      I had an '05 LE for 15 years. I maintained it very well. Sold it at 218,000 miles...ran like new. The most trouble-free car on Earth. Now...I have a 2020 Camry LE. Toyota..."great cars for the money."

    The Camry never disappoints. I don't fancy all the styling elements, but overall it's a very handsome car. I hope the sun visors are up to snuff.

    I’m happy that a base model car doesn’t mean you’re penalized for features and style. They make the playing field even so you can pick the one YOU want, not forced into higher trims because you’re missing a bunch of things

    We have a 2011 Camry XLE V6 with 289,000 miles

      The V6 will go easily to 500K if it is maintained properly. We put 587K on our Avalon (08) with same V6 and gave it a way. Still worth every penny

      @@beekaye1496 Didn’t the older ones have timing chains or belts that went bad eventually? I never owned one but remember people saying staying on maintenance at higher mileage became very important for those

    Your reviews are so crisp and precise. I don't have time to fanny around with 20 minute videos. As for the Camry, I dig it - bring back the cool sedans even if it does look like a humpback whale from the front.

    Lynn does a great job with these review videos! Question: usually blackout trim is a higher end or sportier model. Is that true here? I love blackout trim which is why I ask.

    My 2017 Toyota Camry LE with 66k miles has only had the battery and wipers replaced in 7 years. It's my 2030 car. I can imagine how incredible the 2030 model will be 😎

    I thoroughly enjoy the CAI induction sound, pep, and stealthiness of my "13 2GR-FE Camry appliance.
    Though unlike the previous generation, for me this new Camry would be a worthy upgrade.

    I’m in the market for a vehicle. I’ve always heard do not get a car in its first year of a new model. Considering the ‘25 Camry basically has the same frame/build as a ‘24 Camry, does this rule of thumb go out the window?

      It definitely depends. In this case, for the reason you listed, it's probably safe. This is using the brand new 5th generation of their hybrid system, so it's very much proven at this point.

    V6 to this you will definitely feel the power struggle the battery in this is not designed to give you instant torque it's more for gas saving purposes not for power

      Maybe not again since the V6 is discontinued. The Camry TRD was kind of special. It handled much better than I ever expected.

      There is a strong possibility that either a TRD Camry or GR Camry will come later with the 340 hp Hybrid Max powertrain from the Crown and Grand Highlander. No official word yet.

    I think the 232 figure is actually the HP for AWD, not torque. Toyota hasn't published combined torque #s but the engine produces only 163 lb.-ft.

    Kind of a odd ergonomics the way the passenger side dash blocks access to the USB Charge ports and makes it more driver centric. Just what the driver doesn't needs more distractions while driving.

      That’s the way to go! I used to have a 2019 Camry XSE in windchill Pearl/midnight black with the cockpit red leather interior. I got so many compliments on it.

    I have a 2017 Camry Camry SE and I love it. Not thrilled with Toyota switching to CVTs. I've had a car (another brand) with a CVT and hated it, and the transmission was always giving me problems. My current car has a 6-speed automatic, and I dont like cars getting less ground clearance. It makes it harder to get into and out. I had a friend that just bought a Toyota Crown Limited. Beautiful car and rides higher

    This lady really needs to focus on her notes before making this video because she was mentioning features that are actually standard across the board and saying it’s an upgrade charge, such as the Blindspot monitor, lane keeping assist, and other features..

    That's a very good review.
    The design of the new Camry has changed significantly, but I think it's good. However, I think the space in the back seat is a little small.
    The 2.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid uses Toyota's latest generation hybrid system, and I believe it offers powerful driving, excellent fuel efficiency, and environmental performance.

    Your power number seems off. Toyota has said 225 for FWD and 232 for AWD. To my knowledge, they haven't listed torque numbers.

    What Toyota should do is add a line entry on the Moroney that says "Suggested Dealer Market Adjustment" that would tell customers that the corporate office is aware that customers are getting hosed. IMHO Great review!!

    I hate that I can't get the 16inch wheels in xle and get 50+ mpg. I don't understand why people want ugly huge rims when they hurt fuel economy and ride comfort

      We own two Rav 4 Primes with the eCVT. It is far superior to the 8 speed. It has planetary gears not belts and pulley.

    The gen Camry looks really good, esp in SE and XSE trims. Initially, I hated the cheese grater grille, but it looks good in those 2 trims due to the honeycomb. The new Accord just doesn't look right. It's side profile/silhouette looks like a hatchback---not a fan of that look

    Camry has come a long way since 1983. Prior to this, the vehicle was known as the Corona, which goes back to 1957! Few companies can match Toyota reliability.

    But they don't give you all the safety features on all the trim lines. For 2024, Honda Accord gives you all of the features regardless of the trim line.

    Honestly, looking at those gas mileage numbers.. the AWD models really don't make any sense to pay extra for unless you absolutely need it. If think the overwhelming majority of Americans should just get the FWD.

    Camry 2014 and 2023 Hybrid with me
    The Camry 2026 model probably will replace 2011.

    I cannot believe that Toyota did not learn their lesson with the previous Camry. The lesson is that if you're going to be producing a car for people it needs to have all of the safety features on all of the trim lines.
    Honda failed to provide all the safety features for the 2023 model. But they corrected that for 2024, and all cars get all the safety features, including blind side monitoring and Lane keep assist. I could not buy the new Toyota because they cheapened out for the least expensive models.

    All vehicles need to become hybrid. Honda should have been the leader and done this to the Accord first, not half hybrid and half not. Hopefully soon the Accord will drop all ICE only engines and go hybrid only as well. I currently drive a Honda hybrid and won't own another ICE again. Driving is believing. Save the planet, drive hybrids ( and eventually electric only on sustainable electricity).

      @@williamguillIII that's correct. They have ICE only models. I'm hoping they are smart enough to remove those and do the Hybrids only. I drive a Honda hybrid now and wouldn't want anything else. ICE only is on its way out. Unfortunately Toyota seems to be more aggressive on getting rid of ICE only sedans. Honda needs to get on it more quickly.

      @@jeffreyfurtado3681 I'm pretty sure the first mass produced hybrid was by Honda with the Insight in 1999 in the US a few months prior to Toyota producing the Prius in 2020. And prior to that there were plenty of experimental hybrids dating back to when Porsche produced the first on record in 1899.

    Toyota has really been cheaping out on a lot of their cars lately. The RAV4, the Sequoia, etc. The Camry is one of the few cars they never cheap out on, and glad to see that trend continue as it looks really nice and well put together.
