  • Hi!
    No music. No talking. Just work.
    If you are taking your ASUS ROG GL502V laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
    Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
    If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
    Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.
    Have fun and good luck!!

    BEWARE: the way he disconnects the battery connector is wrong and COULD FRY THE MOTHERBOARD!!!
    Disconnecting the connector to the battery the way he does in this video is irresponsible and could damage equipment. I learned the proper way to disconnect the connector is unscrewing the battery, lifting it out and simply letting the connector separate by pulling the battery away. The way he does it can short the battery connectors to the various metal components (specifically, the one directly under the metal screwdriver he uses) on the motherboard, which is what happened to me. Fortunately, mine still turns on and boots into the OS, but who knows what's broken.
    regazzz should edit the video to add a note that the connector can simply be separated by gently pulling the batter away, instead of using a METAL screwdriver over parts of the motherboard that can short the motherboard with a high-voltage connection.

      Should be similar. Last letters are mostly for different screen resolution and/or other configs...

    complete disassembly my ass, where in the video are you removing the keyboard from the chasis? that's the hardest, shittiest part, that is nevertheless super important

    • @regazzz
      @regazzz  Год назад +1

      @@regazzz I'm serious man. keyboard replacement a very important part of the disassembly process, especially in this model where A the manual doesn't include it, and B it's an absolutely horrible procedure - you can't remove it without damaging the plastic, and according to the only video out there that demonstrates the procedure, you have to melt new plastic over it if you want to put a new keyboard in

      @@ishaagari1997 it is sucks, I know, I just don't do this in my videos because this is just too much. If there are billion screws holding a keyboard I might remove it or not, if there are no screws I am not going to remove it because of time/cost ratio.
      You see many times you can just buy a palmrest with a keyboard and replace it, rather than melt and glue a keyboard back.
      I could probably understand if a keyboard is in a different language with specific hard to find letters.
