3:05 To explain what this is, basically every pure buff, field, or stance art is supposed to get doubled duration as a bonus when used as a Fusion Art. However for Acceleration they messed this up, and using Acceleration in a Fusion Art used to give a 50% increase to its damage instead (Acceleration does not deal damage).
@@captianblitz Ya, basically there's 6 possible bonuses 1: Damage +50% (most attacking arts) 2: Healing +25% (pure healing arts, 5 total arts with this effect) 3: Duration +100% (every pure buff/debuff/stance/field art, and about half of the damaging arts with debuffs) 4: Aggro +50% (Most arts that increase aggro, Butterfly Blade, Shield Bash, and Soaring Tempest) 5: AoE Range +50% (a select few AoE arts. Notably includes Inferno Dance, Ground Beat, and Mighty Beat) 6: Block damage reduction +25 percentage points (literally just Eye of the Storm)

i actually read the ingame patch notes and was like "YES, party formation save". then it took me several minutes to find it because i was searching for it in the "characters" screen until i realized it's just on the first menu screen
I like ino. Her class might not be on he same level something like corvin was for his dlc, but the class is fun and ive been able to use it it too great effect. A buff would be nice, especially if they buff other classes and heroes too
Honestly I think the best part of Ino is that there is now another early game tank class besides the Zephyr, Heavy Guard, and Guardian. I don't know about other folks, but I felt tanks were rather lacking, with me nearly having ranked everyone to 10 in all 3 tanks classes before I found Lone Exile and Lost Vanguard. So Ino being a quest available so early on is a huge plus in my mind, regardless how good the class is in end game.
@@Timmir00 I wonder if tanks just aren't overly abundant in general. I mean there are a few around if you pay attention to the grunts you fight but there seems to be a lot more attacker and healer classes than tanks even against npcs.
It'd be a lot cooler if playable heroes were a thing. I get that there wouldn't be a point, mechanically speaking, but that was pretty much the same argument against playable blades in XC2.
I love how something managed to get onto the in-game information tab, but not the official patch notes. Watch the patch notes for this update get updated with the next patch.
there's more difficulties on the way. i believe it was datamined a while ago. a "very hard mode" with 50% increases from hard, and a custom mode. they'll probably drop next major patch
Custom mode is necessary, I hope they also add an equivalent to Bringer of Chaos from XB2, then this game will be *mostly* fine from a gameplay perspective.
I was so glad to see the Saving Party Formations addition, because that's something I've wanted added since the beginning. With how complex the combat and party setup is in this entry, and how much it wants you to experiment, being able to save party formations is much better than taking screenshots of every character loadout that I like.
based on Nintendo's current release schedule a late march/early April release for wave 3 and a July/August release for the story DLC would make a lot of sense October has Beyonetta 3(despite the controversy) November has Pokemon and that will hold them through the Holidays January has Fire emblem Engage February has Kirby's return to dreamland Deluxe nothing currently in march or April(from a first party/exclusive) May for Zelda ToTK so wave 3 and possibly one of the Mario kart DLC waves fill the gap for March and April then story DLC fills in probably July or August depending on how long they wait till after Zelda to release it and what else might be announced to fill in a release window for that time period
The party formation stuffs obviously developed in mind with the challenge battle. For ordinary player, you don't need such stuff to beat the game and the auto-equip will do it for you.
You don't NEED it but it's still incredibly usefull to at least have one "Main" formation for when you need to do challenging battles and one for leveling up classes. I know when I was playing the story I usually had everyone set to classes they hadn't mastered yet, but then when things got too rough against very strong world bosses I'd have a pretty optimised formation I'd switch them back to to defeat them. It's not REQUIRED to beat the game or anything but it's definitely helpfull to have.
