11 Day Tahoma 31 Update

- Hey guys, Adam here and today I'm back at my old man's place to see how the Tahoma 31 is coming along.
I want to be able to get the cylinder mower out onto it as soon as possible, so in this video, I give it a light scarify and topdress.

music too loud! omg hard to watch, good looking turf though, the Makita scalped the new turf, almost looks like the blades werent sharp. late to the vid though i know, gr8 job on leveling it w the sand, most homeowners dont follow thru on this step.
Was this laid over any underlay like 80/20 etc or was it just laid straight down?
Can you sprigg with the scarifyings?
Hi mate, in the previous video on this mini series I spoke about the underlay which was an 80/20 sandy loam. I also made little contours in the green so it wasn't completely flat.
You could absolutely sprig with the material brough up from the scarifier.
Just laid my back yard with tahoma 31 wanting to do the front. Only issue is my neighbors have common Bermuda will this overpower theirs or will my tahoma be overrun?

Hi Adam, Tahoma 31 vs Sir Grange Zoysia, which one would you choose? I initially had Sir Grange Zoysia as my choice as I wanted a less maintenance (less mowing), shade resistant, drought effective and fine soft grass. The builder is now recommending Tahoma 31 due to supply issues. Any advise is appreciated.
Hi, I personally haven't had any experience with Sir Grange Zoysia but I do know it can sometimes to be difficult to get establish. Tahoma 31 on the other hand had no issues establishing and it had been on a pallet for 5 days. I think you wont be disappointed with either grass but I reckon Tahoma 31 would be a much easier grass to look after.

Absolutely mate, I use it quite often and is a good tool to have in the line up.
No disrespect but this page used to be really good & filled with knowledge that maxy would spread, especially product knowledge. I’d like to see Adam get away from “showing off his lawn” like the Facebook stories are the worst, just constant Adam talking about his tahoma31 I’d like to see it get back to the products. I like clints vids because he addresses every day problems & avoids the show off side of things.
Hey mate next video I do is all about products to apply at this time of year. The reason we have been pumping a lot of Tahoma 31 content out lately is because we have received a lot of questions regarding it, so we are just showing what it can do.
Please Adam re edit the sound levels and re upload this vid mate. Its quiet when your talking and blasting me out of the lounge room with the music
