I added some little feet to my darling duck, to make him sit better. This is what I did: Row 1: with orange yarn, ch 3. Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in the end ch, ch1, turn. Row 2: Inc in first sc, SC in next, ch 1, turn. Row 3: in first sc, sl, ch2, sl in same stitch (this makes a "toe"). Repeat the sl, ch 2., sl in each of the next two sc. End off. Sew the feet onto rnd 15 of the duck's body and sew in ends. I would show a picture of the feet on my duck, but there doesn't seem to be any way to do that.
Thanks Phyllis for this added info. I also put some feet on my duckie using your instructions. Took it a step further by attaching it to the bottom using the method she described in the video to attach the wings and beak. So no need for sewing, that worked for my since I don’t have a large enough need for yarn. Thanks again for your tip.

I've struggled understanding this style of crochet, but your video is so clear on what to do that I'll be making ducks and hopefully, I'll have a better understanding of how to do the kits I've been bought. Thanks for being so clear 😊
I love this cute pattern! I did notice the written directions for the wings don’t match what you do, the written indicates 3DC in 3 st (making 9 total) For the wings the written directions should be CH2, DC in same stitch, DC next 3 st, CH1, turn, skip st, SC next 2, sl st in last
@@SweetSofties Also, if I want to make a brown and green duck, just like the one in the thumbnail, which round should I switch to white and which one to brown? thanks!
Thanks! Now I have my very own duck, and it's really cute! I really like your no sew patterns, and I'm hoping that you release more no sew patterns because I love them!
So awesome to hear! I have lots of no-sew amigurumi on my channel; be sure to check out some of my latest videos like the no-sew baby bird, bunny, and a panda bear (to be released soon)!
thanks for sharing this pattern! love the fact it's no sew, as I have no yarn needle around. a tip for those who want a flatter base, I did all the stitches in row 15 in the back loops only (yes even the decreases!) it helps the yarn to angle 'inwards' making a nice flat edge along the bottom. from row 16 onwards I worked the yarn as normal.
Exciting news! A CROCHET KIT for this pattern is available: yarnsea.com/en/project/2118/crochet-duck-free-amigurumi-pattern#option-pattern-button

This video was absolutely perfect. My new fav. Thank you!
Aww, so glad you like it! Thanks!
Just made my first duckie in white. It's super easy and fun! Thank you! Kva kva 🦆
So happy to hear that!!
This pattern is so cute! I made a yellow one and a green/brown one and I love them both 😁🐥🦆
Aww, that's so awesome!! They must be little besties!
I love this cute pattern! I did notice the written directions for the wings don’t match what you do, the written indicates 3DC in 3 st (making 9 total)
For the wings the written directions should be CH2, DC in same stitch, DC next 3 st, CH1, turn, skip st, SC next 2, sl st in last
So cute. Thank you for sharing!
So glad you like it!!

@@SweetSofties Also, if I want to make a brown and green duck, just like the one in the thumbnail, which round should I switch to white and which one to brown? thanks!

Thanks so much - your patterns are brilliant! Such a cute little duck!
by far the cutest rubber ducky crochet pattern hahaha
as soon as i get some yarn and hooks then im gonna try to make a tiny duck because these are adorable 😭
You're gonna love learning to crochet!
thanks for sharing this pattern! love the fact it's no sew, as I have no yarn needle around.
a tip for those who want a flatter base, I did all the stitches in row 15 in the back loops only (yes even the decreases!) it helps the yarn to angle 'inwards' making a nice flat edge along the bottom. from row 16 onwards I worked the yarn as normal.
That's an awesome tip, thansk for sharing!! I'm sure that'll help make the duck sit better!
This turned out just perfect! Thankyou so much for all the detailed instructions!❤
Yay so happy to hear that!!
I made one because I messed up on another one and I love my little duck ❤ thank you so much for this awesome tutorial!
