I think you found your buckshot load!! This is about the best performance I've ever seen out of factory loads. As long as these results are consistent and unless you plan on joining the reloading club, I'd buy a few cases of the same lot number. Congratulations on finding a winner! Keep up the good work Sir

It was definitely surprising, especially for a Remington shell. I think they have just changed the way they load them to include the wad, which really helps. I'd be willing to bet we will see a new fancy box for them too at some point soon if that's the case

@@matttyreeoutdoors I had some old Remington Express 00 buck that had a similar wad. Those gave me the best results out of factory buckshot, still not as good as your results though. I'd definitely stock up on those before they get popular, scarce, and expensive lol.

I use the remington 00 or winchester Supreme double X in my remington 1100 fixed modified choke and get great patterns

It was definitely pretty surprising. Usually I'm not a huge fan of Remington shotshells, but these seem to be some good loads

I've gotten 5 deer 1 shot drops with remington and I use the sluggers as well

When did you buy that box man? I got a box about a year and half ago and when I opened up a shell, there was no wad. It was loaded with a gas seal and fiber wad with buffer. They must have recently changed the way they load it.

I just picked up a couple boxes a few days ago, so they might have changed the loading

My question is... how are they stacking 9 pellets in a full length wad with ribs in it?? 8 pellets X 2s then a lone survivor on top? Not that it really matters, because the results were great. 9 pellet is usually an old school gas seal and fiber wad loading stacked by 3s, like the shotgun scientists mentioned. Anyway, keep up the good work

@@joearledge1 they’re probably using .32 cal like most other manufacturers do

@@theshotgunscientists yeah, but I still wouldn't think it would stack by 3s with the ribs in the wad. Either way, whatever they're doing seems to work pretty well

Depends on the shot size. The 9 pellet 00buck uses the wad, the 16 pellets 1B does not.
