The song is well suited to the Wednesday character and well adapted to the cello. It reminds me of the old player piano in the first couple of seasons of "Westworld". Songs by late 20th century groups, such as Metailica & The Animals set the mood, although subliminally for most, for what was happening with the characters in the scene.
@@funnydoggy1. they could mean that because they use to watch the old addams family show and they loved the character, which is why they were obsessed with the show
oh man! my daughter wants to learn how to play the cello because of this video!! Wednsday is amazing! I did not know she had a talent until my daughter saw this video 😊
I will never undestand how they made such an AMAZING scene with a LOT of development of characters in different places and put everything in the trash... I really love this scene, but ut haves a feeling of last episode with a great plot, but that wasn't the case...
Just to let you all know she isn't actually playing because it is too hard for 2 months of learning only but she did learn cello so it looks believable that she is playing.
@@luvqaxrii hey, you can tell she didn't play it cuz the vibrato seen when she plays the last note is super sloppy, and the vibrato heard is kinda professional. I also heard that she said that, so she prolly played some of it? idk tbh
I'm conflicted about this. She looks like she can play the cello (though left hand sometimes looked iffy, then again, I'm not a cellist so I don't know all the techniques), but the music wasn't entirely synced to the visuals. They didn't even have her do pizzicato at the pizzicato part.
@@justafallperson2108 I actually looked into that since I made that comment, she took like eight months (?) of lessons so she could act the scenes without having a double do it. It's really praiseworthy and a lot more than most actors do when they get a musician role. Thing is, a few months isn't enough to get good enough to play at the level that's needed here. She did a very convincing act for 'Paint it Black' (except the pizzicato part), for Vivaldi the dubbing was more obvious. Still, as a violinist I'm very happy that she made the effort. As a German I'm also happy she made the effort to speak german, even if it's almost not understandable.
I’m a cellist and I can confirm this is fake. However, she did take lessons to learn basic techniques . (Pizzicato, vibrato, timing consistencies weren’t on point either, left hand wasn’t on the right note most of the time)
She learned to play the cello as much as she could in about 8 months before filming this. She probably isn’t really playing what we’re hearing, but learned how to make it look like she was.
No i play cello and tbh it doesn't affect me. It might but she doesn't really have the best posture for the cello considering she only started learning it for the show. She did an amazing job but I mean a lot of cellists sit like that and some don't so yeh. Idk but I don't find it bad