To be fair, the saving party formation had an explicit pop up regarding it when you open the game after the 1.2.0 patch. So explicitly calling it out in the patch notes wasn't really necessary.
im pretty sure the flash fencer change is for like if you link an evasion art it'll keep the evasion for longer so you dont miss out on evasion time due to the art being faster
I got the tutorial about saving ‘load outs’ immediately after the first battle involved in the ino quest when you get her, which was the first fight I had come patch day, so I suspect it’s set up to appear either as soon as it is relevant (when you can first change everyone’s classes freely) or after your first fight since downloading the patch if you’re passed that point
I think we'll find out about the DLC story sometime by winter 2023 direct in January or February. Torna's announcement trailer came out 6 months after the game base game and before the announcement of XC2's wave DLC got shown off. So there's a good chance we'll see more of wave 3 in the next direct as well as an official announcement trailer or even at least a teaser for the DLC story.
@@amendola2232 Of course I was. I'm just that good. Now my next prediction will be that we will get a proper trailer for the DLC story sometime in April. It happened with Xenoblade 3's reveal trailer in February and the release date trailer in April. But also the time frame between Torna's announcement trailer and story trailer was also 2 months apart.
@@amendola2232 I must be the heir to the Monado BECAUSE I FUCKING CALLED IT. We got the 2nd DLC trailer in April. And only 12 hours earlier than when XC3's 2nd trailer dropped. Mainly because they had the Indie showcase on the 19th so they moved the trailer to the 18th at night. Which just so happened to be my birthday.
I noticed they changed the description of Ultimate Qigong to be more simple. It used to say guard-annuling damage, now it describes it as ignoring defense.
I dunno if anyone else found this issue, but whenever you go to the upper deck of the city with the open view of the outside after the city moves to the sea during chapter 6, it still shows intense snow except for literally 2 frames of the entire deck. Those frames being in the far left and right corners of it where it actually shows the rocky surface in which they’re at. It’s really weird, but not something too big, I guess. I mean, I fell like they need to fix that, definitely. Heck, maybe it’s one of the things they didn’t mention in this new patch. I dunno. But it was definitely one of the big bugs that I personally took note of.
WHAT?! Saving party formation is the best QoL feature ever! With 6 characters to customize it has been a hustle in itself to just create a fitting party around certain builds and then go back to "the optimal" party later on.
I don't know if this has affected anyone else, but i noticed that after i updated to 1.2.0 Grey's chibi class icon's eyepatch and hair tuft got flipped and now cover up his left eye for some reason
One more thing in the last bullet point, they fixed getting the first interlink soul link skill slot at the start of the jorun fight and moved it to the end of the jorun fight, affects speedruns
I've been playing since the DLC dropped farming for a few items and the voice line that get the most is still the girl with the gall, sometimes a different conversations starts, cuts off in the middle of it and still plays the girl with the gall
Chain attack and menu music toggle would be amazing. Sometimes I just want to hear literally any other song in the game for more than a minute at a time.
I'll admit, I pretty much stopped hearing "When's the battle happenin'?" after all six party members were together, so it was nice to hear Eunie's trash talk again after this update.
One new feature I've noticed: When you try to equip an accessory that is already in use by another party member, you get an option to swap it right there. I don't think it was like that before: I remember having to manually go to the other character, unequip the item, and then go back.
"Girl with the gal!" had the sad effect of making me dislike Sena *more* than the story/her personality did. Absolutely the line I heard the most post-battle.
@@GamingFreakShow1991 I only used it after I got the tutorial and I just assumed that it was a challenge mode only feature. I also have not played the game since I noticed that.
Very slim. However, link got Rex’s salvager suit as DLC for BOTW since monolith soft was directly involved with the open world design for that game. I suspect/hope the same is being done for TOTK so link gets Noah’s swordfighter/military outfit as DLC for that game.
When it popped up that I could save party formations I let out a very audible scream because I had never even thought of that yet it was something I had always needed. THANK GOD. I got so sick of checking all my equips everytime I did sweeping class changes. Awesome addition.
Here's what DLC wave 2 should've looked like New hero mwamba New class sharpshooter New quests (hero & ascension) And heck give Ethel an ascension quest that shows us her new bond with cammuravi I like ino but her inoswap is literally just the soul tree which means it's Functionally useless as it only buffs her She clearly wasn't built with 3's combat in mind she'd be so fun in 2 but that's the problem
I feel like Ino's class is actually good. A. It's the second evasion Tank we get in the game and those are great. And B. I feel like her arts and auto attacks are really fast and she has that break art that isn't position dependent.
