I love your skill, kindness, your amazing sayings, and your sense of humor. I love butter and wine too, I always measure carefully, 😅 not! Bless you and keep cooking for us for another 50 years.
My late Moms favourite dessert in the world was Lemon Meringue, I`ve made it for Her countless times over the years and the curd recipe i used was virtually identical to Chef`s recipe. It`s amazing, i just wish that my Mom was still here so i could make it for her and see Her face light up as She tucked into the crispy meringue piped topping. RIP Mom, love you. x

can't wait for the lemon tiramisu episode. I'm going to make the curd this weekend for sure. Lemon is, and always has been, my favorite flavor. Thank you, Chef!
I have great friend from France with your name, Jean Pierre. He gave me the exact same recepie few years ago, never had a better lemon curd in my life, before or after ,so i make it home. Delight ! ❤
I am growing Meyer lemon trees. I love finding great recipes to use the lemons. Thank you for making cooking fun!! I love watching you. You are such a great teacher!!!

Well finally I have a tasty use for my basin-maria which I found when unpacking a moving box which was in storage for three years. I am a lemon aficionado.
I love lemon curd and can't wait to make this! I made your crunchy brownies for the second time yesterday, and made a slight change this time...I took an idea from your chocolate chunk cookies (which we LOVE), and replaced 1/4 cup if the sugar, with light brown sugar. I figured it would make them more 'carmelly', especially with the heath bits in them. DELICIOUS!!!! Confession, they are almost gone! By the way, THANK YOU for making the notation, in order to double or triple the recipe...you are the BOMB!!! WE LOVE YOU and look forward to Monday's and Thursday's. Saw the bowl of sweet potatoes on your counter...hmmm, wondering if we will see a new sweet potato dish this week? Thanks to Jack for confirming the lack of the after video exchange between you two...that's almost as much fun. As watching you teach us. 😂😂😂😋😋😋😍😍😍
Been making my own lemon curd for several years now; used to be intimidated by it, but once you make it yourself you never go back to store bought. I like to use it on top of my cheesecake. Love your videos
I love making lemon pies. This recipe for lemon curd is a wonderful change in place of my meringue!! I’ve never made a curd. Thank you Chef!!! Please don’t stop your amazing videos!!!!!!
That's exactly how my mother used to make her lemon curd when she was putting together her lemon sour cream pie! Best pie ever with her homemade pie shell! 🥰
Chef Jean Pierre -- my lovely wife made this the very next day. We served it with pound cake (we had in the freezer). Oh my -- absolutely superb! Not too sweet, plenty of lemon flavor, and a perfect complement to the rich, delicate pound cake. Yet another recipe for the catalog!
Good morning Chef J-P, nothing as delicious and zingy as home made lemon curd. The curd looks so delicious and smooth could eat it with a spoon, just a little bit and make lemon merengue with the rest, just tasting for the flavour :) happy days, love your cooking shows and telling us how "to" . Kind regards.
My goodness that looks good. Thank you, I loved the video, and my grandma used to make lemon curd, and I miss her and her cooking in the kitchen in all things!!
I never knew how easy it is to make lemon curd until now! I will definitely make it at home from now on, thanx to you, Chef, for the thorough and easy instructions!! Stay safe everyone! Peace ✌🏻
I'm in the hospital right now being injected poked and prodded, having all kinds of ugly tests, my arms are all different colors of green, blue, and purple and the FOOD IS TERRIBLE! I want to March downstairs to the kitchen and help those chefs cook. Some of the things they make could be very good with just a few adjustments. The thing I think is so weird is they put a can of Pepsi on every tray, every meal. But watching you and hearing your voice is getting me through this. Thank you for being so positive and cheerful ❤

I have a Lemon Curd recipe from several years ago. I would much rather make it from a professional chef's recipe than one that was sent into a magazine. I LOVE lemons, so this will be a real treat for me. Is there any way you can show us how you make Lemon Tiramisu? Never tried that but would love to. Update: I made this lemon curd recipe last night..easy to make and it tasted perfect! Can't wait to see how much more the flavors have developed overnight! Thank you Chef!!
Very nice, much easier this way than with a bain marie. First time I made lemon curd I used a glass bowl over boiling water, and as I was mixing it the glass cracked and lost the whole batch (and it was a large batch as I used 8 eggs!).

What a great recipe, I love lemon. As for needing a less strong burner, they make things called flame tamers that sort of work, but if you don't have one, you can stack one of you stove grates on top of another and use that. Obviously make sure it is stable and isn't too high. Mine stack stably to be about 1.5" taller and lets me use a medlow flame that won't blow out and still cook. Its only down side is it effectively prevents cooking on the rest of your stove at the same time.
I definitely now don’t feel so intimidated to make some of this! Thank you for the encouragement! PS: Yes, I’m one of those missing the end credit scene, I hope they make a comeback!

I grew up watching Julia Childs and the Galloping Gourmet but Chef Jean-Pierre is right up there, both in cooking skills and entertainment value.
The Galloping Gourmet was fun to watch. Since a weeks worth of shows were filmed in one day, the wine he drank while filming left him pretty plastered by the Friday show.
