Nice one mate. I jumped on this video as had a Tamil friend years back who once cooked a pepper curry for us to eat. Can't wait to try your version.

Nice flavourful recipe Jack. Your instructions and explanations certainly make you a cut above the rest on RUclips. It sets you apart. It makes a difference in how I’ve cooked. I learn so much from you. Oh and by the way, do you have a budget friendly curried sausages recipe🤔 after all you did mention it 😏 another budget video might be good to do. I think I only use that keens curry powder in egg for sandwiches or in my chow mein. By the way I 🦻🏻 the whisper. Do like that thrown in there. Your rice recipe is one I make often. It’s delicious.

Looks fantastic jack , going to try this. I used to use a pestle and mortar,, go 2 actually, I think my arthritic hands now need a herb grinder, i would definitely buy one for this recipe. Many thanks I am sure we will enjoy! Been subscribed for years, you never fail to impress.

Kozhi Milagu Curry as its called in Tamil Nadu, India (Chicken Pepper Curry) 😋 Thanks Chef!
P.S: 1/4 or1/2 tsp of turmeric powder is actually enough because otherwise it dominates the flavour and the poppy seeds that we get are usually white and we also fry them in the pan for about 30s before grinding all together

Love the look of this Jack but just to get it straight in my head, those whole spices used for eg. 2 tsp of pepper corns I use 2 tsp of ground pepper, 1 tbs of ground coriander etc? TIA

Dam i clicked this video quick times. I saw Tamil and was like oh, im tamil let's see what this is about. And ya Curry powder is just a blend of herbs and spices, which u can make yourself or buy a pre-made one. Best Curry powder is that Jaffna curry powder, but i might be bias.
