It's like John and Flea are the left and right sides of a brain-they complete each other's musical thoughts, and Chad is the heart that keeps blood pumped to It. Anthony is the body that contains the insane funk vibrations and channels them into language
I love how Frusciante just passed the lead onto Flea at 5:58 and transitioned to playing rhythm, and then Flea just shredded the lead on bass... when your bassist can play lead (and actually do it well), you know you got a good band....
That John Fruciante is an f-ing worker! I’ve never heard/seen a player who throws in the extras like he does on every song. I say “extras”, Dean Ween refers to them as “tasters”.....the extra bend or slide, etc. that just makes the song sound much fuller live. It’s rare that someone is as talented at their job as he is.
As a live band, these guys give everything they have to a performance. Throwing themselves fully into the show. And that's what makes them one of the best bands ever.
Love the fact that they improvise almost the entire time, taking the risk of playing something that sounds questionable but also the possibility of playing something extraordinary
Frusciante is legit my biggest guitar hero, he's got the Hendrix style playing with an evolved modern touch, mix that with his own vibe and touches you get a tasty ass guitar cocktail
I loved the performance and came here mainly for that, but that is actually a really beautifully shot concert. The film team deserves a pat on the back for this one!
Wow. That jam gave me goosebumps. Ye transition from the outro solo to the improv one was sublime and then the seamless stepping back into embellished chords to let flea do a bass solo was seamless. Musical telepathy at its best. Simply sublime music.
I still find it remarkable that John Frusciante can write something that's technically fairly simple, yet near impossible to imitate properly. I guess that's the very definition of playing from the soul.
Oh man, this performance is the perfect representation of the stars being aligned. Everything is perfect. Vocals, guitar, bass, so much energy coming out of this. ❤️
The ending part of the song (the additional part after the solo ends ) sounds heavily inspired from the late great Jimi Hendrix's " all along the watchtower"....same chord sequence with similar pull offs and bits.... Thoroughly enjoyed it.....
Uma das melhores versões ao vivo dessa música, senão a melhor! Amo a forma que o John se entrega nesse show! É uma de suas performances ao vivo mais brilhantes, é incrível a forma que ele toca as notas e nossos corações, simplesmente impecável.
This band has three things going for it, those are; feel, tone and groove!!!!! Love their use of playing in aeolian mode, another reason I love this band!
John and Flea have the ability to converse with each other through their instruments. That's what it's like, a perfectly symbiotic conversation without words.
j'ai beau regarder plusieurs fois leur live, je ne m'en lasse jamais ! Flea m'a fait comprendre à quel point la basse peut-être magique... ! merci du partage !
The more and more I watch these guys play live the sadder I get realizing that they really needed all of their demons present to be able to perform like this live. Otherworldly band playing.
Buenos días . Soy Matías de Santa Cruz Río Gallegos "Argentina!!! Amo a los RED HOT!! SALUDOS !!! COMO NO AMARLOS SI SON ÚNICOS Y QUE MARCARON UNA HERMOSA ETAPA DE LA LIFE
This the best live ever of dany california. The solo and the jam at the end is just awsome ! And the bass solo at the end to close the song... This is rock ! Why did you leave Red hot John...
Jams are always rehearsed boyos. The embellishments and solos are most spontaneous, but they have practiced many hours with eachother and their chemistry is always on point. It’s also pre determined in rehearsals what groove they will get into after a song, and then paint over top of it with solos. Amazing work
Flea is probably one of the most under rated bass players out there. Those of you who doubt this guy has raw talent just stop and watch this. Perfect solo!!!!!
One of The best live rock music performance i have ever seen, they sound like gods, guitars, drums, lead singer omg .. Even better than official video big thumbs up🤩👌🤘
At 5:01 John is experiencing an Neard death Experience and bring some magic from there. Best Bass Player, Best Guitar ever, Best Drummer and one of the best flow ever. What do you expect ?!?
I love Jimi, but he wasn’t even in the same ballpark as John as a guitarist. That’s not a slight, because I can’t think of anyone who comes close to JF’s skill level
It's like John and Flea are the left and right sides of a brain-they complete each other's musical thoughts, and Chad is the heart that keeps blood pumped to It. Anthony is the body that contains the insane funk vibrations and channels them into language
Just casually putting out the best explanation of the old RHCP :)
James Cameron I came back again, a year later, and this version still blows my cortex
This sounds like it would be an intense music video.
Pratice. Fun, and talent
Anthony is the dick of the group, in a positive way
I love how Frusciante just passed the lead onto Flea at 5:58 and transitioned to playing rhythm, and then Flea just shredded the lead on bass... when your bassist can play lead (and actually do it well), you know you got a good band....
What did you expect of Michael Peter motherfucking Balzary
Smoothiest transition ive ever seen
Flea's bass reminds me of the good old days when Cliff Burton was still alive.RHCP Rocks 😎
@@nelsonvontitfuk1471 Not always. It's kind of some unspoken timing between musicians once you played together for a few years.

