You ROCK!! Thanks for the tips! And the info about your boxes. They are beautiful. Question can you to d tutorial of the essential “business” equipment needed for Lable making and cutting. Like a circuit. I’ve never used one but is it essential and a how to use it to make and print labels at home. Please. If you use it. Thank you in advance if this question relates to you
Those are the kind of thermal pouches you get with Martha Stewart's Marley & Me meal kits. I had tons of those saved, but my husband threw them out. Darn! Great idea btw!!
hello Tiana Coats How are you? Can you do a video about how you get your customer know what candles to order and when they email you what they want do you email the list of what the fragrances names is and what colours?
hi! I love your videos! I'm trying to start my own candle business and you help so so much. I've been doing so much research trying to figure out what the white "frosting" is that you put on top of all of your candles but I can't figure it out:((( can u please let me know what it is!?
You make it with plain wax. You wait until it solidifies a bit then put it on a piping bag or ziplock and cut a hole in the corner and “frost” it like a real cupcake.
I know you've probably answered this question somewhere, but I can't find it! Where did you buy your customized boxes? I've been looking to get some made, but big companies want a 250$ set up fee then buy 1000 boxes. I have a great business, but that's a little much!
You can purchase USPS shipping through Shopify or Etsy. Some of my students also use Pirate Ship for shipping. It's actually cheaper to purchase from these sites compared to buying directly through the USPS website.
That’s what I get confused on! I know first class is anything under a pound priority is a pound and up so when I add all the ice packs it will be priority because of the weight but what if the customer picks first class? so do I have to put my custom boxes in priority mailer?
I live in a hot place so I would test my shipping method by leaving a packed candle in a hot garage or something for a couple of days. I have never used very soft waxes due to the potential of melting, but you could always test to see if this works for your candles.
I don’t do this anymore. I used to have decorative top candles that towered over the container, and this is one thing I tried out. My current recipe ships in the summer with no extra packing needed.
@@TianaCoats ohhh that's cool. Glad it worked out 😅 I've been binge watching your videos. I am also interested in making candles 😋 you give great advice and I hope you're doing well in all aspects ...despite...the pandemic 💀
This was the most helpful video ever! wish I had watched yours first!! Thank you!
Thank you Tiana for the great tips!

What about soy wax? Is it okay to ship during the summer? Or should I consider getting a different wax?
Wondering the same but assuming we need it. Soy is pretty soft. I use 464.
Love the box
Where did you personalize your boxes?
Exactly!! So cute, I wanna know also.
She said further down the comments section that she got her boxes from Packlane (but she did the design).
I live in a hot country what kind of wax do you recommend to start with?
According to personal research you want gel wax. But you also have to buy gel wax specific color and scent

Hi thank you for al the advice I enjoy look at you tutorials
Hi. I was wondering what were the dimensions of the box you used from packlane were? Your candle looks about the size I use.
Hi do you have to freeze these ice packs or are these the instant cold ones (squeeze and use)? I’m having a hard time finding good ones in my area
Are the options for shipping you were talking about on shopify? Or is it through USPS?

Any ideas on shipping coconut wax which is very soft?

Thanks! 🕯❤️🕯😷

Hi where can I get those hard wax from and u say we can used beeswax too
What kind of wax do you use?
Beautiful package. Could you share the box company??
How do you ship them if they aren't in a jar and there like an animal candle or a candle pillar?
Can you ship the mailer buy itself or do you need to put it in another package??
What is the hardest paraffin wax you would recommend to start out with
How long does the ice pack last?
Tina where did you order your package box?
Where did you get your custom boxes from ?
They are from Packlane. I designed them.
Tiana Coats thank you!!
Are you going to do another candle class soon ?
Yes ma'am! Very soon
What does it look like on the other end? Post office tears up packages so bad!
If my shop candle in Saudi Arabia and my customers from dubai the ice brix will hold on it is OK the candle won't melt?
What type of wax do you use that you need an ice pack?
I don’t do this anymore. I used to have decorative top candles that towered over the container, and this is one thing I tried out. My current recipe ships in the summer with no extra packing needed.
