Back at the Academy, the Umbrellas clash with a new squad of Hargreeves siblings as a mysterious force begins to wreak havoc on the city. - Развлечения
Honestly, when this scene started playing, I was ready to accept that that’s really how they did it in this timeline, no questions asked. And then it turned out to be a hallucination 😭
SAME
Totally caught of guard lol
Haha me too
I thought Marcus had some type of rhythm power (via telepathy and/or telekinesis) that allowed him to manipulate those around him, possibly more stronger the more people there were that also made him (and those he so chooses) stronger the longer the hold.
Thought the same
I actually love how none of us assumed this was an hallucination, we were just like "... huh, hargreeves teached them some weird things", and automatically accepted it as the one and only true reality
I thought the Sparrows weren't fighters but dancers in this universe haha that this is how they fight. Fay is my favourite, I love her fashion and her power.
@@disneyqueen6319 what if they just dance with the criminals until they have a breakdown and give up themselves
@@chirit0z yesss I would have loved that and it makes sense in the Umbrella Academy universe.
You know weird thing that just came to my mind, didn't they also start metaphorically all dancing in the first season after the funeral? Kinda a cool callback
@@artistaro5335 i forgot about that, i think you're right, huh
Diego saying “oh shit we’re really good at this” kills me everytime

When Luther starts dancing, the look on Diego's face as he takes a step back is what gets me. 😂😂
I prefer the "GET HIM LUTHER!" from klaus. I die every time.
@@DeathComesQuick666 Dude. Are you feeling okay?
the best thing about it is that it means diego knows the entire footloose choreography by heart and i just think that's adorable
Headcanon accepted! 😍 Klaus would LOVE to know that and would PLEAD with Diego to do the dance with him. 😍
Everything about Diego is adorable.
He probably got from his mom
He was the best dancer in season 1 albeit his moves were out of date
Ikr
The fact that this is Diego’s hallucination makes it 100x better
The fact that is what you most desire makes it 1000x better
Kinda shows that deep down, he's a huge softie and actually likes nonviolent ways of solving things (and footloose apparently)
@@alfredohumberto2222 was that ever stayed in the series? I don't recall.
To me, ig the reason why he had a hallucination of everyone dancing is because he is probably the only one in the family who can actually dance XD
@@charliegraham2789 i think it's just assumed considering five's hallucination is reuniting with delores
I was 100% ready to accept that this was a timeline where all conflicts were settled through dance battles.
omg i thought i was the only one- i was just down for dance battle season
Yeah, even if this shit wasn’t a hallucination it would fit 100% into this clusterfuck of a show!😅🤣
Same🤣
Same. I have to say I was quite disappointed...
I thought to myself:
"Did they really mess the timeline that bad?" then I just said ok and was expecting a dance-off season, but I was pretty disappointed when the scene ended
I love how Diego's hallucination is "We dance happily and become friends afterwards" . It's actually what he thought of somewhere deep inside, because Five was hallucinating of Delores later and we know he loves her. Actually it makes sense that Diego loves dancing because he does it every season and his dance moves are the most cool and original.
He saw the potential for 6 new siblings. And wanted that family.
Also he knows all the moves he has to to have this hallucination
Can we just point out that the lady saw five kissing a bit there Delores.. does that mean that Diego was dancing while they were all just stood there and they accepted it 😭
“Oh, SHIT! We’re really good at this!”
This line is a million times funnier after knowing none of this is happening around Diego
Diego is literally the sweetest character who acts all rugged. his inner desire is having everyone getting along dancing together? so cute
My first thought was Marcus had some kind of dancing related power since another guy with super strength is kind of lame when there's only 60 some of them in the world (or 16 in this universe?).
My second thought was oh, my God, they're really just doing a dance off. Okay, I buy Luther going along with it, but when did everyone have a choreography meeting about this?
Also, if I laugh any harder, I'm going to give myself an aneuryism.
@@jenniferhanses7064 i think you've already caught yourself an aneurysm.
How about Luther this season? He is doubly... TEN times more better and way more interesting this season. 😇
@@LetThatStuffGo he really had his own romantic comedy arc love that for him
It’s why him and Sparrow Ben bumped heads so hard. Lol
I didn't even assume that this was a hallucination, I just immediately accepted it
I think we all just kind of went "yeah this makes sense" and didn't question anything
Complete same! Not the weirdest thing this show has done
Bro, same. I was right there like this must be a thing Hargreeves taught them. 🤣🤣
just like reality?? it's as funny as hell!!
Yep
I can't explain why, but the camera moving along the floor with their feet at 01:18 is just such a good angle at the perfect timing with the song and the dance.
Well, they basically stole that angle from the original dance sequence from the “Footloose” movie. 😂
@@shannonhughes203 Oh I see! Well then, credit to the movie and a great homage to the original scene!
@Shannon Hughes I was just about to comment this. I'm like "I know this from somewhere!" xxx
REAL
Same though so perfect
This scene is just as good as the dance scene from season 😂😂😂
Diego: What are you doing?
Luther: Protecting our honor bro!
Diego: "just goes with it"
"Oh sh*t! We're really good at this!"
Top 3 moments-
-Klaus saying 'Get 'em Luther!'
-The absolute himbo way that Luther says 'Protecting our honour, bro!'
-Diego's 'Oh shit! We're really good at this!' He sounds so proud.
ive replayed “protecting our honor, bro” probably a dozen times now because of the enunciation and face he makes at the end
I think it's also that this is all what Diego wanted to happen that really makes it.
I feel like Diego saying "Oh shit we are really good at this!" Is because he probably does the footlose dance to relieve stress so he is both happy & surprised that the Umbrella Academy can all dance well with each other. Sadly it was just a hallucination.
I dunno...5 leaning into the single leg triple jump with the typical scowl is pretty great
Klaus and Ben’s jam gotta be up there
This is why I love this show-
“How do we establish that her venom causes hallucinations?”
Answer: 3 minute long footloose dance sequence
It wasn't even a particularly relevant detail to the rest of the season that her venom causes hallucinations, which leads me to believe they just wanted a Footloose dance battle and wrote Jayme to have that power so they could do it.
The art and music production on this show is 90% of the reason that intro song too amazing

