2k is actually confused by many it ranges from basic 1920x1080 being called 2k to 2560 x 1440 resolution so it depends really what they mean as 1080 is x4 to get to 4k but less on 1440p

For $200 more dollars, maybe I'll go for the Focus 3 for the 5k resolution. Wider field of view, & sd card slot expansion. Also, why did you say 2 hours of battery when the vive website says up to 15 hours?

Valve Index resolution is pretty bad compared to newer 4k headsets. There's a big difference in clarity. Valve is working on something new though. Hope it comes out next year.

4k total view? No do your math and proper research. It's not 4k at all. Here's the math... 1920 per eye meaning 2x 1920*1920 is not 4k. Ok so 1920*1080 x 2 is not 4k. 4k is 4x 1920*1080. So your going by width 3840 yeah ok which is the width of 4k but the 1920 is not 4k it's 2160. This headset is a total of 3840*1920, you can't tell me that's 4k.

Just want to point out that 2k times 2 is not 4k, that is not how it works, one 2k display has one 4th the amount of pixels as a 4k, not half!
Also each eye getting 2k doesn't mean you get more resolution over all. Each eye is still seeing 2k, just in stereo.

On one hand, nice to see that more compact size of the Vive Flow made it to a more pc vr centric headset.

The formfactor is nice but Idk, the XR2 is aging quickly and you can still buy two Quests plus a bunch of games for that price.

This made me confirm my decision to get the Valve Index.
Valve Index resolution is pretty bad compared to newer 4k headsets. There's a big difference in clarity. Valve is working on something new though. Hope it comes out next year.
