- Simplicity 8044 Bunny - An easy pattern, great for beginners and children. I’ve enlarged the pattern . The fur Is a loose weave fabric, so combined with all the curves, this makes i a tricky project to sew , but have a go - you'll make a great new friend 💕

This where my sewing machine world began 😊 I started with a felt elephant, moved onto cotton elephants, bears, foxes and eventually onto minki animals 😂😂 I quickly learned that making animals is problematic because the minute you turned them the right side out, they have a character and this makes it impossible to throw them out, even if they are not good enough to give away. I very quickly ended up with my own Zoo 😂😂😂

I must get this pattern. I am a breeder of rabbits as well as a sewer, and this would be just perfect since it resembles the breed I keep, the miniature lop.
Hadn't even thought about sewing a bunny or any stuffie. (Since I'm a knitter also, that's where I go for those.) You expand my sewing world. Thanks again, Abi! 💜

I was just wondering how much you enlarged the pattern?
I can enlarge my patterns on my printer by scanning and saving as a PDF file but this is only possible on a home printer providing the pieces fit A4 paper.

I didn't realise how large this would be when I bought the pattern. Promised a friend a Bunny made from a Star Wars fabric he liked...it's going to be VERY expensive haha

@@AbisDen I’m just a new sewer and I learn best by seeing what I’m doing and I’m using a cotton/poly-cotton fabric rather than a fuzzy one like the one used here. I’ve just been looking for a video of the specific one to help me feel a little less nervous as I’m just recently starting out!