@@spookymanlistens I mean… all the better tho. Footloose Dance Battle is an automatic plus.
@@spookymanlistens i totally agree. They definitely worked backwards on this one.
I love how the dance pairings between the Umbrellas and Sparrows foreshadow many of character arcs throughout the season. Planting seeds while cutting footloose. That's some great writing and choreography.
Take a moment to appreciate how well cast TUA's cast was.
They literally had the best actors. They had the footloose scene in perfect sync,
We need to appreciate that.
We need to appreciate that they must have put a LOT of work into that scene! So yes, they picked great, hard-working actors.
The sad moment you realise this is the happiest any of the characters are in this season and it’s all a hallucination. Ah well! LETS DANCEEEEEEEE
Let's not even get started on Allison here. Seeing her dancing around with her siblings and being genuinely happy is like therapy.
Edit: I said this before that episode where she rumoured Luther. Ew.
True, it's time to let our siblings be happy for once, especially since they've been through so much trauma already.
I didn’t like this scene when I first watched it but know with context I love it
@@dont.say.alec. right, first time watching it yes, second time no. She deserves nothing🥱 after she sa’d Luther, she can rot, ew.
@@dont.say.alec. exactly. Allison just looks like she’s having the time of her life and I feel awful because of everything she’d gone through and goes through this season
The fact that all the other hallucinations show us what those characters truly want (like Five missing Delores) really adds to this scene cuz that means Diego reeeallly wanted a dance off. I vote that we get a REAL dance off in s4!
Real dance off but no organised choreography whatsoever. Just a complete shit show.
And a dance with mom!
Considering how much he breaks it down in the first dance of the first episode of S1, i don't doubt he secretly likes dancing
I think they need to somehow resolve the apocalypse via dance battle sometime
I've watched this scene three times now and just now caught this. It is hilarious and just shows how many takes they did on this one scene alone.
At 0:00 Klaus has his jacket and hat on.
At 1:52 one of the Sparrows is wearing Klaus's hat.
At 1:56 Klaus throws his hat in the air.
At 2:00 Klaus is back to wearing his hat.
And at multiple cuts within the scene Klaus is wearing his jacket and then not wearing his jacket.
In the last dance off portion of the dance, they take shots out of sequence. Cast have switched positions in the ring and Klaus is again with and then without the jacket.
You know this proves that no matter how absurd this show gets, we accept it and love it
So many perfect elements to this scene. Diegos shocked little step back in the beginning. "Get him Luther!" The smoothness of everyone synchronizing. Five's serious face clap. Alison's amazing outfit. Klaus' hands up dance during the passbacks.
It also tells you so much about these new characters in a way. Just such a clever tv moment that I will always cherish.
I like the fact that Diego’s greatest desire is just to have a big dance party with his family
Diego is J D from Scrubs.
That's the final scene of the show. Dance off to save the world

Klaus spent most of this series living his best life in really horrible (for him, for others who tried to save him) ways. But I will always love that in this scene, Klaus really IS living his best life, including being reunited with Ben. Robert Sheeran is hard core fabulous in this!
Klaus reminds me so much of American Dad's Roger. No surprise that they even have the same voice in german voiceovers.
Five dancing with that same scowl on his face 🤣🤣
The fact that I didn't even question this for a second when it started and was willing to 100% accept this was actually happening, against the fact that this was Diego’s hallucination was more surprising LOLOL
Right? I had absolutely no problem nor did I require any suspension of disbelief that this is how they would have resolved a conflict amongst themselves. To be honest, I was kind of disappointed that it wasn't!