I'm almost positive sena's animations for her default class have been sped up. Her talent art animation is for sure way faster now. I've heard people say in the new hero sidequest sena sounds different, more cutesy. Some suspect it's a different actress voicing her.
One issue the voice lines is you hear the characters react or say something about or how a monster producing items quite a bit of seconds before the monster actually does it. The voice lines are a bit too early. “That Tirkin just fell over” (Few seconds later) Tirkin collapse and drops some items. This bothers me just a little bit
person who hasn't beaten the game yet (but post chapter 3)/hasn't done more than walk into the challenge area and walk out, i had to stumble upon the feature in the menu luckily it's fairly easy to navigate and experiment with to figure out what it does, but i was certainly surprised when this was the first i had heard anyone else talking about it despite googling "xenoblade 3 party formations" and getting nothing
Hope we don't have to wait until Wave 3 (presumably in January/February) to get our next patch/update, it's almost 8 weeks since this past one dropped.
Very small nitpick: I really wish skip travel doesnt default to day time whenever you use it. This wasnt an issue in past games, and it feels redundant to do this since you can change time manually. I hope theyll fix in a future patch.
@Brie's World 🧀 ik that, but I really dont like that option, because sometimes you keep skip traveling everywhere and sometimes you forget about adjusting day and night. Plus I like it where in past games, the time is actually moving even if the characters skip travel all the time
@@mythoughtsexactly2145 I get this nitpick. I feel like I'm forced to consciously adjust the time, or else I end up stuck in perpetual daytime, since that is the default and they don't save your last selection. It's not a big deal, but it kinda sucks to have the music reset every time you skip travel, it's yet another factor alongside the menu and chain attack music that keeps interrupting the BGM in the game.
When at first fighting non aggressive enemies, the party would say an after combat line after every monster, so really bad when fighting groups one by one, with the same line three times in a row
Im still hearing shitloads of girl with the gall and lanz wanting something meatier. Very few lines involving Taion, so few I don't remember what's said.
This is actually the best change in the update since I can swap out from farming teams to superboss teams quickly since it also saves gems & accessories.
It's not related to bugs or fixes to combat or features, but... I'll point out something I noticed: Before the patch, cutscenes like "Cutting Down The Flame Clock" or "Two Paths" (to name a couple) had the flash transition you see in game removed from the Event Theater version. Originally, I figured it was a design choice; however, now I know it was a bug, as this was patched in the newest update. Sadly, "Taken By Surprise" is and has been a disaster since launch, at least in the Event Theater. Specifically, the weather effects. For some reason I'll never understand, it's a game of chance if your selection of weather effects actually happens on screen. For instance, you could select Clear and end up with Overcast in the cutscene, or vice versa if you selected Overcast. And Evening is simply unwatchable for this, because Evening Overcast is basically Afternoon Overcast. This is also compounded by the fact the final few minutes of the cutscene are independent of the segments before it so it'll randomize the weather effects AGAIN (this last bit really affects Evening for the reason I already addressed). Honestly, all I wanted to do was watch all the cutscenes in Morning Clear unless a cutscene didn't allow changes. And ironically, I ran across a bug I've literally found no one discussing so I thought I'd add it here. Even with this DLC patch, it's still like this and I sincerely don't know why. Edit: This applies to both versions of this cutscene. In order to avoid spoilers for anyone who hasn't finished the game, I purposely left off which chapters those cutscenes are in. It's worth noting there's likely still bugs in Event Theater even I've not discovered. Although, I will say, though your mileage may vary, it's not uncommon to see pop-in from grass or random textures even on drawn out scenes of the early game due to how the game handles the environment (specifically rocks and grass).
@@OtisCluck The second version depends on if you completed Eunie's Side Story ahead of the cutscene. The only real difference between the versions is lines of dialogue from Eunie specifically when (spoiler incoming!) X shows up.
I'm jealous of the people who didn't finish this game close to its launch (and somehow didn't get spoiled by unkind RUclipsrs posting spoilers) so they can experience the game in its best state.