John and Flea are the best guitar-bass couple ever
along with jimmy page and john paul jones.
BeforeTheBeginning YES.
m0ments-have-you Jack Bruce and Eric Clapton
Guthrie Govan and Brian Beller.
And the music is their love child.
Slash and Duff was kinda good too
Which other guitarist would let the bassist have a solo during one of his own best solos. CLASS from Frusciante
Pete Townshend....look up John entwhistles solos there amazing
@@theonewhoknows2 John and Flea are both amazing at their instruments, while Entwistle was way way way way better at bass than Pete is at guitar
all of them(?)
When the bassist's name is Flea, you have no other choice but doing it.
what more can one expect from god?
They should form a band
Should name it after something spicy
Like Peppers...
and something red, maybe
Yahir Edmundo Rojas Hernandez maybe they should use an adjective, how about hot?
Red spicy hot peppers sounds good
I can't get over johns brilliant guitar playing!!
+Clay Hinkle john frusicante is an absolute genius
+Clay Hinkle Completely agree, but Flea is as great as Frusciante!
+TheSelfAwakening i think he is smaller
+RorysIrishTour lol
every year i visit this video eventually.
qkc you have one month left my friend
I'm here :))
please kiss already
hey yari :)
found ya XD

Definitly a hendrix "All along the watchtower-jam" right after the solo. One of my all-time favourite solos this particular one.
That outro solo still blowing my mind to this day.
As a live band, these guys give everything they have to a performance. Throwing themselves fully into the show. And that's what makes them one of the best bands ever.

I loved the performance and came here mainly for that, but that is actually a really beautifully shot concert. The film team deserves a pat on the back for this one!
especially vs. Chorzow where they insisted on showing the crowd way too much
THIS IS NOT A DRILL! John is back!!!
Best fucking news that ive heard in my entire life
To bad that this corona shit canceled their shows :(
@@SeekTranscendence Like Everybody 😭 Cardi B was supposed to come here in South Africa but due to the Kung Flu she cancelled 😤😠😪😓
@@sambanelly25 we're here to talk about real musicians, not cardi b

johns voice is angelic
I love how John improvises on the solo to mix things up
dude i see you everywhere xD
Joseffo calm down, moron
JustATurtlePassingThrough I wasn't talking to you, it's because his name is 'im easily offended' 😂
Take It Easy - I'm Easily Offended lol
Don't forget about Flea! He did an amazing job improvising that Bass riff at the end as well
Chad always smiles while playing. They clearly love performing, which makes them even better.
Wow. That jam gave me goosebumps. Ye transition from the outro solo to the improv one was sublime and then the seamless stepping back into embellished chords to let flea do a bass solo was seamless. Musical telepathy at its best. Simply sublime music.
Love it when flea starts playing this melody at 5:07 so beautiful 🤩
この時のDani Californiaが1番好きだなぁ
I still find it remarkable that John Frusciante can write something that's technically fairly simple, yet near impossible to imitate properly. I guess that's the very definition of playing from the soul.
I've never been able to play Snow
Man, in live performances, at the end of every song, John goes on an insane guitar solo binge. One of the best things about him.
he is unstoppable about it
Oh man, this performance is the perfect representation of the stars being aligned. Everything is perfect. Vocals, guitar, bass, so much energy coming out of this. ❤️
During this performance, John Frusciante won music.
hahahah
When wasn't it like this?
+Lucas Indrusiak never
How the fuck do you win music
B Jeffrey clearly John frusciante is better than everyone else in his line of work.
Back when MTV was about MUSIC.
Yup, no phones eitherr
think about this, Dani California is the last radio single in the past decade that has implanted a legitimate guitar solo. RIP music and the RHCP
that sad but true
"too true too sad sad sad" lol
totally not true
Yes it is
+Chris Miller Music is great, radio is shit.
The ending part of the song (the additional part after the solo ends ) sounds heavily inspired from the late great Jimi Hendrix's " all along the watchtower"....same chord sequence with similar pull offs and bits.... Thoroughly enjoyed it.....
John is just so on 🔥🔥🔥 here. This might be my favorite live video of his playing i can find
Uma das melhores versões ao vivo dessa música, senão a melhor! Amo a forma que o John se entrega nesse show! É uma de suas performances ao vivo mais brilhantes, é incrível a forma que ele toca as notas e nossos corações, simplesmente impecável.
Definitely the peek of RHCP watching these guys together is like magic. Truly something amazingly special.

