Thank you so much, this was such a relaxing make for me. Your speed is perfect and the way you audio describe and have the steps on the screen is perfect for me. I have a perfect squid now ❤️ Thank you!! Can't wait to do more of your tutorials!
I loved this pattern! I made a larger squid for my son last year. He requested a baby squid and this was perfect! Instead of using bulky yarn, i used a smaller hook and size 4 yarn. It worked perfectly! This pattern convinced me to finally order safety eyes after a year of improvement on lovies, so i did MC 6 of black, then sc inc of white and whipped stitched into the sides like an actual squid. Otherwise i followed pattern!
Thank you for sharing this pattern of the 🐙 . I really enjoyed it. You are a good teacher. You explain thoroughly every step. So it was easy to follow you. Thanks again ❤
Easy for beginners(like me, this is my 2nd amigurumi) i had no problems at all. Thank you for explaining it so well and how you took your time. I'm definitely subscribing, thank you so much! it turned out so well!
I really enjoyed watching your video. Thank you. I have a question about the squid, how big is it in length and width ? How can you extend the body to 13 inches long?
Thank you so much! Total in length it is 13 inches to the bottom of the longer tentacles, width is 4.5in. ( with the yarn I used and my crochet tension) If you want just the upper portion of the body 13in long not including the length of the tentacles you would just have to add extra rows probably in both 6-11 rows and 15-20 rows until your desired length ! I hope this answers your questions !
I used larger yarn and hook. I did not change any of the stitches in the video, and my squid's body came out almost 15 inches. So, it definitely depends on the yarn and hook size you use.@@doubledutchcrochet
Hello! Yes if you use the same yarn I did it will be more than enough to just have one! Those ones are 100g so if you choose a yarn with around that much you’ll be fine!
Ok, I think this is so fabulous that I would love to get him one, I’ve also watched the seahorse and if you can sell me one of each I would so appreciate it sorry to ask again x

@@lisahatfield4512 yes absolutely !! Any change in yarn or hook will change the size!! I hope you enjoyed the pattern ❤️
Hi! I was just choosing which yarn to use and I was wondering if one skein of yarn would be enough to complete the whole squid? Thanks in advance!

Ok! Thank you so much for the reply!!❤️
Hi, do you ever make these to sell as I’ve broken my wrist and would love one for my grandson x
Hi Jane! Currently I do not make them to sell because they take me so long to make I just don’t have the time ! I’m so sorry 😢
Ok, I think this is so fabulous that I would love to get him one, I’ve also watched the seahorse and if you can sell me one of each I would so appreciate it sorry to ask again x
