs putting in all this hard work to make the game what they always wanted it to be and sticking with it, unlike so many other game companies
I pre-ordered this game knowing that stuff like this was possible eventually, as unlikely as it seemed on release.
I couldn't think of any other major fps game that let me fly from planet to planet without mods.
Same...i actualy binge played it for 20 hours whichin my eyes already made it worth its money...all else has been a bonus

@@ninjaunic0rn Star Citizen can't even fix the Hornet shields so don't bother making such a bold statement. Star Citizen is a long way from anything near NMS. You can't build bases or harvest materials to sell/reprocess for building materials. You can't fly to any different system as it only has 1 and a new one is still in development which would still total 2 systems and I'm kinda sure NMS has a lot more than that... There are no other lifeforms than you or the players. That means no aliens or animals. Has no real survival mechanic, lack of in depth gaming loops, overpriced ships to get people invest real money into the game and "pledge". Their game direction has changed so much in the past years that their true Identity as Star Citizen has become just a shadow of what was once dreamed off. Instead the focus lies on a Singleplayer Campaign game and feeding their hungry whales with lousy little tidbits of skins, tiny upgrades or even content no one litterally asked for. Prison system, loading/unloading of cargo, tedious mining mini game, ruined smuggling/drugtrafficking. I loved SC and the idea it originally had as one of the most promised Sci-Fi universe but instead of this wide open space with a plethora of ships it's just a small boxed in area with a number of ships you can afford as a regular player. No thanks. Time for CR show some color and give back to their pledgers instead of sucking everyone dry for a lot of theorycrafting and barely anything to show for

I had this game preordered for months before it was released. I played it for a while then got bored, noticing how lacking it was. But I've never deleted it from my HD, because I saw the potential. This is exciting, I've been looking forward to a full fledged No Man's Sky, and I'll be picking the controller back up for this.
