Since I don't think that Monolift Soft is launching an omegaverse, yes, Mio was originally an avatar of Pneuma or the daughter of Rex and Mythra. If Nia was in love with Rex, why would she have an exclusive daughter with Mythra? Yes this is a poly, but Nia did not show a romantic interest in Pyra/Mythra

And I herself does appear in at least two cutscenes: one where she reports to Melia in Keves Castle, and a flashback to the execution at Hope's Rest.)
I wonder if Mio with the Aegis core may have been an early idea for Mio to be an Avatar for Pneuma with the idea then being slightly changed and used for Na'el instead
48:37 Noah’s initial sword which he painted red looks to be the generic weapon for the Kevesi one-handed no shield swordfighters we fight all the time. I don’t like the idea that a bit of Origin Metal in every Kevesi Incursor-style sword is allows Noah to do great things because couldn’t a sizable minority of soldiers do that? Also we know Noah has one or two innate special abilities: moving around during time stops and releasing some kind of shockwave from his sword (from what is either Garvel’s debut scene or Noah explaining his sword to Mio during Chapter 2). He had one of those in the prologue which means it has nothing to do with being in Aionios
11:46 Mio being Nia and Mythra's child is a wild theory. I never considered that paining even though Nia and Pyra have some shippable moments. I really need some fanart/stories of this.
The new Nia stuff is great but my biggest letdown is that in the weapon section with all these wonderful hi-res, detailed breakdowns of all the weapons there is not one of Nia's sword, a true shame and I think she's the only party member/hero missing there. Her sword is so intricately detailed, I was in denial over its absence and kept rescanning those pages assuming I was overlooking it somehow.

about the Aegis core crystal on Mio is probably they weren't sure if Pyra and Mythra will give Rex their crystal again or just the information of the core is still in Rex's Genes
I don't know wheteher they used Sharla because she looks very "generic xenoblade NPC", or if they made a NPC so generic they ended up making Sharla all over again, but either way, this is really funny
11:50 what you mean by "what we know about the relationship about these characters" sorry but there nothing to point that Nia and Myra/Mythra are into each other, you may can say It If you really forced some scenes but ALL three show romantic feelings only in the contexto Rex AND what is the problem with that? Why people try to make it into a relationship where is a free for all?
Lets see... A clear indication of _some_ kind of physical interest in Mythra during that one Chapter 4 scene. (Yes, you can say someone of the same sex is pretty or handsome or whatever and it be perfectly platonic, but phrasing it specifically as "nice bod you got there" is going to raise some eyebrows.) Nia practically hanging off Pyra's arm when they get to Tantal. Two NG+ title screen animations, one where Nia _shoves Rex out of the way_ and holds the Aegis girls' hands, another where Pyra (not Rex) waves her over to join them. That, in my opinion, is enough to point to Nia at the very least having a crush on the Aegis girls in addition to her romantic attraction to Rex. Who knows where that could lead in the decade plus between the end of Xenoblade 2 and them having their first kids?
@@kevinr.9733 no these are not signs of a crush they are normal interactions, woman do complement each other apperences without any kind feelings invilved i have seen this personaly, she grabing pyras arm was because was a joke with the cold as far girl contact with friends go this is nothing, Nia has much interactions with the aegis as the rest of the party and when the aegis are in danger she shows no sign of corncern for them when she does is because of her concern with Rex , and for the "they had gotten closer off scream" when Nia looks at the phote she thinks with herself "i will see you soon then" she Cleary is talking about just one person: Rex
I do wonder if the reincarnation system was originally going to work differently and those weren't just earlier concepts of the main characters. Like their souls were going to be reincarnated but their physical bodies would be different, maybe after so many cycles. The fact they didn't show the others during noah's past lives makes you wonder. The fact ch5 makes you think you might restart another life and try again seems to lean into that. It was just easier and more haunting to reuse the exact same bodies every time.
"Is there a piece of Origin Metal in every blade"? That thought is interesting, and would explain why only kids seem to have been assimilated: all parents manifested in a form that could help their kids defend themselves, in different ways: thier blades. HOWEVER, that is kinda off, for multiple reasons, which would make this theory basiclally wrong unless I miss something: - City people still have blades they can summon, same for avatars such as Shulk - What happens when parents have 3 kids or more? - Nikol can't summon-. wait. I was about to say "he can't summon his blade, does that mean his parents wouldn't protect him or something? that's kinda sad actually, lmao", but no: his father was in aionios as an avatar, and his mom is already lucky seven. no one was there for him to manifest as a blade. Actually, that would give a lot of credit to this theory, now that I think about it... Glimmer has 3 moms + is related to pneuma, and even if they were all busy, a royal family guard without children could reincarnate as a protection for one of the princesses, ig. so she's okay, good supply of potential blade people. same for mio, in a way. hmmmm.... there might be more to dig on that part. but the city people thing still doesn't add up imo. Unless their parents, already born within aionios, became blade in turn or something?
i just like to imagine rex never finished inside of them (a salvager always pulls out) and the kids are just the result of mio fusing dna of all them together out of frustration
Hey Luxin, big fan of the work you do! the reason Mio has the aegis core in the concept art is because she is actually Nia and Mythra's daughter! Not Nia and Rex's! Hope this helps! 🙏
And if you're wondering about the logistics of this, the explanation is that Nia's bottom surgery went so well that she was able to become pregnant through the power of "good strap"
If you're talking about Origin, then Tora was the lead engineer for the Agnian side and possibly the main designer. It can be assumed that Shulk filled a similar role for the Kevesi side. Remember, it had to be built separately in each of the two worlds prior to the formation of Aionios.
@@عبدالرحمنهندي-ل2ط Ah, gotcha. It's not really confirmed one way or the other that I know of, but given that (a) Rex wouldn't have needed new swords prior to Aionios (as he'd still be able to use Pyra and Mythra's actual swords, albeit less effectively without the Conduit) and (b) Tora's whereabouts within Aionios are unknown (if he manifested at all), Shulk is the next most likely candidate.
@@angeldude101 Sure, if you think about it a little it's like "How did the Aegis not impose their genetics on Mio, with Blade being stronger?" The only answer is that Monolith soft wanted another cat girl.