やっと音楽というものに巡り会えた作品が、このred hot chili peppers のDani Californiaです。
素晴らしい作品をありがとう!
flea and john are the best duo ever. thanx god, they re -combined back again !
This clip is an addiction. I keep coming back to this one performance of this song. Damn they were on that night.
The Red Hot Chilli Peppers never fail to cheer me up.
One of the best bands, and one of the best things to come out of California ever.
Oh my!! John is specially agressive here on the guitar, I think that this is one of the best Dani California performances.
Most epic outro ever!
The 2:15 mark when they both sing. wow - I've come back to this song after several years and it's absolutely brilliant.
One of their best performances incredible
Listening and watching the RHCPs live performances brings me back to a state of awe.
The final Guitar n' Bass solo was simply amazing
F**k yeah
the solo tore me a new asshole
LOL twos better than one i suppose. That solo rocks.
love when flea fuzzes up his bass
John and Flea have the ability to converse with each other through their instruments. That's what it's like, a perfectly symbiotic conversation without words.
The bands that got me into rock music. Thank you so much Chili Peppers
j'ai beau regarder plusieurs fois leur live, je ne m'en lasse jamais ! Flea m'a fait comprendre à quel point la basse peut-être magique... ! merci du partage !
俺の中では世界一かっこいい曲
MY ALL TIME “ FAV” BAND
Only RHCP can pull off two simultaneous solos at a time
I can give my life for you Guys....My love for RHCP is unconditional
Probably best jamming trio ever...
This solo is so original while being really close to the original! That's so nice! And the Allalongthewatchtower-esque outro jam is magic.
The more and more I watch these guys play live the sadder I get realizing that they really needed all of their demons present to be able to perform like this live. Otherworldly band playing.
The undisputed masters of live performances .
The solo always makes me happy.
The most therapeutic session..
In this concert they played their best version of give it away and dani California
Le solo à la fin 😍✨
Strong all along the watchtower vibes in that outro jam
This is one of my favorite live version of this song ❤
What a hell of a solo

I'm glad John is back! His solo improvs are awesome!!!!
I can listen to John Frusciante’s brilliant guitar playing all day❤️
i love how John looks like jesus and at the same time looks like someone who made a pact with the devil
Oh the finale is gran.
This must be my fav guitar solo ever. And that outro, omg.
I'm surprised Flea hasn't got some kind of whiplash or brain injury from swinging his head around the past few decades :) RHCP forever
There's this guy called Joe dart. He inherited this awful disease.
no government subsidies for active bassists
Joe dart on the fender bass
damn finding vulf fans on random threads gets me hyped up I'm sorry :p
🤣
I love this song so much. I love beind drunk and listening to this masterpiece. Is there any better thing in this world?
the audience is so damn lucky
This is an Excellent live version of this song !!
4.58s into Dani California and chill and he gives you this look
When the song is done but she keeps soloing
3:45.... that walkdown.... so simple yet so satisfying.
Flea is probably one of the most under rated bass players out there. Those of you who doubt this guy has raw talent just stop and watch this. Perfect solo!!!!!
Not really under rated but is definitely the bass bass player of all time along with john entwistle, Nathan watts, and John Paul jones
Certainly not underrated, pretty sure he got voted as the 2nd best bass player after McCartney.
All great picks and even though flea is my favorite, I would definitely throw cliff Burton in the mix as well..
Flea is a god among human beings on this planet

this is why you should buy fender
It's not the guitar that makes the guitarist

Fahmi Zaenal guitar yes bass I prefer stingray or sire cheap but the tone is godly
Adrian Boudry that’s true but this fender strat tone along with John’s playing is Godly :)
@Punk Rocker definitely a combo of hands and equipment. would sound completely different if he played a les paul.
that major chords of end from john was the moment that prove he is a god of guitar
holy shit anthony is wearing a shirt live.....

We all know he probably took it off later during the show

Primero el solo de John y después el de Flea simplemente extraordinario.
Gift to the world 😊
I can listen this song all my life !!!
this perfomance and solo is epic !:!:!:!
I’m convinced John is Jimi Hendrix reincarnated
Fact: john is a big fan of hendrix. When john was only 12 years if im not mistaken he can play all of hendrix songs
Yes both of them was my favorite.. Got certain things of them was same
no.