Crazy how optimized this game was on release, three months after Xenoblade 2 release they were still fixing several bugs and adding sorting options that should be available at day 1.
another thing, is that i think that the cast recording new mini lines while doing stuff for the DLC makes it more likely Shulk will be voiced in some form in the DLC. adam howden voicing the nopon could be a side thing he did while doing work for the new story DLC
Omg really?! I didn't realize Adam was in the DLC, that's so awesome. I'm pretty voice-blind (like, face-blind but for voices), and I always need someone else to point things out to me. Like how Mio's VA is also Ranni the witch in Elden Ring
7:05 battle wise, no, but collectibles, yes, they added multi staged comments about rare collectibles. Same with the weather too, it's fucking cool, but slightly off key
Oh great now I can listen to Noah scream bloody murder when killing myself to respawn enemies in the endgame. I actually would have rather heard his battle death line still xD
informative very much though how do you feel about Ino as a hero unit, like with Isurd, Ethel, etc I find that shes quite good, her chain attack effects are both consistently good, 300% damage increase and +30 TP with activation of said character are definitely very good
So the annoying thing about the Ultimate Qigong description, is that, ITS STILL WRONG. If they wanted it to be consistent they'd specify it's 50 percentage POINTS, which htye have done on every other piecve of equipment that changes a percentage based stat like the Detector Headgear for Crit. They changed it but it's still inaccurate to what the effect actually does.
My guess is that they’ll reveal Wave 3 in the February direct and then release in March, and they’ll reveal the story expansion in the June direct and release in July.
Well, Torna got its announcement trailer 6 months after XC2's release. So if the same thing happened with XC3 then it would be either in January or February. XC2's DLC marketing also revealed Torna before we ever saw the official contents of wave 3 like Elma so there's that.
I dont think the challenge battle is THAT easy. The hero one and superboss rush is especially challenging. I think there will be tougher challenges in wave 3 but overall I think i'm satisfied with this DLC patch. I love the N and M challenge the most just for the best music in the game. Moebius theme with flutes is soooooo good.
Yeah the early ones are supposed to be easy, the later ones are pretty tough. And no doubt the next waves will be harder. I only wish that the N&M fight would have given us their outfits for Noa and Mio. I mean Mio is straight up playable in the main story with that outfit for a little while, so it's already in the game. I'm sure we'll get these eventually in a later DLC but still. That and casual clothes for everyone (the one they wear at the campfires and in some cutscenes) would be cool.
Yeah theirs definately a lot of new voice lines added, not just for battle, but also for when opening crates as a character will mention if they found something rare.
There’s also another change that they made to a cutscene that I think makes a significant impact in the story. Spoilers below: In a cutscene with N and Z they changed N’s sword to look like the Sword of Origin instead of Lucky Seven.
When i first opened up the menu the game told me that it added saving teams. A little window opened and told me about the hero, challenge battles, and the team saving. Idk why it activated for only me (i have proof on my channel if u didnt get it)
The City theme not looping properly was such a massive L; it ruined an otherwise amazing track. While I’m sad that, realistically, most of the time I will have spent in the game will have been with that experience, I’m so glad it was noticed and fixed.
You missed one thing in Patch 1.2.0; in the cutscene before fighting N for the final time. In 1.1.1, he was kneeling before Lucky Seven. In 1.2.0, he is kneeling before his regular black sword. They changed the model in the cutscene. I suppose this is a continuity fix? I can't say for sure.
Someone wanna tell me what actually supposed to be bad about challange mode? I think it's plenty of fun and a big challange in hardmode (haven't farmed up all level 10 gems)
I also noticed an incredibly obscure voice line change in the new patch. When selecting a rare ‘Lucky’ monster with Noah as the playable character, Noah used to say: "Huh? Is that...?"
But now he will say: "Is that what I think it is?"
Like I said: incredibly obscure. But I find these kinds of things interesting.

Lanz: I was the MVP. You know your thinking of it.
Taion: We know Lanz, you told us 50 times already.
After patch 1.20
Noah: I don't heard Lanz anymore.
Eunie: Sparky you're right Noah. But Eunie's the Boss.

To explain what this is, basically every pure buff, field, or stance art is supposed to get doubled duration as a bonus when used as a Fusion Art. However for Acceleration they messed this up, and using Acceleration in a Fusion Art used to give a 50% increase to its damage instead (Acceleration does not deal damage).
