Bardzo fajny warsztat. Zdecydowanie lepiej się ogląda tą budowę w całości, niż tak bardzo poszatkowaną, jak we wcześniejszych tutorialach. Czekam na kolejne i pozdrawiam.
Też tak wolę oglądać. Jednak coś za coś - filmy są rzadziej ;)

That was a great video to watch. The engineering of the parts looks very good. Its a great build. All those tiny decals, my eyes wouldn't manage 1/72 scale now.

I have the weekend edition of this kit and plan to build it in East German markings, armed with the big S-24 individual rockets and SB-16 rocket pods. I will also mount the RATO bottles.

I have the same kit from Eduard in 1/48 scale, have not started it yet because I am intimidated by the decal sheet. I am not a big fan of aircraft with lots of decals, and this kit in 48 scale has LOTS! But seeing the results of your build, I just might give it a try.
Yeah, decals - and stencils especially will really test your resolve.

I served in the 1990s at the air base in Mierzęcice when the '7600 Red' was stationed there. It was operated by 2nd squadron of the 11th Fighter Regiment. I saw it often during takeoffs and landings.
I like "Su-22" more because I was born and spent the first years of my life in Świdwin, but those MiGs bring nice memories too :)

I always find your work to be both educational and entertaining.....excellent job on the MiG. I can see that you have made an improvement on your previous build of the same subject so obviously experience has made a difference (although, in my opinion, I thought your first try wasn't terrible.). Lepiej trafić nie mogłem, jestem w posiadaniu tego modelu, ale ze względu na brak aerografu i czasu nie zabrałem się za sklejanie. Będę miał idealny poradnik do jego budowy. Świetna robota!
Mogłeś trafić lepiej - na przykład szóstkę w totolotka ;)

Superb work on the Mig. Much improvement over your previous work. Though there is one thing I like about your previous Mig that the new one lacks. The pilot figure. I like populated planes....Hahahahahaha. Keep up the great work.

Beautiful Mig, congratulations👍🏻! I also want to thank you for the tip on the model-color 70838, I just ordered some. I have this kit sleeping on my shelf because I was reluctant to buy 3 paint, plus shipping ($20...) to (try to)follow their mix for 3 drops of paint.
I love the polished metal finish but I also love the Egyptian camo (not included), not sure yet.

Great job! I build this kit too. It's a very good detailed and engineered model and I think it will be not my last MiG-21 from eduard. You can see a slideshow of the build in my vids.

Beautiful model and a great tutorial, IMHO rocket shouldn't have gotten a wash because they're taken out of a box before each flight
How is that related? Wash is to create shadows. Rockets have shadows, no matter how well they are hidden in their boxes.
Q: after u apply the black primer do you sand and buff before applying the black gloss ? Because I debating if I should do this extra work.
I don't do it. But I look closely if there's an overspray somewhere. I take a cotton cloth and try if it runs smoothly on the surface. If there's an overspray, you can feel it and use a fine sanding sponge in this spot. The key is to use a fine primer (1000 at least), thin it properly and to use small air pressure.
But I understand people who sand and polish the models surface before using metalizer. I'm just too lazy to do it ;)
@@Big-Modeller what grit of a “fine” sanding sponge you recommend, 1500 ?
I use Tamiya 2000 grit sanding sponge.
Are there any improvements from your first MiG 21 build? Was it the same kit and the same MiG 21?
It's not the same kit. The first one was made by the Zvezda company and this new one by Eduard. MiG from my old movie was in the BIS version and this one is MF (predecessor).
You have to judge for yourself if I made any improvements ;)

W moim odczuciu to jest to samo.
Czy podczas malowania używasz komory lakierniczej, jeśli tak to jakiej? Pytam ponieważ nawet przy wysprzątanym warsztacie mam problem z pyłkami i zastanawiam się nad zakupem sprawdzonego modelu.
Niestety nie mogę sobie pozwolić na takie luksusy.
Może nie masz problemu z pyłkami, tylko z odkurzem?
@@Big-Modeller a jeśli to odkurz to jak sobie z tym radzisz? polerka gąbką? opryskiwanie rozcieńczalnikiem, czy więcej opóźniacza?
Bardzo rzadka farba i niskie ciśnienie w aero, malowanie małą plamką powoli jest bardziej czasochłonne ale załatwia problem odkurzu. No i jak z wszystkim w życiu - trzeba dużo ćwiczyć ;)
hope someone will help me. To me the kit is missing some part.
At 8min you are putting the decal on a peice taht has been added to the main frame. I don't know what this piece is. In the kit (the instruction order is a bit different but no matter) it is only referenced as "plastic", with no part number ! Does it means i have to build the piece myself from plastic card ?!
Around the 8th minute, I was glueing a metal part to the side part of the cockpit. You can see the element at the 3:00 minute.
If that's not it, then try to be more specific. An exact time might be helpful. I'll try to help.

Nie, po prostu jest na rynku dużo porządnych, nowoczesnych modeli niewiele droższych od... że tak dyplomatycznie napiszę zestawów "vintage".
Powiedz mi gdzie ten zestaw teraz kupić :) pięknie zrobiony.
Gdy go zaczynałem robić to były takie zestawy dostępne w internetowych sklepach modelarskich. Teraz faktycznie poznikały, może trzeba poczekać na dostawę od producenta.
@@Big-Modeller kupiłem wersję bez polskich kalek. Przygotowałem kokpit pod PE i spasowanie jest świetne :D Doskonały model. Chociaż mam na wykończeniu f-15e od academy z nowych form i to jeszcze wyższa klasa. Można powiedzieć że skleja się sam, wszystko jest idealnie spasowane.
Racja. Najlepsza jest część z hamulcem aerodynamicznym. Włożyłem ją na miejsce i weszła tak dokładnie, że przez chwilę się zastanawiałem gdzie posmarować klejem ;)
Na starym Migu szachownica na ogonie jest odwrotnie- która jest poprawna? :D
Obie. Jakoś tak w latach 90 zmieniono wzór szachownicy (przekręcono ją o 90 stopni) gdyż tak jak jest teraz jest zgodne z zasadami heraldyki.
Mój pierwszy model miga przedstawia nowszą wersję BIS z aktualnym wzorem szachownicy a nowszy model przedstawia starszą wersję MF ze starym wzorem szachownicy.
Ee no, nie jest tak źle z tym migiem ze zvezdy, bez przesady. Finał assembly z użyciem super glue? Czeka Pan na wyschniecie washa, czy od razu jechane ?
Dopiero jak postawiłem jednego MiG'a koło drugiego to do mnie dotarło jak bardzo się ten poprzedni zestarzał ;)
Final assembly klejem CA, wtedy już nie ma wyjścia za bardzo bo wszystko już pomalowane i zwykły klej modelarski nie chwyci.
A z washem to czekam z godzinkę, bo to wash emaliowy. Z olejnym jest dramat bo po 2 dniach potrafi być dalej niegotowy.

Model ładnie wykonany, tylko jedno ale...nie wiem dlaczego wybrałeś na pylonach taki zestaw...autentycznie byłoby bardziej gdybyś zrobił RS-2US na wewnętrznych, a R-3S na zewnętrznych. Tak miała para dyżurna w Mierzęcicach.
Faktycznie by to fajnie wyglądało, jednak tak jak jest też mi się podoba.
