Never leave dishwasher switched on overnight! My friend did this and unfortunately it caught fire! My husband is a retired firefighter and he would never leave any appliance operating overnight as there is a danger it could malfunction and catch fire. Although you may think this is a minor risk, it is worth considering.
Best review on the Bosch Series 2 I have seen. Thank you. Do you still like the cutlery tray instead of the traditional basket? It gives more room on the bottom tray but I am not sure about the height of the second tray.
Do you know how to reset program if you have pressed the wrong setting ? Wondering is it possible … I set dishwasher to economy 3.5 hrs by accident and it started ! Did not want that I wanted shortest wash @1 hr 10 min
Is it not part of the the cycle program you have? Drying is part of every cycle unless I need an extra dry which gives me that option which I have never ever need to use.
Thanks for your video. Could I know what’s the depth of your kitchen top please? From the backsplash to the edge. I’m interested of getting the same dishwasher as yours but I wanna make sure it fits nicely and doesn’t stick out too much. Many thanks
@@gladwellkozak3289 Hi, really helpful thanks, I'm actually a bit concerned as my kitchen top is only 59cm and I think the dishwasher might stick out too much?

Yes. I still prefer the top tray for the cutlery . The height of the second tray is adjustable. Thank you for your positive comment.
How to adjust the time
Does that dishwasher has a child lock?
Yes, it does.
Have you ever experienced that it gets stuck to first option of Echo does not let me pick other options and letting me start it?
Not really. I f it gets stuck I would advise you switch off completely for a few minutes then restarts the programme again.
Excellent review. I have just installed this model today. Looking forward to my first wash tonight.
Wonderful. Hope it serves you well as mine does.
@@gladwellkozak3289 what model was it?
@@niallchurch2679 It is a Bosch Series 2 SGS2HVI66G. I bought mine in January.
Thank you so much, this is very helpful

Hi. I have yet to do a reset program on my dishwasher so I am not sure if it possible or not.
How do you know when it needs rinse aid
Hi there. There is a light indicator that switches when the rinse has run out.
We have - bosch dishwasher SHS63VL5UC/10, it takes over 2 hours to wash the dishes, too long.
Personally, I prefer the longer cycle as its thorough and energy consumption is infact lower. But it is always the question of personal choice.
Do you know you can fold down the back racks on the bottom drawer to wash bigger pots? Those racks are stainless steel!
Yes, I do fold down the back rack once in awhile when I need extra space for bigger pots. I will highlight this on my next video in same topic.
I have a different model of the Bosch Series too and am failing to activate the drying option. It has limited buttons
Is it not part of the the cycle program you have? Drying is part of every cycle unless I need an extra dry which gives me that option which I have never ever need to use.
This was very helpful thanks, my question though is does it have a quick wash option please? If yes then how many minutes would that be?
Yes, it does have a quick wash option of 1 hour called express and washes at 65 degrees centigrade.
This was helpful thank you
Thank you very much. I am glad I was able to help.
Good review! Does this connect to wifi so you can use with home connect app?
Thanks. Ours doesn't have WiFi but newer version do have. But it does have a pre-set timer for the time you want it to start. Hope this is helpful.
price???
I bought this bosch dishwasher for £425. Series 6 is over £600 if you are looking for the latest model.

@@damidammi Think it will be sufficient for you as behind our dishwasher we have some valves and drainage pipe which are occupying extra space.
@@gladwellkozak3289 I hope there won't be pipes behind our kitchen as that will eat more space...fingers crossed. Thanks for your reply
