I have studied the current violent crime statistics. 1985/1986 was the worst in history... but... there has been an increase in the past few years, with the sharpest up tick being in 2020/2021. I am certain when the stats from 2022 we will get a true picture. And I will add that's nationally. I also think you will see increases in certain areas if you look a that level. I think the current trend is a very sharp curve up. Yes, it's easier to hear of crime these days with the internet... but the statistics say it's up. I think the reasons it's going up now is very different from the 1980's also.

The grandmother said "I don't know how to do this". My God, who could possibly know how to handle such an unimaginable horrific act. My heart breaks for her, the dad and those poor babies who don't have a mommy anymore.

I've been stalked. It's scary for sure. If I were being stalked and/or harassed by someone this dangerous, I'd change my name and move thousands of miles away. Why? Restraining orders don't do squat against a crazy person or someone determined to harm you. It's beyond sad and disgusting that he was able to do this to her. I feel for her family. They will never get over it. I hope her children aren't emotionally damaged to the point that their lives are ruined as they mature.

The father killed the mother in a rage. The little one year old baby will have no memory of her . The day will come when she understands all this , but in her early childhood years the immediate trauma will not haunt her. The seven year old needs immediate help! She witnessed her mother’s boyfriend slaughter her mother. This comes after years of being exposed to the man’s acting out and her mother’s acting out in ways to which no child should be exposed. Heartbreak for the children goes way beyond their mother’s horrible death.

He also had remorse though and tried REAL hard to fix himself and ended up going through treatment and hiking and as far as I know he is doing well.

people are immune to this type of thing even children, i was watching a program about a murder that took place, and the one thing the declivities were overlooking was the possibilities of the type of weapon used for the crime! they were talking about how hard it would be to go up to someone with a knife and disembowel them with a butcher's knife, i commented that they needed to look into martial arts weapons because there are blades designed to do that type of damage with no effort to the killer and it can be done in seconds, the person killed was probably dead before they felt their guts pour out, a sword is a messy way to kill someone its not like in the movies where a ninja slices someone and theres only a trickle of blood

I can’t even begin to wrap my brain around the magnitude of this horrific event let alone try to imagine the traumatic heart wrenching grief of this father and grandmother...I send out loving prayers to this family and the two little lives left to grow up with such an unbelievable loss at the hands of one of one’s own father. May God grant them protection from this somehow and give the family the strength and guidance to raise them to rise above any circumstances that would lead them into an abusive relationship. My heart breaks for the entire family. 🙏🏼

A judge puts the order in place, if the person even tries to contact you, and you have proof, it’s immediate grounds for law enforcement to take action and if the order is broken by the person who it’s against, they will be taken to jail and will face a judge. Any police that don’t take action will be sued in court! So yes, they do work when protocol is followed and you don’t act and do stupid things!

I truly pray and hope that her children did not witness this horrific murder. I feel sorry and pray for anyone who witnessed this. The trauma from seeing a murder committed especially in that way has to be overwhelming. I cannot even imagine how i would react after witnessing something that horrible. If she really felt threatened by him, she would have been too scared to make contact. This woman obviously had poor judgement and was quite frankly selfish for being with a child r***ist WHILE having children of her own.
She didn't deserve what happened to her, but it's not like there weren't a myriad of red flags along the way. Sadly, she chose her own romantic needs over her safety and most importantly, her children's safety.
God knows. Forgive me, but where Is the other father of the children? Or was It fathers? A child won't keep a man or make him change for the better. A rape of a minor, no job, mental issues, yet she has a child with him. God give sense to people. She wasn't careful she was foolish, It costed her life.

They don’t work at all if you get one and violate it yourself. It goes both ways and would be contempt. It’s an extremely sad situation for the children and family.

It is very difficult to leave abusers. Sometimes fear, sometimes thinking you can help them. It is a scary situation that you cannot understand unless you have been in it. It isn't simple. He may have become more imbalanced later in the relationship. Showed his best self. Then the abuser starts to show themselves. Plenty of time to get pregnant before you realize what is happening.