…I did not know that arts got any bonuses when fused aside from the effects of the paired art and early story canceling…
@@captianblitz Ya, basically there's 6 possible bonuses
1: Damage +50% (most attacking arts)
2: Healing +25% (pure healing arts, 5 total arts with this effect)
3: Duration +100% (every pure buff/debuff/stance/field art, and about half of the damaging arts with debuffs)
4: Aggro +50% (Most arts that increase aggro, Butterfly Blade, Shield Bash, and Soaring Tempest)
5: AoE Range +50% (a select few AoE arts. Notably includes Inferno Dance, Ground Beat, and Mighty Beat)
6: Block damage reduction +25 percentage points (literally just Eye of the Storm)
@@cantthinkofbettername5065 This certainly helps answer some questions I had. The game seemed very unclear if there were any substantial added benefits to using fusion arts.
i actually read the ingame patch notes and was like "YES, party formation save". then it took me several minutes to find it because i was searching for it in the "characters" screen until i realized it's just on the first menu screen
personally, I speculate the challenges in wave 3 will be based off of 2's challenge mode, like how the wave 2 challenge mode was based off of DE's.
@@Timmir00 considering there’s only 3 tank heroes, we definitely need more
@@Timmir00 I wonder if tanks just aren't overly abundant in general. I mean there are a few around if you pay attention to the grunts you fight but there seems to be a lot more attacker and healer classes than tanks even against npcs.
@@ShadowSkyX probably bc they’re all dead lmao
It'd be a lot cooler if playable heroes were a thing. I get that there wouldn't be a point, mechanically speaking, but that was pretty much the same argument against playable blades in XC2.
I love how something managed to get onto the in-game information tab, but not the official patch notes.
Watch the patch notes for this update get updated with the next patch.
there's more difficulties on the way. i believe it was datamined a while ago. a "very hard mode" with 50% increases from hard, and a custom mode. they'll probably drop next major patch
Custom mode is necessary, I hope they also add an equivalent to Bringer of Chaos from XB2, then this game will be *mostly* fine from a gameplay perspective.

before the patch, did anyone hear the voice line of taion saying something like "Sena can we walk closer to you?" in the snowy areas
I certainly did!
The only voice lines i heard before while exploring from the party are from when you are near black fog
I sure did
Saving party comps is huge. That's a feature that should be standard for party build-oriented RPGs generally, and I'm really glad the game has it now.
I like hearing "Lanz wants something a bit meatier" and i heard a new after battle voice lines, Eunie said "easy peasy"
I was so glad to see the Saving Party Formations addition, because that's something I've wanted added since the beginning. With how complex the combat and party setup is in this entry, and how much it wants you to experiment, being able to save party formations is much better than taking screenshots of every character loadout that I like.
based on Nintendo's current release schedule a late march/early April release for wave 3 and a July/August release for the story DLC would make a lot of sense
October has Beyonetta 3(despite the controversy)
November has Pokemon and that will hold them through the Holidays
January has Fire emblem Engage
February has Kirby's return to dreamland Deluxe
nothing currently in march or April(from a first party/exclusive)
May for Zelda ToTK
so wave 3 and possibly one of the Mario kart DLC waves fill the gap for March and April then story DLC fills in probably July or August depending on how long they wait till after Zelda to release it and what else might be announced to fill in a release window for that time period
Honestly we'd like to know even if a rats texture has been improved slightly. Give us more info Nintendo
New pre battle banter is a nice touch and the falling screams are pretty great
Let's go spitball Luxin.
Also watch his streams when he does so once in a blue moon.
I mean the patch notes told about the party saving
Edit: the ingame patch notes told better stuff
I booted up the game and immediately got the tutorial for party saves, they let me know immediately and I think you're the exception
Tutorial didn't pop up for ne until I did a couple challenges
@@gooberlious like he said he has a completed save file so maybe there are no more opportunity flags for the game to show it, maybe that's why
God I hope leveling down prior to postgame gets added soon
I think we'll find out about the DLC story sometime by winter 2023 direct in January or February. Torna's announcement trailer came out 6 months after the game base game and before the announcement of XC2's wave DLC got shown off. So there's a good chance we'll see more of wave 3 in the next direct as well as an official announcement trailer or even at least a teaser for the DLC story.
