And why tf does it have a disrupted mudguard?
This is bad design for 2 obvious reasons:
1. Water will splash through the massive hole and into your back and legs
2. The structural strength is compromised by not having the for free structural support of a monolithic structure and it's now much more vulnerable to oscilations in the frequency of a few hz to tens of hz... basic driving and pothole frequencies.
These oscillations will definitely lead to the mudguard to shear off