I fucking love Klaus. He's literally the only sibling who would just embrace and cheer on this kind of madness and then participate and literally having the time of his life. And Number 5 is my other favorite. His seriousness while dancing was hilarious xD
I've been a fan of Robert Sheehan ever since I saw him on the show "Misfits". His casting as Klaus was a great move.
The exact same opinion here as yours. Klaus is the most innocent character in this group. Silly and quirky.

Its easy to be a grown up playing a kid but a kid playing a grown up is hard as shit. I've never even seen this show, but this is honestly one of the funniest things I've seen from a Netflix show, period. They choreographed it to perfection.
You should give it a go. There is another dance scene in season 1 ep 1 thats pretty good too. The show is amazing w/ alot of heart.
I like how in his hallucination, the only thing Diego can imagine Christopher doing is spitting out glitter and manifesting balloons.
Funny thing is Christopher is actually able to be a Disco Ball
It’s pretty awesome
🤣💀This is why I love Diego.
Expected a Dance sequence like the have every season but I didn't expect it so soon and out of nowhere. Didn't know wth I was watching but enjoyed every bit.
Yeah when it happened i was like WTF there is no way but then i was like aww i wish this was real cause i knew it wasn't real 😂😂😂
Same! I thought I was tripping 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@nurseaylla Lol they were tripping
I feel like they forgot and lost what made the first dance sequence...special?
This season was the best I JUST LOVE IT TO FUNNY TOO.
Doing this dance for my project cuz my group liked this💀💀💀
"Damn, fans want another season but we don't have a story yet. What should we do?"
"Play the tune!"
Not gonna lie, when this started I was just like...'okay, well everyone on the Umbrella Side looks so confused when Marcus started dancing so maybe this is just how they do things here' and then Luther started dancing too and I'm like 'ok, that seems to check out' Like I was fully ready to accept it as a legit thing that happened.
Same… hahahahahaha
honestly same. i never question christian the cube one minute
I was like “ohh it’s gonna be that kind of season I guess”, I mean after accepting that cube, sky is the limit.
I though making people Dance was his power XD
@@mazella666 same
2:38 Aww Ben and Klaus spinning each other around is too cute😂😭
I really love how Sparrow Ben and Klaus got to have a sweet moment, makes me miss their old interactions.
Omg yes 😆
I miss the old Ben, but him and Klaus were always meant to be close
Allisons double take at the start kills me everytime. Like what the?!
I know nothing about this show and this was still excellent!
No one is talking about how wholesome it was seeing Diego get to dance with his mother?
What are you taking about ???
There was comment about this.

A month later and I still come back for the dance moves…and commentary.
“Protecting our honor bruh.”
“Oh shit, we’re really good at this!”
@@MuffinSandwich 🤣
And the get em luther!
I noticed how he said it and now realize it was a hallucination from the beginning
A hahaha
He said “bro”, not “bruh”.
Damn Elliot is giving his all at 2:23 and it looks great, the choreography in that duo was great.
This whole scene is great.
How cute was that?!? That's one of the happiest dance scenes I've ever seen!
The fact that everybody is like "WTF" when the dance starts but Luther is like "OHHHHH THIS SHIT IS ON BRO!" with a straight face hahahahaha
Give Tom hopper all the Emmy’s just because of his delivery on “protecting our honor bro”
Luther's actor killed it this season 🤣 his delivery was so good in every scene
@@adoniscreed4031 comedy gold in this season
It makes it better that he’s British as well
He can pull off the American accent excellently
Not me thinking you was actually talking about Emmy for hot Sec I was about to say Luther's moved on from Allison 🤣
Dancing is so much harder than fighting. This is how battles/wars should be!!!!!
I've never seen this show but damn if this scene was immediately in my top tv scenes list
I love the way Klaus and Ben dance together they're so precious
Thinking the same thing !!!❤🥹
also when Luther dances with Sloane it foreshadows that their characters get close during the season
i feel so sad for klaus like he just wants to hug ben but got punched instead
i know me too hahah
I am Klaus
It kinda sucks that the characters didn't actually get a long like this. I was really hoping for all of them to be one big happy family.
Same 😢
Yeah I think the dynamics could have been.
Diego and Alfonso insulting each other in Spanish.
Five asking how the fuck Chris works.
Alyson and Jayme getting drunk.
Klaus and Ben bonding.
Luther and Sloane having a proper built relationship.
Viktor and Marcus just talking about how mess up are their families.
@@gregovaromoreno6318 the sparrow was a built differently, maybe in season 4 will be different
@@gregovaromoreno6318 haha this sounds nice wish I had seen this maybe season 4
What's the point of the show then?
When Marcus started dancing, my thought was "ok, makes sense, this could be his power or this time line works in different way". I knew something was wrong when Luther started dancing and other siblings joined. But i gotta admit, this 3 minutes was one of the most entertaining moment of the show👌