U were 100 percent right
@@amendola2232 Of course I was.
@@FireFury190 all right, let's see how this ages in april
@@amendola2232 I must be the heir to the Monado BECAUSE I FUCKING CALLED IT. We got the 2nd DLC trailer in April. And only 12 hours earlier than when XC3's 2nd trailer dropped. Mainly because they had the Indie showcase on the 19th so they moved the trailer to the 18th at night. Which just so happened to be my birthday.
Loved your stream dude! Looking forward to seeing more! (Also I feel like the only one who actually likes Ino's voice acting)
LUXIN, THE INGAME PATCH NOTES TOLD ABOUT THE PARTY FORMATIONS. Nintendo sucks not monolith
I noticed they changed the description of Ultimate Qigong to be more simple. It used to say guard-annuling damage, now it describes it as ignoring defense.
It always said this in the pal version.
Oh, interesting.
Always a lovely end of the day when the Luxin video late at night.
I've been playing since the DLC dropped farming for a few items and the voice line that get the most is still the girl with the gall, sometimes a different conversations starts, cuts off in the middle of it and still plays the girl with the gall
Update: during a fight, I hadn't even finished killing the enemies and got girl with the gall line, then finished the fight and got it again
Literally just started playing the new DLC when you posted this
One new feature I've noticed: When you try to equip an accessory that is already in use by another party member, you get an option to swap it right there. I don't think it was like that before: I remember having to manually go to the other character, unequip the item, and then go back.
I’m pretty sure it was a thing already, or at least since 1.1, because I’m almost positive I was using it while farming the super boss before 1.2
That has been there since the beginning, only they don't actually swap, they just take the item from the other character, leaving their slot empty.
The only thing needed to make Ino's class cracked is applying Inoswap to the main cast.
"Girl with the gal!" had the sad effect of making me dislike Sena *more* than the story/her personality did. Absolutely the line I heard the most post-battle.
I thought the party loadouts were only for the land of challenge and not the entire game. If it is for the entire game, that is pretty amazing.
It takes two button presses man
@@GamingFreakShow1991 I only used it after I got the tutorial and I just assumed that it was a challenge mode only feature. I also have not played the game since I noticed that.
What do you think are the chances of a botw 2 link outfit being added to xb3
Very slim. However, link got Rex’s salvager suit as DLC for BOTW since monolith soft was directly involved with the open world design for that game. I suspect/hope the same is being done for TOTK so link gets Noah’s swordfighter/military outfit as DLC for that game.
75 hours into Xenoblade 2 on the Malos chapter 7 boss fight, can’t wait to play this
When it popped up that I could save party formations I let out a very audible scream because I had never even thought of that yet it was something I had always needed. THANK GOD. I got so sick of checking all my equips everytime I did sweeping class changes. Awesome addition.
Here's what DLC wave 2 should've looked like
New hero mwamba
New class sharpshooter
New quests (hero & ascension)
And heck give Ethel an ascension quest that shows us her new bond with cammuravi
I like ino but her inoswap is literally just the soul tree which means it's Functionally useless as it only buffs her
She clearly wasn't built with 3's combat in mind she'd be so fun in 2 but that's the problem
Arguably, she'd be worse in 2. Dying isn't something that's favorable, for the most part, in that game. Nukes go crazy.
@@GamingFreakShow1991 true especially considering what poppi is capable of
I feel like Ino's class is actually good. A. It's the second evasion Tank we get in the game and those are great. And B. I feel like her arts and auto attacks are really fast and she has that break art that isn't position dependent.
Also the only class that lets you fuse a break with a topple art and have them apply in the correct order.
I'm almost positive sena's animations for her default class have been sped up. Her talent art animation is for sure way faster now. I've heard people say in the new hero sidequest sena sounds different, more cutesy. Some suspect it's a different actress voicing her.
It's still Rebecca. It just seems like she is using her natural voice as opposed to her Sena one.
@@MiguelHernandez-lo5lg oh ok. i listened to her talk a fair bit before i was sure I wasn't imagining it.
