      No, the Yankees don't do business better than anyone! The Yankees do have more championships than any other sports franchise but that's not necessarily because they do business better than anybody else. They have and have always had a lot of advantages over every other team such as the fact that they are from the biggest city in America. You don't even have to have a business major from Harvard to realize that such advantages like those will make it easier to put together a better team than everybody else. I'm a Dodgers fan and likewise we are not far behind and so I admit that we too have an advantage over many other teams due to the size of our city. Point blank, It's like a Paris Hilton challenging a Wal-Mart clerk to a car race with the only rule being that the car used has to be directly owned. Of course Paris would have an advantage since she can afford to purchase any car in the world but nobody would dare say it's because she's a better businesswoman now would they!

    Angels will not figure it out with Moreno as owner and the people he has employed from top to bottom. Angels are a dysfunctional franchise that can’t develop or sign players and keep them healthy. They lucked into trout and ohtani. They can easily supply their farm system like no other by trading them. They’ve thrown money at FAs for years and they haven’t won a playoff game since 09

    • @andrewbees5705
      @andrewbees5705 2 года назад +2

      The angels and especially arte moreno are idiots. The smartest thing they could do is put the pettiness aside and trade ohtani to the dodgers. The dodgers would probably be willing to give up so much because I think Andrew Friedman would value how much it is that he hits and pitches you get a 2 for 1 basically. I think he’d be willing to give like 3-4 out of his top 5 prospects and other lower ones and maybe a Tony gonsolin or Dustin may for ohtani . The dodgers farm is deep so that could really set the angels up for many years and getting a young mlb proven arm in either gonsolin or may. With years of control still, the angels would be dumb not to talk to LA, ohtani is a free agent after next year he’s leaving .:: the angels are dysfunctional no way this guy stays it’s clear in his interviews he’s out ..
      Also the dodgers owners would realize how big ohtani is in Japan and what a draw/ money maker he is so that’d add to their approval .. overall it just makes sense but arte moreno would never allow it

    the obsession with prospects in baseball is fascinating to me. Its not like you trade them away and you will never, ever get more. There is a draft every single year and there is also an fresh international class every single year. You can always find more prospects. But finding another Ohtani? Not going to find another. Finding another Juan Soto? The kid is an all timer. What are the chances those prospects become anything like either of those guys? Slim, imo. So its easy for me. Trade the prospects, get the stud.

    You can never have enough pitching and so happens Ohtani can also hit.
    As for Soto i read the rumors and laugh at those proposed trade offers Sandiego's top 3 prospects are not good prospects in my book i would turn down that offer in 1 second flat.Nats should go after Ohtani and try and keep Soto unless they can get some pitching legit pitching not prospects from single A ball lol.

    Shocker. Hes not being traded. So heres what i anticipated from tve start. Ohtani gets offered a huge extension this off season, and A) he accepts it and everyone who isnt an Angels fan stays salty. B) He declines and the Angels are going to basically take another team to the cleaners in a trade- your going to need to give up the farm for this guy - all of them.

    Dodgers need Ohtani; we don't need Soto and his low batting average this year and besides that he wants too many prospects. Ohtani, no question is the guy to get IF the Angels are really interested in trading him.

      You’re a causal .. soto this season has a OPS+ of 158 and OBP of .408…. Juan Soto career OBP and OPS+ is way higher than othani and his career average is also higher… I doubt othani can keep this level of play for another 10+ Years…. Soto also hits good pitching as he led the nationals to a World Series while Hitting HRs off kershaw, verlander, Cole…

      @@HoopZKiLa Soto will fit in much better with the cocky Padres; he like Machado don't like to hustle. I wish the Angels were ready to trade Othani but they were not; with Othani we could get a pitcher and a hitter and he isn't cocky like Soto.

    Ohtani is as close to being a God of baseball if not already. The Angels management must take Shohei seriously. Either shower him with honor (stop killing Ohtani by surrounding him with poor casts, it's totally disrespectful) and give him fortune (60 or ? millions x 8 yrs)
    or else release him. True baseball fans need to understand a baseball genius like Shohei comes only once in a century. IOO years from now, future fans will look back and said, "wow, Shohei was magic, rarest air ever, he is the one and only gone with the wind like Pegasus!"