14:40 I think they’re called pigtails
13:47 "Nah, I'd win"
Hour long upload on a Friday
I'm so downloading this asap!
8:43
11:14 maybe the original intent was that Mio was a fusion of all of Rex's kids
14:29
1:00:06 Rex just straight up being TWBW Ichigo!
Isnt the image of the campfire on 6:15 in the inside part of the cover of the game physical case, where he cartdrige is
So, what I'm getting is that A original had Ries Argent's fighting style.
10:15 The middle one has thicker black lines for her skirt
Glimmer’s “bird familiar” is actually Siren
I don't know wheteher they used Sharla because she looks very "generic xenoblade NPC", or if they made a NPC so generic they ended up making Sharla all over again, but either way, this is really funny
28:15 it’s because they spell Grand Old Party and Independent party innit
28:03 This is false, he wears it in the cutscene where its revealed he became a Consul.
11:50 what you mean by "what we know about the relationship about these characters" sorry but there nothing to point that Nia and Myra/Mythra are into each other, you may can say It If you really forced some scenes but ALL three show romantic feelings only in the contexto Rex
AND what is the problem with that? Why people try to make it into a relationship where is a free for all?
Lets see...
A clear indication of _some_ kind of physical interest in Mythra during that one Chapter 4 scene. (Yes, you can say someone of the same sex is pretty or handsome or whatever and it be perfectly platonic, but phrasing it specifically as "nice bod you got there" is going to raise some eyebrows.)
Nia practically hanging off Pyra's arm when they get to Tantal.
Can anyone give light on the mentioned machine translation about Chrys on 23:35 ?
I hope we get a Klaus Collection Remastered for Switch 2. Will play everything again.
Am working on a Hero Nia cosplay, I have analyzed her outfit so much but I wish I had that concept art sooner.
42:00 I don’t think that’s Rex, I think that’s concept art Noah
Great video! A classic from Luxin.
23:57 start of chapter 6. Chapter 5 ends when N swings for Noah’s neck
Yooo chilchuck dungeon meshi reference
Luxin continues to have kino tastes
32:56 isn't it on p161? And is there any new art of that uraya/tantal looking area from p174 of the first art book?
New Luxin vid wooooo!!
"Is there a piece of Origin Metal in every blade"?
That thought is interesting, and would explain why only kids seem to have been assimilated: all parents manifested in a form that could help their kids defend themselves, in different ways: thier blades.
HOWEVER, that is kinda off, for multiple reasons, which would make this theory basiclally wrong unless I miss something:
- City people still have blades they can summon, same for avatars such as Shulk
- What happens when parents have 3 kids or more?
No Astelle art in the Artbook. Broke my heart
Nia getting Mythra pregnant is my new favourite HC thanks Luxin 😂
Matthew and Na'el aren't noticeably tanner than Rex
The Origin mech form looks like it may have taken inspiration from Xenogears' Deus busting out of Merkava ruclips.net/video/IyFdizEmgps/видео.html
8:50 its all gondhor backstory 😂
I kinda wish the chibi pages were sticker sheets :( still nice to have the chibis though
An hour long video let's goooooo
clearly
mio is nia + mythra's child
i just like to imagine rex never finished inside of them (a salvager always pulls out) and the kids are just the result of mio fusing dna of all them together out of frustration
34:37 FFX anyone?
30:46
Do you mean 193?
Hey Luxin, big fan of the work you do! the reason Mio has the aegis core in the concept art is because she is actually Nia and Mythra's daughter! Not Nia and Rex's! Hope this helps! 🙏
And if you're wondering about the logistics of this, the explanation is that Nia's bottom surgery went so well that she was able to become pregnant through the power of "good strap"
WAIT HE ACTUALLY JUST STRAIGHT UP SAID IT AFTER I UNPAUSED HOLY SHIT
Absolutely haram
Honestly, Justice for Panacea and Linka, make them main party members in Xenoblade 4 with updated designs along with Mythras Kid
You should try monster hunter
8:30 the art that ruined r/Xenoblade_Chronicles for 2 weeks
Wait was it confirmed to be made by Shulk rather then Tora?
If you're talking about Origin, then Tora was the lead engineer for the Agnian side and possibly the main designer. It can be assumed that Shulk filled a similar role for the Kevesi side.
Remember, it had to be built separately in each of the two worlds prior to the formation of Aionios.
@@kevinr.9733 i was talking about Rex's weapons "they're probably made by shulk 59:22" when I porbably missed the word probably but oh well
@@عبدالرحمنهندي-ل2ط Ah, gotcha.
@@kevinr.9733 what if Tora made him his sword prior to Aionis as a backup plan for Z/A or any other accidents?
Like lucky seven versions most likely being from seperate univeres and aren't made by the same people
Nia pregnant Mythra?
Ok?
😱
It's a meaningless headcanon.
@@lacramaldita2230 A funny one, but meaningless nonetheless.
@@angeldude101 Sure, if you think about it a little it's like "How did the Aegis not impose their genetics on Mio, with Blade being stronger?" The only answer is that Monolith soft wanted another cat girl.