Sena was always faster in ogre compared to others
Now we have a proper voice line of Noah screaming
One issue the voice lines is you hear the characters react or say something about or how a monster producing items quite a bit of seconds before the monster actually does it. The voice lines are a bit too early.
“That Tirkin just fell over”
(Few seconds later)
Tirkin collapse and drops some items.
This bothers me just a little bit
person who hasn't beaten the game yet (but post chapter 3)/hasn't done more than walk into the challenge area and walk out, i had to stumble upon the feature in the menu
luckily it's fairly easy to navigate and experiment with to figure out what it does, but i was certainly surprised when this was the first i had heard anyone else talking about it despite googling "xenoblade 3 party formations" and getting nothing
No way they aren't going to add an amiibo reward for the pyra mythra amiibo. My bet is another sword skin for pyra and an incursor skin for mythra
still holding out for a way to sort accessories. flipping through them anytime i need to fill slots is an absolute slog.
This is actually the best change in the update since I can swap out from farming teams to superboss teams quickly since it also saves gems & accessories.
The last section of the video is so much more interesting in retrospect, given that the exact opposite of everything that was expected happened.
Doesn’t Taken by Surprise have two versions? What exactly is the difference between them?
@@OtisCluck The second version depends on if you completed Eunie's Side Story ahead of the cutscene. The only real difference between the versions is lines of dialogue from Eunie specifically when (spoiler incoming!)
X shows up.
I'm jealous of the people who didn't finish this game close to its launch (and somehow didn't get spoiled by unkind RUclipsrs posting spoilers) so they can experience the game in its best state.
I dunno about all this speculation about new lines, I just know now that where Lanz comes from it’s called a Lanz Handshake.
DONT FORGET ME!!!
Crazy how optimized this game was on release, three months after Xenoblade 2 release they were still fixing several bugs and adding sorting options that should be available at day 1.
Funny enough the party loadout is mentioned on the title screen when you press minus for patch info. Only there though.
another thing, is that i think that the cast recording new mini lines while doing stuff for the DLC makes it more likely Shulk will be voiced in some form in the DLC. adam howden voicing the nopon could be a side thing he did while doing work for the new story DLC
Omg really?! I didn't realize Adam was in the DLC, that's so awesome. I'm pretty voice-blind (like, face-blind but for voices), and I always need someone else to point things out to me.

Ultimate Qigong's description was fine, definitely not the one I would've change
Oh great now I can listen to Noah scream bloody murder when killing myself to respawn enemies in the endgame. I actually would have rather heard his battle death line still xD
informative very much
though how do you feel about Ino as a hero unit, like with Isurd, Ethel, etc
I find that shes quite good, her chain attack effects are both consistently good, 300% damage increase and +30 TP with activation of said character are definitely very good
So the annoying thing about the Ultimate Qigong description, is that, ITS STILL WRONG. If they wanted it to be consistent they'd specify it's 50 percentage POINTS, which htye have done on every other piecve of equipment that changes a percentage based stat like the Detector Headgear for Crit. They changed it but it's still inaccurate to what the effect actually does.
Custom builds is gonna help immensely with Soulhacker. Having to edit the entire loadout to switch roles and swap skills and arts can be tedious.
@@FireFury190 That’s fair, it doesn’t necessarily have to all be tied to Directs
So what class in this video could be considered a spoiler aga-

Oh. Yeah, that one counts.
Yeah theirs definately a lot of new voice lines added, not just for battle, but also for when opening crates as a character will mention if they found something rare.
I just noticed this. I don’t really need it, but I appreciate the effort.
I did play few days ago, fell of a cliff, and got spooked a little because Noah started screaming like crazy 😅
There’s also another change that they made to a cutscene that I think makes a significant impact in the story.
Spoilers below:
In a cutscene with N and Z they changed N’s sword to look like the Sword of Origin instead of Lucky Seven.
When i first opened up the menu the game told me that it added saving teams. A little window opened and told me about the hero, challenge battles, and the team saving. Idk why it activated for only me (i have proof on my channel if u didnt get it)
I lowkey saw the party formations button and just thought the feature had always been there lmfao
Man I’m praying for a custom difficulty mode
