Does anyone else notice how throughout the series, computer pixels (the black and white ones) are a recurring style? I think Fanny never left the computer, and instead Tux joined her.

Either that or the trauma never fully left her, so when she changes modes of perception sometimes she still sees computers. In episode 54 this is addressed.
