    Have oranges and no clue what to do with them. Voice in my head was wondering if I could make orange curd because if I had lemons, that's what I'd want to make.
    So, thanks to RUclips, I found your video and plan to make orange curd. Thanks for sharing!

    Can you tell me the small ratio..I want to make with 1 egg yolk

      sure. I cannot promise it will work as that is a very small quantity to try to keep the egg from curdling.
      1 large egg yolk
      1 tsp Cornstarch
      1 tsp orange zest
      1 tsp lemon zest
      5 Tbsp Orange Juice
      1.5 tsp Lemon Juice
      1.5 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
      1.5 Tbsp Cold Cubed Butter
      1 pinch of salt
      best of luck 😊

    Hi tks for sharing this recipe! I don't understand your logic 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp orange juice? Isn't 3/4 cup orange juice enough?

      @cakemom9705  4 года назад +1

      thank you for the comment! the extra 2 tbsp does make a difference! basically you need 1 C of juice and you are traiding 2 Tbsp of the cup out for Lemon juice. if you don't use the lemon juice it is 1 full cup of orange juice or if you only use the 3/4 C of orange juice you will need to use 4 Tbsp of lemon juice. It all depends on the flavor you want ♡.

      @@cakemom9705 oh I see. Your 2 tbsp is the lemon juice cos your recipe stated orange juice. Now it makes sense. Tks

      Yes, you would double all the ingredients, but making a double batch can sometimes be difficult to get to set. I would recommend making 2 separate batches.
